Since the late nineteenth century, it has embodied the economic and technological power of nations, the lifestyle, the dynamics of urban and territorial development, and it has acted as a national barometer of economic success and failure. This book explains how the car industry works and analyses the challenges both for the sector and for the economies that rely on the industry for jobs, growth, and innovation. It explores an industry that has been under severe pressure in industrialized countries for many years—factories have shut down, jobs have gone, and brands have disappeared—yet world production has never been so high, reaching new peaks annually. In 2014 we presented our research titled "Was Tesla photographed while reading Boscovich's theory?”. Namely, the photographs of Nikola Tesla, sitting in a chair and reading some book, have been presented very often in scientific, professional and popular literature, newspaper articles, at television and at Internet. It is stated that the book is "Theory of Natural Philosophy" of Roger Boscovich. In 2014, however, we did not find any confirmation of that statement. Now, in this article we present the evidences that the relevant book is “The Scientific Paper of James Clerk Maxwell”, but not Boscovich’s theory.

Global warming and the depletion of non-renewable natural resources have been a matter of concern for all countries alike in the past few decades. In his quest to try and tackle this issue along with an observation of the growth in the automobile industry, Martin Eberhard took up the task to build an eco-friendly sports car, and thus the company Tesla, named after the renowned scientist, Nikola Tesla, was conceived in the year 2003 (Eberhard). Another reason behind this was the awareness of the USA’s heavy dependence on the Middle East for its oil reserves and this could help the country be less dependent on other nations for its resources. Simultaneously, Elon Musk, a big name in the innovation game started to realize the potential in the electric vehicle market and thus became an investor and chairperson in Tesla motors and thus started a journey into the future from where there was no coming back. This essay attempts to analyze Tesla’s current and potential growth through Elon Musk’s innovative and strategic involvement in the company.

The hologram structure of the fractal type of our reality implies the existence of analogies so that the famous Tesla sentence: "Considering A Light as a sound wave ...", with which he begins his calculation of ether parameters really makes sense but also has a realistic physical basis. Analysis from the aspect of the KGE model showed that the air (k = -1) from our "here-now" reality is directly mapped in the "phase shifted" phenomenon (k = +9) that makes the elementary quantum of the etheric fluid  - "Tesla's gaseous medium". It has been shown that ether and akasha are not the same phenomenon because akasha is a more subtle energy form than ether and represents an even more primary substance or forerunner of the ether.

Electric Vehicles are looked upon when it comes to environmental safety, as well as technological advancement where Tesla is running at a fast pace in the race of innovation. This study shows the prospect of success of Electric Vehicles in India through the reference of Tesla Company. Electric Vehicles already captivated the heed of the Indian Government because of their various advantages in the long term. These cars will be safe in operation, dispensable servicing charges, and reduce the import of petrol in India. BOP will be affected after the import of electric cars instead of petrol. Good things take time to optimize themselves and in this case, they are competing with 150 years old gasoline cars. This study also encompasses the shortcomings that will be faced after the arrival of Tesla cars in India. These cars are reliable and economical however after putting efforts into R&D, its battery charging time is decreasing day by day. Now, the arrival of Electric Vehicles is inevitable in India.

To Nikola Tesla, probably more than to any other investigator belongs the greatest credit. In 1993 he publicly demonstrated wireless power before a meeting of the National Electric Light Association in St. Louis.In 1897 Nikola Tesla was the first to construct a vessel which could be controlled from a distance without connecting wires, a wireless controlled boat he called a "teleautomaton” which was demonstrated to the public during an electrical exhibition at Madison Square Garden. This automation was steered in obedience to guiding impulses of Hertzian waves sent out from shore. On Nov. 8, 1898, he was granted a United States patent for this invention. In this patent he mentions the use of all forms of control energy including electromagnetic induction, electrostatic induction, conduction through earth, water, and the upper atmosphere, and all forms of purely radiant energy.

The next major leap forward was Bill Brown’s rectenna helicopter in 1964 where he demonstrated a microwave powered helicopter that received all the power needed for flight from a ground based microwave beam, this may have been the first time that an aircraft did not carry an on board power source and flew solely from the power transmitted from the ground based transmitter!
Key to future applications of WPT (Wireless Power Transmission) or WiTricity as coined recently is the overall efficiency or ratio of power output to power input. In the 1969 to 1975 time period, Bill Brown managed a program that increased the overall efficiency, or ratio of DC power out to DC power in, to a JPL certified efficiency of 54%, several times greater than generally expected. He was also technical director of a JPL Raytheon program that beamed power over a distance of one mile to a rectenna which intercepted a portion of the beam and converted it to 30 kilowatts of DC power with 84% efficiency.
In a World first experiment on the 1stnd of December 2011, John R Iwaszko of AurumSolis Technologies in Melbourne Australia demonstrated a Free Flight of a Tesla Coil powered Flying Saucer! This experiment brings to life Tesla's dream of wireless powered flight, envisioned more than a century ago by Tesla.
By referring to Tesla’s Colorado spring notes, some of his receiver circuits utilise a low impedance resistance for a DC return path through a coherer and telegraph indicator which was the receiver’s electromechanical output transducer. Tesla used a battery but today a wirelessly charged and rectified super or Ultra capacitor can also allow the main or secondary capacitor to charge to a greater portion which has the same effect as an oscillator injected with negative resistance similar to “peak boost” which raises the effective Q and the important resonant rise of the voltage. The effective Q is then increased by a multiplicative factor, or Q multiplier. This narrows the selectivity curve and magnifies the circulating current, and has the same effect as making the detector stage regenerative, as with Armstrong’s super regenerative receiver patented in 1922. But Tesla’s sensitive detector is far simpler producing substantial gain from a simple circuit that only requires a few components, and works when adapted to wireless power transmission!
The device is basically a coanda style saucer shaped foam shroud with a helicopter within. The main receiving elements are combined to form a wireless resonant circuit. The receiving aerial is in the form of a ball, the oscillation capacitor that produce electrical oscillations and the main receiving loop coil is wrapped around the bottom hull of the saucer.
This small scale saucer shrouded helicopter flew solely by means of propulsive power from a ground base transmitter delivered by a Tesla Coil Transmitter with no onboard power supply or connection.

Pokazano je da etar i akaša nisu isti fenomen jer je akaša suptilnija energetska forma od etra i predstavlja još primarniju supstancu odnosno prauzrok postojanja etra !

This study investigates the energy related aspects of developing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations powered with solar photovoltaic (PV) canopies built on the parking infrastructure of large-scale retailers. A technical analysis is performed on parking lot areas located in the highest EV market coupled with charge station rates and capacities of the top ten EV. The results of a case study show a potential of 3.1 MW per Walmart Supercenter in the U.S., which could provide solar electricity for ~100 EV charging stations. In the entire U.S., Walmart could potentially deploy 11.1GW of solar canopies over only their Supercenter parking lots providing over 346,000 EV charging stations with solar electricity for their customers covering 90% of the American public living within 15 miles of a Walmart. This novel model could be adopted by any box store with the solar electricity sold for EV charging at a profit solving community charging challenges. In addition, however, the results for the first time indicate store owners could increase store selection and profit by providing free PV-EV charging for their customers with four mechanisms. Overall the results of this study are promising, but future work is needed to provide more granular quantification of the benefits of this approach.

The main purpose of this article is to present the legal problems of autonomous shipping. Therefore, the author proposes the classification of autonomous merchant ships; underling the difference between autonomous and unmanned vessels. This allows for extensive analysis of the law of the sea and international maritime law provisions applicable to autonomous and unmanned vessels. As a result, the regulatory barriers and difficulties in terms of compliance with the international maritime standards by the analyzed categories of vessels are presented.

What a beautiful and miraculous gift it was to meet Nicolai Levashov, who would become my healer and my teacher.   

Upon first stepping into his presence, I could feel his warmth, energy and caring. And upon being honored with becoming his student, I became aware of his broad knowledge. The magic stops being paranormal and transforms into knowledge through understanding of Laws of Nature. Nikolai taught us many things we did not know and could not imagine. He taught us how the universe was formed and developed, the real story of human development, and the true etiology of human disease and health.

As with the other students, I was curious to know how we humans could access the parts of our brains that we knew were there but lay dormant. Most of us had heard that we only use 2-5% of our brains. What we learned was that to increase our brain access took hard work and effort and the good fortune to have the help of a teacher and healer who could transform us. This good fortune took place not only for me, but for all his students in America. Nicolai Levashov, a great Russian Scientist, inventor, physicist, and master healer was that teacher.

Readers would be wondering by now what this article is trying to communicate. Well I want to discuss one of the greatest innovators of our century and how much he is contributing to mankind. I have been fascinated by Elon for over 3 years now since the release of the world-famous Tesla Model X. In case you don't know, it's an electric vehicle with the Falcon Wing back doors. Last Friday, authorities gave the go-ahead for Tesla's Gigafactory near Berlin. The fasttracked approval for the electric auto plant makes a mockery of environmental and labor standards-but suits the agenda of superficially "greening" German industry.

Electric vehicles are the greatest technology step that needs to be taken to reduce future emissions and needs of fossil fuels. This article will explain; history of electric cars, how electric vehicles work, what kind of mechanisms they have, charging and storage systems. It will also make comparisons between battery electric vehicles (BEV) and internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEV).

Teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la Eficiencia Energética (EE), en especial la referida a la energía eléctrica monofásica, de consumo domiciliario y comercial. El problema del impacto ambiental (huella de carbono) que se está generando, significa una oportunidad para el desarrollo de productos más eficientes en el consumo de la energía eléctrica (objetivo final). En clara orientación con esta línea ética de Dis. Ind., se trabajó con una metodología propia del Ecodesing, centrada en la quinta etapa del análisis del ciclo de vida (ACV): uso eficiente de la energía eléctrica. La finalidad fue desarrollar un motor sincrónico de tipo PMSM de 220 (voltios), 50 (Hz) de corriente alterna (AC); para ser utilizado en ventiladores, equipos de aire acondicionado y otros sistemas de refrigeración: forzadores de aire, etcétera. El resultado principal que se obtuvo fue la reducción de un 52% de la potencia activa (W), sin pérdidas de velocidad (revoluciones por minuto) de las aspas. Como conclusión final podemos decir que se produjo un ahorro del 58% consumo de la energía eléctrica activa (kWh).

Because this is one of the most significant experiences that every sentient and inspired person strives for in life. Just be happy. Long lasting, if possible-forever. That would be nice, wouldn't it? The argument of that is expressed like this: since photon is responsible for electron’s jump down onto lower orbital in atom, and I postulate before that Dark Energy is photon pressure, so there is a connection between this phenomenon and that through Einstein’s cosmological constant.

Никола Тесла всемирно известен как выдающийся сербский ученый и изобретатель, который оказал большое влияние на развитие современных систем электроснабжения переменного тока (AC). Однако менее известно, что его патенты в области связи представляют основу современных систем информационно-коммуникационных технологий. В этой статье  представлены наиболее важные патенты и результаты Тесла в области мобильной и беспроводной связи и интернет-услуг: патенты, касающиеся линий передачи, радиотехнологий, логических элементов и цифровой модуляции. Подробно проанализированы патенты, относящиеся к широкополосному спектру со скачкообразной перестройкой частоты (FHSS), ортогональному мультиплексированию с частотным разделением (OFDM) и беспроводной криптографии. Кроме того, представлены прогнозы Тесла на развитие коммуникаций,  которое стало возможным реализовать только почти через сто лет.

Ex vivo MRI of the brain provides remarkable advantages over in vivo MRI for visualizing and characterizing detailed neuroanatomy. However, automated cortical segmentation methods in ex vivo MRI are not well developed, primarily due to limited availability of labeled datasets, and heterogeneity in scanner hardware and acquisition protocols. In this work, we present a high resolution 7 Tesla dataset of 32 ex vivo human brain specimens. We benchmark the cortical mantle segmentation performance of nine neural network architectures, trained and evaluated using manually-segmented 3D patches sampled from specific cortical regions, and show excellent generalizing capabilities across whole brain hemispheres in different specimens, and also on unseen images acquired at different magnetic field strength and imaging sequences. Finally, we provide cortical thickness measurements across key regions in 3D ex vivo human brain images. Our code and processed datasets are publicly available at here.

Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) was an American scientist of Serbian origin. His greatest contributions to the scientific and technological progress of human civilization were the invention of the rotating magnetic field, induction motor, and polyphase alternating current, as well as the complete system of generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. He constructed a generator of high-frequency and high-voltage alternate currents, better known as the Tesla transformer, coreless transformer, or Tesla coil. He made numerous inventions and discoveries in the fields of lighting, radio technology, wireless transmission, and application of high-frequency currents in industry and medicine, as well as unusual but original inventions in mechanical engineering and aviation. In 1960 his name was given to the unit of magnetic induction in the International System of Units.

Tesla was born on 10 July 1856 in Smiljan (Military Frontier of Austria, today the Republic of Croatia) in a Serbian priest family. He received his education in Austria and, later, in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy (founded on 29 May 1867). He started school in Smiljan in 1862. A year later, the family moved to Gospic, after his father Milutin (1819-1879) was appointed pastor of the local Church of Saint George. There Nikola finished elementary school (Hauptschule) between 1863 and 1867. After that, he attended junior high school (Unterrealschule) in Gospic (1867-1870) and senior high school (Oberrealschule) in Karlovac (Carlstadt) (1870-1873). From 1875 to 1878 he was a student of the Polytechnic School (Technische Hochschule) in Graz, (1) and in 1880 he enrolled in the Charles-Ferdinand University in Prague. In the European part of his life, he worked in Maribor, Budapest, Paris, and Strasbourg.

He moved to the United States in June 1884 so that he could develop and materialize his inventive ideas more easily. He mostly lived and worked in New York, where he accomplished almost all of his inventions and discoveries.

Using Tesla's inventions and discoveries as a background, we study him as a person, a man with innovative gifts, comprehensive education, and strong charisma that helped him meet, collaborate, and socialize with some of the most distinguished people of the time who profoundly influenced contemporary society. One of them was the famous American writer, Samuel Langhorne Clemens (1835-1910), better known by his pen name Mark Twain.

Their friendship lasted nearly twenty years, from the beginning of the 1890s until Clemens died in 1910. Although they worked hard and changed places of residence, they did their best to keep the friendship and mutual respect. This assertion is supported by John Joseph O'Neill (1889-1953), a science journalist for the New York Herald Tribune and the first biographer of Tesla, who calls them "close friends," as does David Fears, in his four-volume chronology of Clemens's life. Traditional choice models perform poorly in understanding the determinants of the adoption of new products. First, data on pioneers and early adopters are biased towards specific performance characteristics of the product and the socio-demographic characteristics of the consumers. Second, surveys on the intention to buy underperform in detecting movements of those who do not intend to buy, who are the majority in the case of new products. Probabilistic choice models try to overcome this issue. By using survey data on electric vehicles, we theoretically contribute to this stream of literature and empirically estimate the impact of specific performance improvements and price reduction on the probability of consumers switching from non-intention to buy to intention to buy. Results show that price reduction is the most important triggering factor for the diffusion of electric vehicles, as it determines more than other factors the transition of consumers from the non-intention to the intention to buy an electric vehicle. The improvement in the driving range constitutes the second most important factor for low initial values of the stated intention to buy, while the possibility of recharging at home matters significantly more for consumers with high initial values of the stated intention to buy.

Ex vivo MRI of the brain provides remarkable advantages over in vivo MRI for visualizing and characterizing detailed neuroanatomy. However, automated cortical segmentation methods in ex vivo MRI are not well developed, primarily due to limited availability of labeled datasets, and heterogeneity in scanner hardware and acquisition protocols. In this work, we present a high resolution 7 Tesla dataset of 32 ex vivo human brain specimens. We benchmark the cortical mantle segmentation performance of nine neural network architectures, trained and evaluated using manually-segmented 3D patches sampled from specific cortical regions, and show excellent generalizing capabilities across whole brain hemispheres in different specimens, and also on unseen images acquired at different magnetic field strength and imaging sequences. Finally, we provide cortical thickness measurements across key regions in 3D ex vivo human brain images. Our code and processed datasets are publicly available at here.
