Upper and lower front covers are manufactured of 2 millimeter
15 1 Aluzinc and covered with a polycarbonate foil. These foils
contain the mimic diagram of the main circuit with the position
indicators for the switching devices.

Side covers are made of 1,25 millimeter hot rolled steel and

the switch satisfies the disconnector requirements.
All SF6 enclosures have to pass the leakage test with Helium,

Due to the characteristics of Helium, this test will detect
any leakage. Leakage test and gas filling are made inside a

Horstmann Alpha-E
The Faulted-Circuit Indicator consists of an indicator unit
and three current transformers connected to the device. The
indicating unit contains the electronic circuit, three rectangu-
lar fags and a test and reset button. A local test and resets
by a push button is included as well as remote reset by d.c..
Horstmann Alpha-M
The indicator unit contains the electronic circuit, a miniature
generator with turning knob, and three rectangular flags. The
indication persists until it is reset by hand by rapidly turning
the turning knob to the left.
The trip current and the operation mode of scada contact are
also selectable by jumper.
The Short Circuit Indicator can be function-tested at any time
by rapidly rotating the turning knob to the right.
Horstmann SIGMA
The SIGMA type Short-Circuit Indicator serves to detect
short-circuits in medium-voltage networks.
The short-circuit indicator consitsts of one display unit in a
plug-in housing and three current transformers, which are
connected by measurement connection with the device.
