The core of the program is that every madrasah is required to target its students to memorize the Quran at least one juz before graduating from studying at the madrasa. This paper describes and evaluates the mandatory tahfȋẓ program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Yogyakarta which has been running since 2016. The approach used is quantitative-qualitative. Data were collected using observation techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that through the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, and product) the mandatory tahfȋẓ program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Yogyakarta is running well. This paper reports the development and alpha testing of a mobile application called “EzHifz” for Quran memorization based on the VARK learning style. The application received positive feedback for user acceptance testing and heuristic testing. The Fleiss kappa coefficient (κ) results for user acceptance testing show a very good level of agreement (κ = 0.850). Heuristic testing results show that κ = 0.731 for content, manual guide, memorization activities, performance information, and tasmik assessment attributes, while κ = 0.727 for presentation design, interactivity, multimedia elements, attraction, and motivation attributes. These results show a good level of agreement, which indicates that the EzHifz application meets the requirements of design and development based on the attributes evaluated. The muraja'ah method is one of the activities of repeating the memorization of the Qur'an or the activity of continuing the next recitation. This study aimed to determine the application of the method of muraja'ah or memorization of the Qur'an, the factors of excellence and weaknesses in Ma'had Tahfidzul Qur'an Umar bin Khattab Banjarmasin. To be able to answer the questions of this study, a series of data collection through field observation, in-depth interviews of a number of students and religious teachers, and literature review were carried out. Then to make this data easy to understand, the process of analyzing the description in simple analysis (coding, revision and presenting the theme) was passed through. Finally, we found empirical evidence that the application of the method of learning to read the Koran called muraja'ah was very effective in helping students read and memorize the Koran through listening to fellow students and female students with female teachers. The results of this study inform that this method is effective and can be an alternative way to succeed in memorization because every female student has the opportunity to deposit her new memorization to the ustadzah (female teacher). Besides that, santriwati can do muraja'ah or memorization beforehand which is listened by santriwati before being deposited to the cleric. While the superior factor is the muraja'ah method allows satriwati to practice with fellow classmates even without being heard by Ustadzah. While the weakness factor is that the verses that have been memorized are often misread magrat and intonation due to the practice of memorizing fellow students when ustazah is receiving other santri deposits/submision. Kemudian maklumat dan data tersebut diolah dan disimpulkan berdasarkan analisis kes yang diperolehi dengan melihat kekurangan dari sudut peruntungan undang-undang dan pelaksanaan yang timbul sama ada dari pihak umara' (pemerintah) mahupun pusat-pusat tahfiz itu sendiri. Di akhir penulisan, pengkaji mengemukakan beberapa cadangan agar institusi tahfiz di negeri Johor mempunyai piawaian standart sama ada dari sudut hafazan, kurikulum, pengurusan dan hala tuju institusi dan pelajar.

This type of research can be classified as field research, descriptive qualitative in order to know the quality of tahfiz learning design in Khoiru Ummah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used is qualitative method with interview and documentation technique. The result of the research shows that Khoiru Ummah Integrated Islamic Elementary School, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta has concern for the quality of tahfiz learning design and this has been proven by several awards produced by the school. Khoiru Ummah Integrated Islamic Elementary School even got a good predicate from the community in akhlaq, the quality competence of tahfiz learning design in the implementation of elementary school management since the establishment of Khoiru Ummah Integrated Islamic Elementary School 6 years ago.
