Principal Appointment Process

The BOT wish to thank the members of our community who came along on Monday night to share their thoughts on the skills and attributes that we should look for in a principal. We are a new board and this was a worthwhile exercise to get a feel for the community that we are representing. We have collated the views that were presented and will be referring to them as we work our way through the appointment process. Fntstic work Mrk nd Mckenzie! Help Wanted: At the rer of the school is ntive bush re tht ws developed over 20 yers go to beutify the school nd provide n re where students could lern little bout the ntive plnts of NZ. It lso hs three memoril plques for students nd stff. Over recent yers this re hs become overgrown nd is in need of some TLC. The Morrinsville Lions re going to help us to redefine the re by cutting out nd replnting. Prior to doing this we need someone with some expertise to dvise us of wht needs culling nd replnting; unfortuntely it is not n re of expertise for the Bord or stff. If there is someone in our community who could give us some pointers, we would relly pprecite it. Plese get in touch with either myself or Chrles Hume. We will be hving working bee erly Term 4 lso. Congratulations to the Gym Sport tem on their success lst week nd our Inter-Intermedite Boys Rugby on their hrd work on Tuesdy which erned them 2nd plce overll. Coast to Coast Sports Camp

All the best to our Coast to Coast Sports Team for their big week away at Totara Springs next week. Thanks to everyone who supported their fundraising efforts over the past few weeks, they managed to raise over $1,300.00 from selling milos through the canteen and two cake stalls in town. Thanks to the parents and teachers who gave up their time to organise these events. A special thank you to Nicholson Autos who were able to help out with sponsorship for Sports Camp. This is very much appreciated by our school, please support Nicholson Autos where possible!
