W książce – z transnarodowej perspektywy – przedstawione są badania nad rozmaitymi wymiarami historii komunizmu w poszczególnych krajach (Białoruś, Bułgaria, Czechy, była Jugosławia, Litwa, wschodnie Niemcy, Mołdawia, Polska, Rumunia, Węgry, Ukraina) Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej.  W pierwszych trzech rozdziałach przedstawiono polityczne, ekonomiczne i kulturowe aspekty komunistycznej przeszłości tej części Europy. W czwartej części zamieszczono między innymi analizy współpracy między zachodnimi ruchami pokojowymi a wschodnimi dysydentami i rozmaite formy kontestacji społecznej, a w ostatniej - artykuły dotyczące studiów nad zbiorową pamięcią historyczną na Białorusi, Ukrainie i w Polsce .

„Naddniestrze. Historia – polityka – gospodarka”  to opracowanie przygotowane przez zespół polskich specjalistów ds. Naddniestrza, kompleksowo przybliżające problematykę tego państwa nieuznawanego. Publikacja umożliwia rzetelne poznanie najważniejszych zagadnień dotyczących historii, polityki, gospodarki i funkcjonowania Naddniestrza. Praca jest kierowana do osób, które w swej pracy lub życiu stykają się z tym parapaństwem i pragną zrozumieć fenomen jego funkcjonowania: biznesmenów, dziennikarzy, podróżników, a przede wszystkim wykładowców i studentów.

„Naddniestrze. Historia – polityka – gospodarka”  to opracowanie przygotowane przez zespół polskich specjalistów ds. Naddniestrza, kompleksowo przybliżające problematykę tego państwa nieuznawanego. Publikacja umożliwia rzetelne poznanie najważniejszych zagadnień dotyczących historii, polityki, gospodarki i funkcjonowania Naddniestrza. Praca jest kierowana do osób, które w swej pracy lub życiu stykają się z tym „państwem” i pragną zrozumieć fenomen jego funkcjonowania: biznesmenów, dziennikarzy, podróżników, a przede wszystkim wykładowców i studentów.

The volume “The Party’s and the Soviet’s staff from MASSR and MSSR (1924-1956)” is the result of the project of the young researchers  „The specificity and the role of the institutions and of the Soviet’s and Party’s staff from MASSR and MSSR (1924-1956)” (Strategic direction – The National patrimony and the development of the society), with the code 15.819.06.13F, supported by the Academy of Science from Moldova.
The projects’ team, - during 2015 consisted of seven members - Marius Tărîţă (coordinator), Lilia Crudu, Tudor Sclifos, Veronica Spînu, Denis Bulancea, Roman Russu, Rodica Nastas. The main goal of the book was to show in a larger perspective the problem of the staff and of the institutions in MASSR and MSSR. The book has two sections – Studia and Studia Documentaria. It contains the papers presented at the conference of the young researchers held at the Institute of History in Chisinau, on  October 22, 2015.

Клад из c. Стижок является одним из крупнейших депонирований серебряных монет XIV–XV вв., найденных на исторической территории Великого княжества Литовского. Деньги из глиняного горшка имеют отношение к истории многих современных государств: Литвы, Беларуси, Молдовы, Украины, Польши, Чехии, Румынии, Италии, Турции. Совокупность стран-эмитентов делает клад своеобразной и неповторимой энциклопедией средневековья. По нему можно проследить сложные процессы денежного обращения и международной торговли Европы с итальянскими колониями в Северном Причерноморье, исследовать влияние золотоордынской и крымско-татарской валюты на рынке Восточной Европы, выявить проникновение пражских, молдавских и валашских монет на территорию Великого княжества Литовского, установить особенности надчеканивания серебряной монеты в конце XIV — середине XV в.

In this article, authors analyzed the information given in the"Lists of the trans-Danubian immigrants, who have settled in Bessarabia". These lists were made up in 1818, as a result of work of the Commission scheduled by Dmitry Vatichioti, and guardian supervisor of Bessarabian Bulgarians, General Ivan Inzov. The aim of the commission was to set the exact number of Bulgarian immigrants settled on the private estates and state lands. Thereafter, under the prescriptions of these documents, and with the support of I. N. Inzov, trans Danubian settlers, have obtained certain rights and privileges. Studying this list, researchers aim to present two large colonists centers: Comrat Taraclia. Authors categorically exclude using in this period, the term "Gagauzians" for determination of a separate ethnic group, preferring the terms- trans-Danubian immigrants and Bulgarians. Primarily it is because they are found in lists. Secondly, it is taken into account the coinhabitation of all ethnic groups in the region during that period, without denying at the same time, Bulgarian ethnicity’s prevalence. Hence, analysis of lists revealed that within this period, the most caracteristical family type for those settlers was the nuclear one (consisting of a spouse couple with or without children). There have been identified families who had servants, especially if the woman or man was widowed. The study has shown that in both presented colonies families with at least 5 and 12 children predominated. Finally, the authors conclude that the birth rate in the colonies was high.

Rezumat
În articolul dat sunt analizate „Listele imigranţilor de peste Dunăre, stabiliţi în Basarabia”. Acestea au fost alcătuite în 1818, ca urmare a activităţii comisiei rotmistrului Dimitrii Vatichioti, sub supravegherea tutorelui bulgarilor din Basarabia, generalul Ivan Nichitici Inzov. Scopul urmărit de comisie consta în stabilirea numărului exact al imigranţilor bulgari care s-au aşezat pe pământurile moşiereşti şi cele ale statului. Ulterior, în baza acestor documente ultimii, cu sprijinul lui I.N. Inzov, au obţinut anumite drepturi şi privilegii. În urma studierii acestei listei, cercetătorii drept exemplu prezintă două centre mari ale coloniştilor: Comrat şi Taraclia. Tot aici, autorii exclud categoric folosirea, în această perioadă, a termenului „găgăuzi”, ca etnie aparte, preferându-l pe cel de bulgari sau imigranţi transdanubieni, în primul rând din cauza că acestea se întâlnesc în liste. În al doilea rând, s-au luat în consideraţie toate etniile ce conlocuiau în regiune în acea perioadă, fără a nega, în acelaşi timp, predominaţia etniei bulgare. Aşadar, analiza listelor a demonstrat că în această perioadă, familia la colonişti era nucleară (compusă dintr-un cuplu cu sau fără copii). Tot aici sunt depistate familii care aveau şi servitori, mai ales dacă femeia sau bărbatul erau văduvi. Analiza a arătat că pentru cele două colonii era caracteristică familia cu cel puţin 5 şi cel mult 12 copii. În final, autorii ajung la concluzia că în colonii, rata natalităţii era mare.

The Hoard of Medieval Coins from the Village Stizhok. In the spring of 2011, a clay pot was found in a field nearby the village Stizhok (Shumsk district, Ternopil’ region,Ukraine). The pot contained about 2500 silver coins struck in the Golden Horde, Crimean Khanate, Caffa, Principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia, and Lithuania. The significant part of oriental coins bears the Tartar, Moldavian and Lithuanian countermarks. Most likely, the treasure was hidden during the Tartar military expansion atthe end of 15th and beginning of 16th centuries.

Abstrakt Neutralność w Mołdawii traktowana jest przez władze państwa jako strategia, która mogłaby zagwarantować przetrwa-nie w środowisku międzynarodowym. Niemniej, mimo osadzenia w prawie pań-stwowym (w ustawie zasadniczej), Moł-dawia nie posiada gwarancji międzynaro-dowych dla swojego statusu neutralności, co wynika przede wszystkim z niekonse-kwentnej polityki zagranicznej. Mołda-wia stoi przed wyborem dwóch strategii: pierwszej, polegające na zacieśnieniu rela-cji z Zachodem; drugiej, na polepszeniu relacji z Rosją i mimo, że wybór każdej ze ścieżek wiązałby się z wysokim ryzy-kiem, wydają się one lepsze od polityki Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis 2020, T. 28, s. 77-101 Abstract Neutrality in Moldova is treated by the state authorities as a strategy that could guarantee survival in the international environment. Despite being referred to even in the country's constitution, Moldova's neutrality is a state not recognized by the international community, which is mostly due to an inconsistent foreign policy. Under such circumstances, Mol-dova is torn between two strategies: the betterment of the relationship with Russia, or tightening the cooperation with the West. Both strategies are problematic, yet they seem more adequate than the strategy of inconsistent neutrality pursued thus far.
