Memorizing the Qur’an is the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, may peace be upon him. The most crucial part of remembering the Quran is the process of learning. In general, this activity is conducted privately memorizing, one teacher for one student. One obstacle of memorizing the Quran is the limited number of teachers and many students. This private model undoubtedly ineffective. The teacher is difficult to handle the activities. Also, the teacher cannot control the student to memorize more verses because teachers must hear one by one to the student’s reading voice. Information technology has the potential benefit to innovate the learning models of memorizing the Quran. In this study, we develop a learning model using mobile technology. We design mobile learning that students can memorize independently; however teachers can still listen to reviews their reading sample, evaluate, and give guidance. The Tahfiz al-Quran education in Malaysia is experiencing growth and has become a preferred choice among the Malaysian community. Officially introduced in 1966 by YAM Tengku Abdul Rahman, Tahfiz education began with the appointment of Dato' Haji Mohd Noor bin Ibrahim as the first principal at Maahad Tahfiz al-Quran Wal Qiraat. Dato' Haji Mohd Noor Ibrahim served as the principal for two years, from 1966 to 1968, before assuming the position of Mufti of Kelantan. Subsequently, Haji Hassan bin Ismail assumed the role of principal at Maahad Tahfiz al-Quran from 1970 to 1978. During his nearly eight years as principal, Haji Hassan Ismail continued the ideology of Dato' Haji Mohd Noor bin Ibrahim in Tahfiz Education and implemented his own strategies. Mandatory tahfȋẓ is a program initiated by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion Affairs Yogyakarta Province. The core of the program is that every madrasah is required to target its students to memorize the Quran at least one juz before graduating from studying at the madrasa. This paper describes and evaluates the mandatory tahfȋẓ program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Yogyakarta which has been running since 2016. The approach used is quantitative-qualitative. Data were collected using observation techniques, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study show that through the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, and product) the mandatory tahfȋẓ program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Yogyakarta is running well. In terms of the context evaluation, 5% of madrasas include tahfiz in their vision and mission. The program does not have full parental support. Degradation of morals or moral decadence has attacked young generations, especially college students. Therefore, this paper aims to find out forms of moral decadence found in college students. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, the data were collected through direct interviews with ten informants (college students) by using the purposive sampling technique. To strengthen interview data, the writer performed passive participation observation by coming directly to the observed location. All results of the interview were analyzed using Milles and Hauberman’s pattern. The research found nine forms of moral decadence in college students. Learning to memorize the Quran presents a challenge. This paper reports the development and alpha testing of a mobile application called “EzHifz” for Quran memorization based on the VARK learning style. The application received positive feedback for user acceptance testing and heuristic testing. The Fleiss kappa coefficient (κ) results for user acceptance testing show a very good level of agreement (κ = 0.850). Heuristic testing results show that κ = 0.731 for content, manual guide, memorization activities, performance information, and tasmik assessment attributes, while κ = 0.727 for presentation design, interactivity, multimedia elements, attraction, and motivation attributes. These results show a good level of agreement, which indicates that the EzHifz application meets the requirements of design and development based on the attributes evaluated. Purpose of the study: The objective of the study was to analyze the perceptions of tahfiz students in understanding the meaning of the verses and their knowledge of the Arabic language syntax and morphology in memorizing the Qur’an. Design/methodology/approach: For this article, the study sample is comprised of 30 tahfiz students at the Azhar Institute of Qiraat in Shobra, Cairo, Egypt. They were chosen as a minimum sample of 30 population tahfiz students who had followed an Arabic Course in Malaysia. The survey method uses a Likert scale-based questionnaire which measures the levels of understanding among tahfiz students, which includes the overall mastery of Qur’anic understanding and the structure of the Arabic language’s syntax and morphology. The enthusiasm in the Tahfidz House (TH) education program especially for children shows an increasing trend in Padang, a modeling city in developing Islāmic character for children. The purpose of this study was to investigate the Tahfidz House program trends development in early childhood in Padang. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection tools, namely inter- views, direct observation, and document analysis. Purpose of Study: The present research aimed to find out whether memorizing Quran (tahfidz Quran) affected cognitive intelligence in kindergarten students. The research was conducted at Mardisiwi Islamic Kindergarten, Surakarta, Indonesia. The population consisted of a student group at the kindergarten. The purpose of this study is to find out genuinely about the problems of non-resident Islamic elementary students who attend the Tahfizdul Qur'an program. It is well known that the Quranic sanad is one of the three main conditions in accepting the authentic of Quranic recitations (also known as qiraat). In the beginning, the Quranic sanad was recorded on a piece of paper as an important document confirming that one had finished reading the Quran in front of the teacher and had completed all knowledge related to qiraat. The muraja'ah method is one of the activities of repeating the memorization of the Qur'an or the activity of continuing the next recitation. This study aimed to determine the application of the method of muraja'ah or memorization of the Qur'an, the factors of excellence and weaknesses in Ma'had Tahfidzul Qur'an Umar bin Khattab Banjarmasin. To be able to answer the questions of this study, a series of data collection through field observation, in-depth interviews of a number of students and religious teachers, and literature review were carried out. Then to make this data easy to understand, the process of analyzing the description in simple analysis (coding, revision and presenting the theme) was passed through. Finally, we found empirical evidence that the application of the method of learning to read the Koran called muraja'ah was very effective in helping students read and memorize the Koran through listening to fellow students and female students with female teachers. The results of this study inform that this method is effective and can be an alternative way to succeed in memorization because every female student has the opportunity to deposit her new memorization to the ustadzah (female teacher). Besides that, santriwati can do muraja'ah or memorization beforehand which is listened by santriwati before being deposited to the cleric. While the superior factor is the muraja'ah method allows satriwati to practice with fellow classmates even without being heard by Ustadzah. While the weakness factor is that the verses that have been memorized are often misread magrat and intonation due to the practice of memorizing fellow students when ustazah is receiving other santri deposits/submision. Institusi pendidikan tahfiz di Malaysia semakin mendapat perhatian sama ada di kalangan masyarakat mahupun pihak pemerintah. Namun di sebalik kewujudan madrasah atau maahad tahfiz tersebut timbul beberapa isu yang yang berkait. Oleh itu kajian kecil ini dijalankan bagi meninjau isu-isu berkaitan dan seterusnya membuat beberapa cadangan bagi menangani isu-isu tersebut. Kajian yang dijalankan ini adalah menggunakan kaedah analisis kes dan temubual dari responden yang terdiri dari pegawai Jabatan Agama Islam dan Pengetua atau Mudir pusat tahfiz. Maklumat dan data yang diperolehi adalah berdasarkan sumber autoriti iaitu data Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri. Selain itu sumber surat khabar juga menjadi salah satu rujukan terutama isu-isu berkaitan. Kemudian maklumat dan data tersebut diolah dan disimpulkan berdasarkan analisis kes yang diperolehi dengan melihat kekurangan dari sudut peruntungan undang-undang dan pelaksanaan yang timbul sama ada dari pihak umara' (pemerintah) mahupun pusat-pusat tahfiz itu sendiri. Di akhir penulisan, pengkaji mengemukakan beberapa cadangan agar institusi tahfiz di negeri Johor mempunyai piawaian standart sama ada dari sudut hafazan, kurikulum, pengurusan dan hala tuju institusi dan pelajar.
