What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a sweet and adorable romance with a happy ending. The book is praised for its cute and funny moments, likable characters, and witty banter. Some readers enjoyed the narrators, while others found them to be a bad fit for the characters. However, despite some minor flaws, the overall consensus is that this book is worth the read and leaves readers smiling at the end.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5To my surprise, I actually really liked this book. I listened to it and didn't LOVE the narrators, but they weren't terrible.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Ok, at first the female narrator wasn’t my favorite. I stopped listening but decided to give it another try. Give this book a chance because the character’s personality really comes through with this narration! She’ll grow on you!
Reviews say the character is immature…these are her internal thoughts. I know for a fact that what I present on the outside is so different than how I’m freaking out on the inside. Sometimes you want to yell at them to tell each other how they feel but her reservations are understandable. I really liked that this was clean but still relatable! Def recommend!1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This story was hilarious. Loved all the characters fast reading and loved loved the plot. Thank you for your art.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a great LOL romantic comedy. The lead was very relatable. An epic hot mess but very authentic. I could have dialed up the heat a bit, that would have perfected it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was adorable! Super predictable, but it was an easy listen and made me laugh a few times. The narrators were awesome!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I would give this 3 and 1/2 to 4 stars, mainly because I like a little more angst in my enemies to lovers books, but the narrator did a good job and the main characters were likeable. There was cute, funny and witty banter. Most of the moves against one another were good-hearted and prank-like. I found the female main character's thoughts to be entertaining. She had some good prank ideas. Worth the read.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It's been a while since i read a no/low spice romance and enjoyed ever second of the book. This book did that for me. This book will bring joy to your heart! Great chemistry, and loved both main characters!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Such a sweet cute book and really funny!! Really enjoyed it!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I do agree the female narrator was a bad fit for the character. She’s tolerable but she would suit a much older less sophisticated character. The story was cute , zero spice . But a mind numbing good little positive happy ending story .
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book! A sweet romance with enemies to lovers, a friend’s wedding and second chances!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really like how all the Sarah Adams books I have listened to leave you smiling at the end. If you are looking for a cute and happy ending romance book this is a good one to save to your library!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I’m only two chapters in and the author has me in a choke hold with the story already lol. Two chapters in and I’m already sucked into the story thanks to the second hand embarrassment of June. She is an adorable mess and I can’t wait to see what kinds of cringy predicaments she and Ryan find themselves in.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Only just starting the book but oh BOY do i hate this female narrator.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The FMC is childish and petty, the MMC is immature and overbearing. I cringed the entire time reading this until I finally decided to DNF because no one should be subjected to this pain.
