Answer ALL questions. Please state “TRUE” or “FALSE” for the following statements.

1. When you save a file, you overwrite the previous copy of the file.

2. To create a new worksheet, click the Insert Worksheet button at the right edge of the tab bar.

3. Clear formatting does not apply the default format to the new row or column.

4. AutoFill is to enter the second value in a recognized series and use the fill handle to extend the
series.

5. FillSeries is to enter the first two values in a series and use the fill handle to extend the series.
6. AutoComplete is to type the first few letters in a cell, and if a similar value exists in the same
column, Excel suggests the existing value.

7. Sum is to find the average of the numbers in the specified cells.

8. Maximum is to find the largest value in the specified cells.

10. Format painter is used to apply the different formatting to multiple cells.

11. To choose rows randomly, you can use the RAND function, which generates a random value
between 0 and 1, and compare the value it returns with a test value included in the formula.

12. RANDBETWEEN function generates a random whole number within a defined range.

13. VLOOKUP function has four arguments. A TRUE or FALSE value, indicating whether the
function should find an approximate match (TRUE) or an exact match (FALSE) for the
lookup_value.

14. A design template is a blank presentation with a theme, and sometimes graphics already
applied to it.

15. PowerPoint has five primary views: Normal, Slide Sorter, Reading View, Slide Show and
Normal Slide Sorter.
