The shell side to be provided with an internal full width weir plate for liquid product removal. The shell side Inlet, Vapour outlet and Product nozzle sizes to be confirmed by the EPC Contractor Entrainment ratio = 5% - Kettle diameter and entrainment ratio to be confirmed by EPC Contractor. Saturated steam conditions vary from 38 to 40 barg (see BEDD RP 01-00-001) Shell pressure drop to be less than 0.015 bar for reboiler hydraulics. EPC Contractor to review if pressure drop if greater than 0.015 bar.
The operating condition of HP steam is 251 C at 40.5 barA. For efficient operation the steam is to be let down to the conditions shown.
