Introduction: Aging is accompanied by a decrease in the functional ability of the body thereby increasing the risk of falling in the elderly. In Indonesia it was reported that the incidence of falls in the elderly was 17%, and in Bali it was reported that 3% of the elderly who visited the Emergency Room at a hospital in Bali were caused by a fall. This study aims to find out whether twelve balance exercise is more effective in reducing the risk of falls compared to otago home exercise in older people. Method: This study using randomized pre and post test group design and using a simple random sampling technique. This study uses 36 people who were members of the elderly community in Banjar Tainsiat Denpasar. Group 1 was given twelve balance exercises, while Group 2 was given otago home exercise. Bawang merah yang diusahakan oleh petani di Kintamani Kabupaten Bangli Provinsi Bali dibudidayakan pada lahan yang sangat berbeda dengan lahanpertanian pada umumnya. Daerah ini merupakan lahan spesifik lokasi, merupakan lahan yang berpasir bekas eropsi gunung Batur. Pada lahan yang demiukian cendrung memerlukan saprodi yang tinggi, sementara produksinya rendah. This study aims to test the moderating effect of conscientiousness and agreeableness in the relationship between love of money and  tax evasion tendency. The population in this study is graduate student of accounting of Udayana University. The sample selection method is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique in order to obtain 85 people. Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA).  The result of regression analyses show that love of money is positively related to tax evasion tendency. Agreeableness is also found to moderate the relationship between love of money and tax evasion tendency but conscientiousness is not a moderator in this relationship.

Creation of new superior varieties of mango through the empowerment of local genetic resources requires information about the potential properties of mango germplasm, including DNA polymorphism and its genetic diversity. This research aimed to obtain basic data on DNA polymorphism, genetic relationship, genetic similarity level, and molecular accession of Bali’s unique local mango. Sampling was conducted in four regencies in the Province of Bali. DNA preparation, PCR, and microsatellite analysis were carried out at the Laboratory of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University. It found 44accessions of mangoes in Bali. The test results with 10 pairs of SSR markers showed that all primers produced polymorphic loci. There were 825 amplified DNA bands. Primer of AY31 produced the highest number of loci, which were 14 loci, while AY21 produced the fewest loci, i.e., 3 loci. Persons with visual impairments need a tool that can detect obstacles around them. The obstacles that exist can endanger their activities. The obstacle that is quite dangerous for the visually impaired is the stairs down. The stairs down can cause accidents for blind people if they are not aware of their existence. Therefore we need a system that can identify the presence of stairs down. This study uses digital image processing technology in recognizing the stairs down. Digital images are used as input objects which will be extracted using the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix method and then classified using the KNN-LVQ hybrid method. The proposed algorithm is tested to determine the accuracy and computational speed obtained. Hybrid KNN-LVQ gets an accuracy of 95%. While the average computing speed obtained is 0.07248 (s).

Petani umumnya menggunakan insektisida sintetik untuk mengendalikan S. frugiperda. Alternatif pengendalian lainnya yang lebih aman yaitu dengan menggunakan insektisida bahan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh ukuran partikel mineral sulfur terhadap S. frugiperda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode percobaan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Mangrove crab (Scylla sp.) is one of the commodities that live in the mangrove ecosystem and were developed through cultivation, but it encountered many obstacles in its development mainly due to parasitic infection. The purpose of this study is to determine the hemocytes profile and the phagocytic activity of the mud crab (Scylla sp.), in terms of parasitic infection and the water quality of the mangrove ecosystem in South Kuta, Bali. The results of study showed the Haemocyte Total Count (THC) of mangrove crab in the range of 1.8 to 2.57x106 cells/ml and Haemocyte Differential Count (DHC) mud crab shows the percentage of cells hyalinosit 14-32%, 24-38% and the semigranulocytes cells 39-58% of granulocytes cells, phagocytosis percentage of the mud crab (Scylla sp.) are in the range of 53%-66%, while the index of phagocytosis 1.81-2.11. The aim of this study to determine the Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) isolated from pickled tabah bamboo shoots can produce bacteriocins and the resistance to heat. This research was conducted in two stages, namely: 1) Screening of LAB isolates producing bacteriocin and 2) Testing the effect of heating temperatures of 80°C, 100°C and 121°C for 5, 10 and 15 minutes and without heating to bacteriocin resistance activity. In this study, the screening stage was carried out in two stages, namely: 1) antibacterial test with cell free supernatant and 2) antibacterial test with neutralized cell free supernatant. This research was conducted in the supporting Mangrove Munjang Forest in Kurau Barat Village, Koba Subdistrict, Central Bangka Regency starting in November 2018 until June 2019. The research method used was the survey method. The sampling method using simple accidental sampling for the determination of 100 respondents obtained using the Rao Purba formula, and the method of analysing travel costs using Pearson Correlation analysis. Phycoerytrin is a red pigment found in red algae. Red algae Gracilaria sp. potential to be a source of natural dye because it contains phycoerythrin. Phycoerythrin is unstable to light, pH, and temperature. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pH and temperature on the stability of the dye extract from the red algae Gracilaria sp. and determine the pH and temperature that best maintain the constancy of the red algae Gracilaria sp. extract during storage. Data collection was done by filling out questionnaires and observations. The observation sheet is made based on SNI-01-6160-1999 concerning Poultry Slaughterhouses (Badan Standarisasi Nasional, 1999). PT. Y is a company that produce various kinds of products which are made from natural ingredient or plants simplicia. One of it is product X which is often found defects on the packaging. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that caused defects on the product’s packaging and to propose improvement suggestions by using the six sigma method which consists of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) phases. The results of this research showed that the sigma level was 4.11. This study aims to determine the effect of the type of raw materials and particle size of biochar as a Rhizobium carrier on the formation of nodules in soybean plants. This research was conducted from September to November 2020 at the Experimental Station and Laboratory of Soil and Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Udayana University. Teknologi informasi merupakan hasil olah pikir manusia untuk mengembangkan tata cara atau sistem tertentu dan menggunakannya untuk menyelesaikan persoalan dalam hidupnya(Angga & Eko Budi, 2017), salah satu permasalahan yang muncul adalah permasalahan sampah, sampah yang ada dalam lingkungan memerlukan perhatian khusus oleh semua elemen masyarakat, sampah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik akan menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan selain itu juga akan mengambil banyak ruangan yang sebenarnya dapat digunakan untuk keperluan lain.
Data riset oleh Bali partnership yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2019 menunjukkan bahwa produksi sampah di Bali mencapai 4281 ton per hari, dimana 11 persen diantara jumlah tersebut mengalir ke laut. Dalam rangka mengurangi volume sampah yang ada, terdapat beberapa alternatif yang telah dilakukan, diantaranya adalah dengan penerapan bank sampah, Bank sampah merupakan tempat pemilahan serta pengumpulan sampah kering secara kolektif yang mendorong masyarakat untuk ikut berperan aktif di dalamnya, sistem ini melakukan penampungan, pemilahan serta penyaluran sampah daur ulang yang memiliki nilai ekonomi dalam pasar sehingga masyarakat mendapatkan keuntungan ekonomi dari menabung sampah (Utami, 2013),
masalah ini menjadi salah satu alasan mengapa sebuah sistem administrasi pengelolaan bank sampah sangatlah penting untuk dikembangkan serta di implementasikan ke dalam lingkungan masyarakat. Bank sampah merupakan konsep pengumpulan sampah kering terpilah yang alur manajemennya mirip seperti sistem perbankan, hanya saja bukan uang yang di tabung melainkan sampah, sebenarnya sudah banyak perusahaan maupun organisasi membuat konsep yang sama, tetapi perbedaanya adalah sistem tersebut tidak secara langsung di implementasikan ke dalam organisasi masyarakat, Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat langsung di implementasikan ke dalam lingkungan masyarakat terutama dalam organisasi masyarakat/desa adat yang ada di Bali, sehingga masyarakat tidak perlu jauh untuk mengantarkan sampah, hanya cukup untuk mendaftarkan diri dan pekerja bank sampah dalam tiap banjar dapat dengan mudah mengumpulkan sampah yang telah dipilah dan di bungkus oleh masyarakat sendiri di depan rumah/titik pengambilan sampah. Perlu diperhatikan juga bahwa Kesesuaian antara penggunaan sistem informasi dengan modul yang dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan suatu tugas, sesuai dengan model TTF, berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja end-user. Every one of us uses carbon dioxide emitting energy source in our daily activities. The purposes of this research were to obtain information on the level of household activities of carbon footprint and to obtain information on the most influential factor of household activities in Denpasar City. The research method employed was the descriptive quantitative. The analysis of the first purpose was obtained by the multiplication of emission factor and the use of LPG and electrical capacity. The analysis of the second purpose was obtained by implementing the analysis of doubled linier regression supported by employing SPSS version 16.00 program for Windows. The research result showed that the average of the total carbon footprint was as big as 138,037.02 g of carbon/month. Based on that average, the total of carbon footprint in Denpasar city with as many as 15,908 households was 2,195.89 ton CO 2 e/month. The statistic analysis test showed the factors that influenced the carbon footprint were the amount of household members, the amount of household equipments which needed LPG to operate, the amount of household equipments which needed electricity to operate and the duration of using electric equipments whose R 2 power was as big as 90%. The duration of using electric equipments had the highest correlation with the value of 62.70 %. It is suggested that households should use energy saving equipments such as LED products; the government should consistently promote carbon saving movements; and to future research to calculate carbon footprint by using DNPI carbon calculator, or by using software LEAP.
