Falls cause injury and death for persons of all ages, but risk of falls increases markedly with age. Hospitalization further increases risk, yet no evidence exists to support short-stay hospital-based fall prevention strategies to reduce patient falls.

Resumen: El presente texto intenta dilucidar los elementos constituyentes de la poética de Roberto Friol, uno de los poetas más importantes de la generación de los 50 y, en general, de toda la tradición poética en Cuba. En un primer momento, se analiza la separación de la poética de Friol del pensamiento poético del padre literario que se personifica en la Poética de Vitier, a partir de las redefiniciones de los tópicos de la caída y la redención cristiana y, en segundo lugar, de la palabra poética en su imbricación al flujo Indivisible de la Palabra de Dios. En tales pasajes se comprueba la afiliación del poeta fuerte a la línea central de la tradición moderna que distingue al hombre como medida de todas las cosas; en oposición a la ideología recesiva y tradicionalista de Orígenes que cree en la supremacía de la Palabra de Dios y, por tanto, entiende la Caída como un redescubrir de los esplendores de la creación. En un segundo momento, se dedica a evidenciar la sustancia paralela de los movimientos de desvío y corrección por los que intenta fijar su impronta el poeta fuerte con los matices de inmovilidad y reflujo arquetípico del símbolo. A partir del paradigma fuego se analiza el constante camino de ganancias y retrocesos por el que esta poesía oscila en una amplitud de onda que va del extremo sosegado que se revela en un estado de seguridad postrera y convencida en cierto tipo de redención a partir de la memoria reminiscente; hasta el herético filón donde la visión de la nada supone el momento en que el poeta se engendra a sí mismo.

Abstract: This  work  tries  to  elucidate  the  constituent  parts  of  Roberto  Friol’s  poetics,  one  of  the  most  important  poets  from  the  1950’s  generation  and,  generally,  from  all  the  poetic  tradition in Cuba. First, the separation of Friol’s poetic from the poetic thinking of the literary father personified on Vitier’s Poetics is analyzed, through the redefinitions of the Christian fall and redemption topics and, secondly, of the poetic word on its interweaving to the Indivisible flow of the Word of God. On such passages the poet’s affiliation to  the  central  line  of  the  modern  tradition  that  recognizes  man  as  the  measure  of  all  things  is  proven;  opposed  to  the  recessive  and  traditionalist  ideology  of  Orígenes  that  believes on the supremacy of the Word of God and, therefore, understands the Fall as the rediscovering of the creation splendors. At a second stage, he devotes to show the parallel substance  of  the  turning  and  correction  movements  by  which  the  poet  tries  to  fix  his  mark with the nuances of immobility and the archetypical flow of the symbol. From the fire paradigm it is analyzed the constant way of gains and recoils by which this poetry swings in a wavelength range that goes from the calm extreme that reveals itself in a state of last safety and convinced on certain type of redemption from the reminiscent memory; until the heretical vein where the vision of nothingness assumes the moment when the poet engenders himself.

Anlamın ne olduğu farklı disiplinlerde çalışan araştırmacıların cevabını aradığı en önemli sorulardan biri olmuştur. Anlamın ne olduğu ve nasıl inşa edilebileceği sorusunu soran Ferdinand de Saussure, Roland Barthes, Julia Kristeva, Jacques Derrida ve Friederich Nietzsche gibi Batılı kimi dilbilimciler ve felsefeciler göstergeden başlayarak varlık, metin ve okuyucuya kadar uzanan konularda önemli tartışmalar yapmışlardır. Neticede bu uzun serüven nihilizme kadar uzanmıştır. İşte bir makalenin sınırlı kapsamında, bu serüven bazı boyutlarıyla ortaya konulmakta; dili oluşturan göstergelerin nasıl çağrışım gücünü yitirdiği, metnin öz bir metin olmaktan çıktığı, yazarın devre dışı kaldığı gibi hususlar üzerinde durulmaktadır.
