ÖZET

Türçede ek-fiilin (i-) ayrı bir yeri vardır. Çekimi diğer fiillerden farklıdır. Cümlede isim soylu kelimeleri yüklemleştirir veya birleşik kipli fiiller kurar. Bunların dışında bir de /-ken/ ekiyle bir zarf-fiil kurar.
Bu çalışmada, Kuzey Makedonya Türk ağızlarında ek-fiilin görevleri ele alınmıştır.
Bu görevler, üç gruba sığdırılabilir:
a)  Şimdiki/geniş zaman çekimi ekleşmiştir. Tüm diğer çekimlerde ayrı kullanılan ağızlar en yaygın ve en büyük grubu oluşturmaktadır. Birleşik kipli fiillerde birinci kip işaretleyicisi belirsiz geçmiş zamansa (/-miş/), ikinci kip işaretleyicisi her zaman i- fiiliyle beraber ayrı kullanılır. Birinci kip işaretleyicisi belirsiz geçmiş zaman olmadığı durumlarda, ikinci kip işaretleyicisi ek olarak kullanılabilir.
b) Bazı ağızlarda, devletin resmi dili olan Makedoncada ayrı kullanılan “сум” (“sum”) yardımcı fiile benzer bir şekilde, düşen ek-fiil ve şimdiki/geniş zaman kipinden sonraki şahıs ekleri bağımsız birer kelime olarak kullanılır.
c)  Batı ve güneybatı ağızlarında, standart Türkçeden çok farklı bir kullanım görülmüştür. Bu ağızlarda, ek-fiili isimlerin yüklemleşmesinde, daha doğrusu şimdiki/geniş zaman çekiminde bile kendini korumuştur.

SUMMARY

In Turkish, the copulative verb (i-) has a special place. The conjugation is different compared to other verbs. In the sentence, it predicates nouns or form verbs with compound conjugation. Apart from these, it also forms one gerundium with the suffix /-ken/.
In this study are discussed the functions of the copulative verb in North Macedonian Turkish dialects.
These uses can fit into three groups:
a) The conjugation of the present/aorist is affixed. In other dialects copulative verb is used separately. These dialects constitute the most common and largest group. In verbs with compound conjugation, if the first modal marker is the indefinite past tense (/-miş/), the second modal marker is always used separately with copulative verb. Where the first modal marker is not an indefinite past tense, the second modal marker can be used affixed.
b) In some dialects, person suffixes are used as independent words after the dropped copulative verb and the present/aorist tense. That’s similar to the Macedonian auxiliary verb “сум” (“sum”), which is used separately in country’s official language.
c) In the western and southwestern dialects, it is detected a very different usage compared to the standard. In these dialects, the copulative verb preserved itself even in predication of the nouns, as well as in present/aorist conjugation.

Although the Turkish dialects of Rumelia are considered as part of the
Anatolian dialects, they are now completely independent. According to the classification of the Turkish dialects of Rumilia by Gyula Németh, the Turkish dialects of Macedonia are considered a part of the Western Rumelian dialects. In this paper, the characteristics of the Turkish dialects of Macedonia are discussed starting from the 16th century work “Opera Nova de M. Pietro Lvpis Valentiano La qual insegna a parlare Turchesco” by Pietro Lupis Valentiano and estimated publishing date of 1520, then with the PhD thesis of Alpay İğci entitled as “The Characteristics of Western Rumelian Turkish in the 17th Century”, 19th century dictionaries of Gorgji Pulevski entitled as “Dictionary of Four Languages” and “Dictonary of Three Languages” published in 1873 and 1875 respectively, up to the modern day status. It has been concluded that from 16th century to the present, there are very few changes in the characteristics of the Macedonian Turkish dialects.

The number of Turkish speakers in the Republic of Macedonia is permanently decreasing. Turkish dialects in Macedonia are under heavy influence by the dominant Macedonian language, as well as other Indo-European languages (Albanian, Serbian, etc.). These influences could be seen in all linguistic levels: phonetic, morphologic, syntactic, semantic, phraseologic, etc. ‘Calques’ are the most used translation forms from Macedonian to Turkish.

This paper treats the verbs used by Macedonian Turks, which are made with Macedonian words or, in general, words used in Macedonian language.

The presentation will show this influence on morphological level (verbs made with Macedonian words + Turkish suffixes: struga+la-, klika+la-, etc.) and syntactic level (compound verbs made with Macedonian words + Turkish auxiliary verbs: dopişa[+]et-, glupira[+]ol-, etc.).

The Present-Day Situation of the Present Tense and Aorist in the Turkish Dialects in Macedonia

ABSTRACT

This paper discusses the present-day situation of the present tense and aorist in the Turkish dialects in the Republic of Macedonia.
The country is separated by the Vardar river. The characteristics of the Turkish dialects, roughly, also shows differences inside these boundaries. On the left bank morphological present tense and on the right bank morphological aorist predominates. Present tense suffixes in the northern dialects are /-i/, /-Ay/, /-y/ and in some eastern dialects /-iy/. These suffixes are used both as semantic present tense and as semantic aorist markers. In these dialects morphological aorist marker is almost never used. In the southern dialects, morphological aorist marker covers both semantic present tens and semantic aorist. In these dialects, definitely there is no morphological present tense marker.
Compared to standard Turkish, there is a shortage of the present tense and aorist marker variants.
In the negative forms of the morphological present tense always is used the /-y/ and in the negative forms of the morphological aorist, as it is in standard Turkish, always is used the /-z/ marker.

ÖZET
Bu çalışma; /+CA/ ekvatif durum eki, /+I/ üçüncü teklik iyelik eki ve /+A/ datif durum ekinden oluşan Türkçe /-CAsInA/ birleşik ekin morfosentaksı üzerinedir.
Araştırma, Türk edebiyatının 459 eserinden oluşan şahsi elektronik derlem üzerine yapılmıştır.
Elde edilen sonuçlar, bu birleşik ekin hem isim ve isim soylu kelimelere hem de fiillere geldiğini göstermektedir.
İsim ve isim soylu kelimelere geldiğinde, zarf yapar.
Fiillere geldiğinde ise, gerundium yapar.
Fiillerde, ekten önce /-mIş/, /-r/ ve /-yor/ ekleri gelebilir. Bu bağlamda, i- fiiilinin kullanımı çok sıktır.

MORPHOSYNTAX OF THE TURKISH /+CAsInA/ SUFFIX
(SUMMARY)

This paper discusses the morphosyntactic use of the Turkish compound /-CAsInA/ suffix, which is consisted of /+CA/ equative case suffix, /+I/ 3rd person possesive suffix and /+A/ dative case suffix.
The research is realized on a personal electronic corpus consisted of 459 books of Turkish literature.
The results shows that this compound suffix can be used both with nouns or nominal words as well as with verbs.
When it comes to nouns and nominal words, it makes adverbs.
When it comes to verbs, it makes gerunds.
When used with verbs, it’s used after the /-mIş/, /-r/ and /-yor/ suffixes. In this context, the use of the copular i- verb is frequent.

ÜSKÜP TÜRK AĞZINDA KİP EKLERİ

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Üsküp (Makedonya Cumhuriyeti) Türk ağzındaki bildirme ve dilek kip ekleri ve varyantları ele alınmıştır. Üsküp ağzında şimdiki zaman kipinin geniş zaman kipine yeğlendiği, geniş zaman kipinin çok nadir kullanıldığı, istek ve emir kiplerinin birbirine karıştığı, gereklilik kipinin ise morfolojik olarak değil de leksik unsurlarla yapıldığı örnekleriyle verilmiştir. Makedonya ve Rumeli’nin diğer Türk ağızlarında da olduğu gibi, Üsküp ağzında da eklerin varyantlarında eksiklik vardır veya varyantların kullanımında farklılıklar göze çarpmaktadır. Literatürde Üsküp ağzı hakkında çok az malzeme vardır.  Bunlar da kısmen doğru tespitlerdir ve genelde Rumeli ağızları kapsamında genellemeler çerçevesindedir. Çok ilginçtir ki, Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı Bölümü Makedonya’nın başkenti Üsküp’te (Skopje) bulunmasına rağmen, eriyip elden gitmesinler diye, şimdiye kadar hep Üsküp dışındaki ağızlar ayrıntılı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. Bugüne kadar Üsküp Türk ağzıyla ilgili belli başlı hiçbir çalışma bulunmamaktadır. Çeşitli diğer çalışmalarda Üsküp ağzının bazı özelliklerine değinilse de bunlar bu ağzın derli toplu özelliklerini görmek için yetersiz veya başkaları tarafından aktarmalı bilgilerdir.

MODAL SUFFIXES IN THE TURKISH DIALECT OF SKOPJE

Abstract

This paper discusses the temporal and modal suffixes and their variants in the Turkish dialect of Skopje (Republic of Macedonia). The preference of present tense over the aorist, the rare use of aorist, the mixed usage of optative and imperative mood, the build of necessitative mood not with morphological, but with lexical elements in the Skopje dialect are given with their relevant examples in this paper. In the Skopje dialect, as well as in the other Turkish dialects of Macedonia and Rumelia, the suffixes have fewer variants and the differences of the variants usages draw the attention. In the literature, there is almost nothing about this dialect. These findings are partly accurate and mainly discussed in the broader Rumelian dialects. It’s very interesting that even there is a Department of Turkish Language and Literature in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, there are plenty of detailed works of other dialects outside of Skopje, just because of fear of their disappearing. Nowadays, there is simply no major work at all about the Turkish dialect of Skopje. Even some characteristics of the dialect of Skopje could be found in various studies, these are not enough to catch the broader picture about the wide characteristics of this dialect, or mainly they are indirect information.

ÖZET

Bu çalışmada, bugün gereklilik kipi görevinde kullanılan /-mAlİ/
ekinin farklı görevleri ve bu ekle kurulan birleşik yapılar ele alınmıştır.

Elektronik formatta olan ve 442 kitaptan oluşan bilgisayar derleminde yapılan araştırmanın sonuçları, /-mAlİ/ ekinin kendi gereklilik anlamı dışında başka görev ve anlamda kullanıldığını göstermektedir. Bu görevler şunlardır:
a) İstek görevi;
b) İstek ve dilek görevi;
c) İstek ve emir görevi;
d) İstek, emir ve gereklilik görevi;
e) Emir görevi;
f) Şüphe görevi;
g) Kesinlik görevi.

/-mAlİ/ ekinin bazı birleşik yapılarda da yer aldığı görülmüştür. O
yapılar da şunlardır:
a) /-AcAk/ olmalı;
b) /-mİş/ olmalı;
c) /-r/ olmalı;
d) /-yor/ olmalı.

Bu birleşik yapılarda fiiller “tahmin” ve “ihtimal” görevlerini
kazanmıştır.

MORPHOSYNTAX OF THE TURKISH SUFFIX /-mAlİ/:
COMPUTER CORPUS BASED RESEARCH

ABSTRACT

This study discusses the different functions of the Turkish /-mAlİ/ necessitative marker and compound structures made with it.

The results of the study made on a computer corpus consisted of 442 books in electronic format shows that the /-mAlİ/ marker, beside of his own necessitative function, also is used in other functions and meanings. These functions are as follows:
a) Optative;
b) Optative and desiderative;
c) Optative and imperative;
d) Optative, imperative and necessitative;
e) Imperative;
f) Doubt;
g) Certainty.

/-mAlİ/ marker is also seen in some compound forms. These forms are as follows:
a) /-AcAk/ olmalı;
b) /-mİş/ olmalı;
c) /-r/ olmalı;
d) /-yor/ olmalı.

In these compound forms, verbs gains “prediction” and “possibility” functions.
