L'ajout d'une treizième sibylle, Falconia Proba, à la liste canonique permet de lire la répétition textuelle, à l'œuvre dans la composition de centons, comme une poétique oraculaire.

“Verbum invisibile palpabitur : les Sibylles dans la seconde moitié du XVe siècle”, in The changing Tradition. Women in the History of Rhetoric, University of Calgary Press, 1999, p. 85-96.
A new sibyl, born from the Christian tradition of interpreting the classics, is added to the the twelve antic prophetesses : the inclusion of Falconia Proba into the list of the Sibyls is studied through the analysis of textual repetition as poetics and oracular means.
