This paper presents an adaptive position control scheme for DC motors based on an on-line closed loop continuous-time identiflcation method. A fast, non-asymptotic, algebraic identiflcation method is used to estimate simultaneously the unknown sys- tem parameters and the unmeasured states to update an adaptive position control scheme.

Thyristor Based Speed Control Techniques of DC Motor: A ... strategy in the system. In this paper report thyristor based control of induction machine for two-phase and three-phase system is describe and model was simulated in the MATLAB simulation. The speed was controlled using the various types of bridge circuit. The variation in speed and torque behaviour of the motor is shown in the result section.

Autonomous robots are used everywhere nowadays and robotics is also gaining popularity all around the world. This motivated us to make an autonomous robot that can avoid obstacle from its path and do a specific task like Pick and Place object. The Project is designed to develop a Pick and Place robot for picking and placing objects.

In this study, real time monitoring and controlling of an elevator prototype based on PLC is developed. The software of PLC has been improved in Simatic Version 4.0 and the main control interface is also developed in Visual Basic as more visual. The system has been applied on a laboratory sized elevator prototype which includes a dc motor, sensors for every floor, gas-smoke detectors and temperature sensor. OPC Server protocol is used to transfer data between the PLC and the control interface. The system developed can be used for not only controlling and monitoring an industrial elevator system but also learning the basic principles of a PLC based system and control strategies of elevator systems as an educational material.

Technology has been putting his part in introducing different projects as we have used the field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) development board of low cost and programmable logic done by the new evolvable cyclone software is optimized for specific energy based on Altera Cyclone II (EP2C5T144) through which we can control the speed of any electronic device or any Motor Control IP product targeted for the fan and pump. Altera Cyclone FPGAs' is a board through which we can monitor the speed and direction of the DC motor. As we know how to make understand, dynamic analog input using an A-to-D convertor and we know how to create pulse width modulation (PWM) output with FPGA. Therefore, by combining these two functions we can create an FPGA DC motor controller. Our paper is divided into three parts: First, all of us will attempt to imitate the issue and can try to look for its answer. Secondly, we will try to verify the solution for real-time. In addition, in the last step, we will verify the solution on the realtime measurements.

This paper deals with the manufacturing of a Prototype of Rotary Car Parking System using Sensors. Lack of space availability has always been a problem in urban areas and major cities and to add to it there are cars parked callously on the streets that further limit the space. In order to handle the issue of parking in busy places various types of vehicle parking systems are used worldwide Rotary Automated Car Parking System and many more. This thesis work is aimed to develop a scale down working model of a car parking system which will reduce the excess use of land space. This total prototype is powered by unipolar stepper motor. This model also uses a RFID Tag and Reader. When the car comes on the ramp the switch will be activated and the pallet comes to carry the vehicle. When the switch will be operated by the operator, sprockets starts to rotate and the new space will be adjusted for new vehicle. The aim of this paper is to avoid problem of traffic jam. It has more public carrying capacity than regular buses and monorail. It does not require special tracks like BRT, mono, metro. Also does not require large construction and can be implemented within short period of time. Here we want to show or explain the technology used in tunnel bus. The automatic stopping of this bus is controlled byan ARM microcontroller. The C programming language is used for programming the microcontroller. The hardware is assembled in a toy like prototype tunnel bus. Actuators and sensors are interfaced with printed circuit board (PCB) which is used for automation purpose. Simulation for the system's circuit is done with the help of Proteus software. RFID reader is used to identification of right track.

The project is to develop a robotic vehicle capable of detecting the presence of fire and extinguishing it automatically. It is a movable robot that consists of gas sensor for detecting the fire, gear motor and motor driver for the movement of the robot, relay driver for pump control and a Bluetooth module which are used for the detecting and extinguishing the fire. Usually, the robot moves at a steady speed. When the gas sensor detects the fire in the environment, the signal indicating the presence of fire will be sent to the Arduino through which the extinguishing is done. In the extinguishing process, whenever the detection of fire is positive the robot will stop at the place of fire occurred and starts the pump and sprinkle water through a sprinkler until the smoke is put off. The entire control is achieved using Arduino which is interfaced with the android mobile via Bluetooth module, so that the control of the robot can be made from an android mobile as well. This paper proposes the artificial neural network based
controller for speed control of a separately excited DC motor.
The Artificial Neural Network controller allows controlling both
type of systems i.e. linear and non-linear system by training the
network. So it is a novel approach to study and a broad research
area.
      In this paper three controllers “PI, PID, ANC” have been
designed and implemented in the MATLAB /Simulink model to
examine the performance of DC motor with different loads. The
results show that the ANC give better response compared to PI &
PID controller.

The present paper deals with an outdoor environment of Laptop and Mobile Charging Station which provides a charging to the Laptop and Mobile with the help of Solar and Wind Energy &Vertical Windmill (power generators). The equipment has been developed based on the presentday scenario as the people usually run out of phone and laptop charging while travelling. At such times there is literally no way of charging your phone laptop in an outdoor environment, the solar and wind energy is used in order to collect the solar energy and convert it into the electrical energy and also the vertical windmill is used in order to observe the flow of wind and collect it. These two are intertwined together in the system, and the energy produced by both power generators is stored in a battery. This battery source is now available for use according to the inverter. The system provides 2 types of outputs. 4 USB outputs for charging for laptop and mobiles. The model is built in such a way that a common man can afford and this project model will lead a step ahead for economical utilization.

This paper on "Smart Irrigation System" is develop to create an automated irrigation mechanism which turns the pumping motor ON and OFF on detecting the moisture content of the earth using the soil moisture sensor without the intervention of human. The benefit of employing these techniques is to decrease human interference and it is quite feasible and affordable. This Smart irrigation system project is using an arduino micro-controller, that is programmed to collect the input signal according to moisture content of the soil and its output is given to the op-amp that will operate the pump.

L’ottimizzazione si basa sul metodo dell’adattamento del modulo in frequenza correntemente impiegato nella fase di messa a punto dell’azionamento in sito. Sulla base del modello matematico del sistema convertitore-motore, si descrivono i circuiti e le prove da effettuare per determinarne le caratteristiche, in relazione ai quali sono calcolati i parametri del regolatore (PI) di corrente e di velocità: guadagno e tempo di integrazione. Infine i rilievi sperimentali compiuti su un sistema reale confermano la validità del metodo nei suoi presupposti teorici.

Purpose: To develop system, consisting of controlled DC Motor with two pushbuttons. Specifically, the direction of rotation (clockwise or counter-clockwise) should be defined with pressed pushbutton1 or pushbutton2. When one is pressed, DC motor rotates clockwise, when the other is pressed, DC motor rotates counter-clockwise. 
Application: Controlling of DC motor can be useful in every part of engineering task, whether industry related equipment or everyday life electromechanical tools. More complicated systems include elevators, cars, industry conveyors, etc.

Direct currents (DC) motors have been used in variable speed drives for a long
time. The versatile characteristics of dc motors can provide high starting torques which is
required for traction drives. Control over a wide speed range, both below and above the
rated speed can be very easily achieved. The methods of speed control are simpler and
less expensive than those of alternating current motors.

The design of intelligent  control systems has become
an area of intense research interest. A promising direction in the
design of intelligent systems involves the use of Fuzzy logic
controller to discover the abilities of intelligent control systems
in utilizing experience via rule-based knowledge.
      The most commonly used controller in the industry field is
the proportional plus- integral-plus- derivative (PID). PID
controller requires a mathematical model of the system while
Fuzzy logic controller (FLC) provides an alternative to PID
controller, especially when data are not available or partly
available for the system.
      For comparison purpose, three controllers PI, PID and FLC
have been designed and implemented in the MATLAB/Simulink
model to examine the performance of DC  motor with different
loads. The results show that the FLC give better response
compared to PI &PID controller.

— The research aim was to the study the intelligent soil moisture control system in agricultural green house based on Adriano Uno microcontroller automation control. This kind of intelligent soil moisture control system helps to control the moisture level of the field and supply the water if required. In this research embedding a control system into an automatic water pump controller depend upon the moisture of the soil. This system also ability to detect the level of methane gas in the green house. The intelligent soil moisture control system in agricultural green house designed in the research had wonderful effort of man-machine interface, it is very simple, cheep and convenient high degree of automation system. Not only that this system helps to prevent wastage of water. This system is a prototype, which makes this self-sufficient, watering itself from a reservoir. Solar energy is used in this system makes it more environment friendly.
