Leesa collaborates as an Adjunct Corporate Communications Faculty member at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University. Prior to relocating to Asia, Leesa served as an Adjunct, lecturing on Marketing and Communications on Mod’Art International's MBA in Luxury and Fashion program and Ecole Superieure de Gestion. Subjects taught include Risk Issues and Crisis Management, Public Relations, Digital Communications, Reputation Risk Management & Integrated Marketing Communications, Luxury Advertising and Professional Development.
From January to July 2011, Leesa served as the Corporate Academic Supervisor to the LSE MiM Program to deliver the Digital Communications project for HSBC's Emerging Markets Index. The project was awarded the Foundation for Management Education Prize for the Best Business Project from the London School of Economics. From September to July 2012 she also served as the Corporate Academic Supervisor to the LSE MiM Program for BASF’s Reputation Risk in Supply Chain Project .
An authority on communications strategy and enterprise reputation risk management, Leesa has had a career in communications and technology spanning Europe, Asia Pacific and the Latin Americas that gives her a unique perspective to identify best practice and apply it at a practical level. Her experience covers general management, enterprise reputation risk management, international marketing, corporate communications, digital communications, corporate and social responsibility and public policy across a broad and high risk industry landscape.
Today Leesa serves as Managing Partner of boutique reputation consultancy, RL Expert Group.
A serial entrepreneur, she also volunteers as an Innovation Mentor at the University of Illinois' Advanced Digital Science Centre (ADSC)
Leesa serves on the Global Advisory Council of Cornerstone Capital (NY) and as Board Advisor to Autoscout Inc (IL, USA), Prezly (BE) and La Maison Bio (SG).
Leesa holds a Masters in Management from the University of Southern Queensland and post Graduate Certificates from the University of Victoria, the Australian Graduate School of Management and Harvard. She is a Certified Reputation Management Professional of the Reputation Institute.
