Статья посвящена предварительным результатам работ по изучению казахских родов юга Челябинской области. Источником для исследования послужили кириллические тексты надгробий середины XX - начала XXI в. В результате исследований появилась возможность выделить основные рода и родовые подразделения казахов, захороненных на территории юга Челябинской области в указанный период.

The Mongolic-speaking Kalmyks currently inhabiting the steppes of the Volga region have Central Asian ancestry and are organized into the tribal groups. The genetic relationships among these tribes and their origin have remained obscure. We analyzed 17 short tandem repeat and 44 binary polymorphisms of Y-chromosome in 426 individuals mainly from three major tribes of the Kalmyks (the Torguuds, Dörwöds and Khoshuuds). Among these tribes, the Dörwöds and Torguuds, as well as the Kalmyks collectively as an ethnic group, showed relatively close genetic affinities to each other and to the Mongols and Altaian Kazakhs, whereas the Khoshuuds were clearly separated from all of them, gathering with the Manchu, Tibetans or Evenks (depending on the algorithm used to calculate genetic distances). The genetic results also indicate that paternal gene flow from East Europeans to the Kalmyks is very little, despite their cohabitation in the North Caspian Steppe during the last 380 years. The occurrence of unique cluster of N1c-Tat haplotypes in the Khoshuuds, which dates to about 340 years and is likely to have East European ancestry, is considered as a result of interethnic contacts occurred soon after the appearance of the Kalmyk tribes in the Volga-Ural region.

Kazakistan Sineması’nın tarihini ve ideolojik söylemini ele alan bu kitap üç bölümden oluşmaktadır.

Birinci bölümde ideoloji kavramı üzerinde durulmuş; kavramın ortaya çıkışı, ideoloji tanımları ve ideolojinin tarihsel süreci ortaya konulmuştur. İdeolojinin doğasından ziyade siyasi ideolojilerin rolü ve etkileri üzerinde durulan bu bölümde, etki alanı geniş siyasi ideolojiler genel hatlarıyla anlatılmıştır. Sonrasında ideolojinin sanat ve sinemayla ilişkisi, SSCB ideolojisi, SSCB ideolojisinin sanat ve sinemayla ilişkisi ortaya konulmuştur.

İkinci bölümde Kazakistan sinemasının tarihi üzerinde durulmuştur. Kazakistan’da sinemanın başlamasından Stalin’in ölümüne kadarki var olma evresi, Thaw dönemindeki gelişme süreci, sonrasındaki duraklama dönemi ve glasnost-perestroyka politikalarının sağladığı özgürlük evresi SSCB dönemine ait tarihi süreç olarak ele alınmıştır. Bağımsızlık sonrası Kazakistan sineması ise 2018 yılına kadarki gelişmeleri de kapsayacak biçimde tek başlıkta incelenmiştir.

This paper proposes an account for the four auxiliaries in Kazakh that express the imperfective aspect. The main factors – the auxiliary, the main verb, their inflections and the aspectual specifications reveal a complicated system, which can be captured with an appropriate monotonic, multiple inheritance type hierarchy using online-type construction with the implementation of Pāṇinian competition. This analysis sheds light to a very different auxiliary system that we find in Indo-European languages.

Kazakh Family Engagement in Early Language and Literacy Learning: A Case Study in Urban Kazakhstan In the post-Soviet Kazakhstan, literacy appears to be perceived by urban Kazakh families and communities as a product not a process and continues to be referred to as a set of skills of reading and writing to be taught primarily at schools rather than as a social practice to be exposed at home. This qualitative case study examines home literacy practices of one Kazakh family from Central Kazakhstan and the family members’ perspectives on their child’s emergent literacy practices. This study is guided by the following two research questions: How do families perceive their child’s emergent literacy and language practices?
