In this paper the Synchronous Reference frame PI-based control method for generating the reference signals for the Voltage Source Converter of Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) is presented. The method relies on the performance of the Proportional-Integral (PI) controller for achieving the best control performance of the SAPF. To improve the performance of the PI controller, the feedback path to the integral term is introduced to compensate the winding up phenomenon due to the integrator. Using Reference Frame Transformation, reference signals were transformed from c b a stationery frame to q d 0 rotating frame. Using the PI controller, reference signals in q d 0 rotating frame were controlled to get the desired reference signals for the Pulse Width Modulation. Using MATLAB/SIMULINK, the 5 th , 7 th , and 11 th harmonics were used to test the proposed Active Power Filter with improved PI controller resulting in harmonic content down to 3.87%.

Abstrak-Percobaan Pulse Width Modulation Sebagai Pengatur Resistansi Sensor Cahaya ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) terhadap nilai resistansi sensor cahaya, membandingkan nilai resistansi sensor cahaya berdasarkan perhitungan nilai ADC dan pengukuran multimeter, mengetahui karakteristik sensor cahaya. Prinsip dari percobaan ini yaitu rangkaian pembagi tegangan. Pada percobaan ini, diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu Pada percobaan ini, diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu hambatan LDR berbanding terbalik dengan intensitas cahaya yang diterimanya. Dari perubahan nilai resistansi LDR ini, dapat diidentifikasi naik turunnya intensitas cahaya. Adapula nilai error terbesar dari perbandingan nilai resistansi sensor cahaya berdasarkan perhitungan nilai ADC dan pengukuran multimeter adalah 25,19%.

A Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm is important to increase the output efficiency of a photovoltaic (PV) generate system. This paper proposes a P&O algorithm to get the maximum efficiency. The MPPT algorithm is impossible to quickly acquire the maximum power point (MPP), and the tracking course is very difficulty under different weather conditions. The Maximum power point Tracker (MPPT) algorithm based on P&O. The algorithm uses the power as the control variable based on the perturbation and observation method. A better response for the system under rapid atmospheric condition variations like changing the temperature & insolation is obtained by increasing or by adjusting the duty cycle or the execution speed.
