A descrição

French philosophy up to Brunschvicg and Bergson is saturated with works – from Boutroux’s essay on contingency to the question of causes and the possibility of action in Maurice Blondel – similarly tormented by the question of the perforation (trouée) of free will at the heart of English and German scientific and philosophical systems. France itself emerges as a hope to incarnate some or other exception to Anglo-Saxon and Germanic universality, among the new sciences of Nature or culture, of which it is no longer the main provider. As for French spiritualist works, they frequently consist of inversions of Kant or Hegel, which find in the margins of these systems the very center. They thus hang onto liberty, to the will of the person as to an exception to the thoughts around which French philosophies attempt to reconstruct another universality, neither that of knowledge nor of science, but quite often that of action.

The theme of the end of art is controversial because it is remarkable that the art is being produced, which would contradict the thesis mortuary. The end of art, however, was announced at first by Hegel, asserting that art would be more romantic than artistic and spiritual, so the art would be superseded by science and its ability to universality. This thesis of the end of art, however, was defended at other times of philosophy in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Arthur C. Danto is one of the more recent philosophers to affirm it. He argues that contemporary art is a post-historical art, because what ended was the history of art after the era of grand narratives. In the history of art is possible to distinguish between two master narratives that shape discourse about art and what it should be, what their goals and their true ambitions: Danto analyzes narratives of Vasari to Greenberg and decipher the contributions of both to the big time end of art history and post-history. In this, the moment that pluralism is allowed and nothing is done as art can be understood as the opposite, the art reached its autonomy, while delivering to philosophy the task of saying what it is and how it justifies its existence.

This article throws light on the reasoning of the philosopher Alain Badiou on the art of cinema and its false moves. The film, which is fitting, as director of possible realities and overwhelming thought. From her impurity, which is proper, dialogue with other arts without losing its democratic emblem art mass. From the impurity is possible to find an opening for a dialogue between latent Badiou and French theorist André Bazin. Also advocate impure art of cinema, his theory is, in many respects, in accordance with the badiounian.
