Mikrohistory

Stejně jako vedle obecných „velkých“ dějin stojí koncept mikrohistorie, tak vedle „velký“ dějin módy lze postavit každodenní oděvy sledované v jedné lokalitě napříč společenskými vrstvami.  Průzkumem lokálních památek, archeologického materiálu a textových pramenů se autorka pokusila zachytit proměny oděvu v oblasti západních Čech v období 15. až 17. století a aplikovat na výzkumný materiál metody historické antropologie. Součástí knihy jsou rovněž popisy používaných historických textilních technik, textilních materiálů a obsáhlý katalog citovaných předmětů a ikonografie.

Egy kísérleti könyvet tart kezében az olvasó. Olyan emberek élettörténeteit kívánja bemutatni, akik átélői, tanúi voltak a második világháború utáni telepítéseknek. Magyarországi németek, felvidéki és földmunkás magyarok ők, akiknek nagy része az állam szemében bűnösnek számított, és ezért elűzték őket szülőföldjükről, hogy egy számukra másik világban kezdjék újra életüket. A mű célja, hogy egy Buda környéki község szemszögén keresztül mutassa be a történéseket. Kísérletünkhöz három nagyítót használtunk, amely a kötet három pillérét is jelenti. Az elsőben a nagypolitikát igyekszünk áttekinteni, a másodikban pedig azt a régiót, ahol ezek az események lezajlottak. A har-madik rész szól a tanúk sorsáról. Történelmi esszénk témája tehát az elveszett és megtalált haza története, amelyet ezek az emberek csak hazáiknak tudnak nevezni.

Dieses Buch ist ein Versuch. Vorgestellt werden darin die Lebensgeschich-ten der Menschen, die Überlebende und Zeugen der Siedlungen nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg waren. Sie sind die Ungarndeutschen, die Oberländer und die ungarischen Bauern, die vom Staat als Schuldige betrachtet waren, deswegen wurden sie aus ihrer Heimat vertrieben und dadurch zu einem Neubeginn in einer fremden Welt gezwungen. Das Ziel dieses Buches ist, die Ereignisse aus dem Aspekt einer Gemeinde im Ofner Bergland zu zei-gen. Der Versuch nimmt drei größere Themen unter die Lupe, welche als Basis dienen. Das erste Thema beschäftigt sich mit der großen Politik und im Zweiten wird die Region vorgestellt, in der sich die Ereignisse abspielten. Das dritte große Teil thematisiert die Schicksale der Zeugen. Es handelt darüber, woher sie kamen und wo sie ankamen. Das Thema unseres historischen Essays ist also die Geschichte der ver-lorenen und wiedergefundenen Heimat, an der diese Menschen nur als ihre Heimatländer denken können.

CITY AND OCCUPATION: EVERYDAY LIFE IN ČAČAK IN 1941

The German occupation in 1941 changed people’s everyday lives in many different ways. In addition to brutal force, many less visible forms of
disciplining the population were used, with numerous subtle forms of violence that complemented cruel shapes of repression. Many hidden forms of occupation can be examined on the example of Čačak, a medium-sized city in Serbia in 1941. Restrictions on movement, gatherings and free trade have become important symbols of domination. Taverns and streets were no longer places of freedom, and the power of the German army was confirmed by the unlimited right to use all city resources, exercise all forms of entertainment and bodily pleasures that were severely limited or forbidden for the local population. The role of collaborators in disciplining the local population was very important because subordination to the sovereign authority of the German military force meant accepting the orders of the city administration, starting from respecting the most trivial prohibitions such as walking on grass in the park, to gatherings on the street. The arrest and imprisonment could immediately turn into cruel punishments because the Germans systematically carried out the shooting of hostages due to the death of their soldiers in the rebels’ armed actions. The awareness that during the war the death penalty could be imposed even for the smallest offence permeated the entire society. This was the reason why they insisted on the strict forms of disciplining the population without open torture, but with a present notion that the threat could be applied, which in advance broke the people’s will to resist. The most important thing was for people to understand for themselves what was not allowed and to accept the imposed order of annulled freedom without protest and resistance, which brought the power of the occupiers to the most individual forms of behaviour and desires.

Jeżeli przyjmiemy, że Nowa Era potrzebuje historii jako specyficznego podejścia do przeszłości, to opowiadanie o niej wydaje się o tyle płodne, o ile stanowi sposób poznania siebie, "innego" i świata oraz o ile odzwierciedla i przyczynia się do "stawania się" nowego świata. Dlatego też historia potraktowana jest tutaj jako refleksja nad człowiekiem (filozofia) i jako opowieść, pokazująca, kim jest człowiek (antropologia) i jak to jest być człowiekiem (etyka). Takie deklaracje wynikają z wołania o aktywną postawę badacza w tworzeniu rzeczywistości i przyjęciu za nią odpowiedzialności. Książka ta włącza się także w "etyczny zwrot", który dosięgnął historię. Przenika ja tak ważne obecnie pytanie o "dobro historii": gdzie jest owo dobro co nim jest.

The principal aim of the article is the presentation of the fragment of life of Jadwiga Sapieżyna née Sanguszko (1830-1918), a very important part of life from the point of view of a young woman and wife, namely the period of engagement and first years after the marriage ceremony. It's a time of stepping into the adulthood, full of many events and experiences. The rhythm of everyday life of Jadwiga Sapieżyna has been shown in the light of ego-documents – the correspondence to her mother and her memories – presenting this period from the perspective of her experiences and reflections. The plan of a day and activities accompanying it have been discussed, taking into account the interests and abilities of this young noblewoman.

The purpose of the article is to present selected problems associated with health and
disease which were discussed in the correspondence of the Sapieha family of Krasiczyn. Only some problems were presented, such as those associated with the attitude toward doctors and their recommendations, as well as the attitude toward baths, blood-letting and vaccinations. The state of the health of children and the adult members of the family was partially discussed. An attempt was also made to reconstruct the patterns of behaviour which regulate the attitudes and decisions of the Polish aristocrats.

[Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wybranych zagadnień dotyczących zdrowia i chorób poruszanych w korespondencji rodziny Sapiehów z Krasiczyna. Przedstawione
zostały niektóre podejmowane w listach problemy, takie jak stosunek względem lekarza i jego zaleceń, a także kąpieli, upuszczania krwi i szczepień. Częściowo omówiono stan zdrowia dzieci oraz dorosłych członków rodziny, a także podjęto próbę
odtworzenia wzorów zachowania, które regulują postawy oraz wybory polskiej arystokracji.]
