ENGLISH
• HVP (High Voltage Protection) function or OVCD (Over Voltage Cut-off Device) function: The UPS will cut off the input voltage by
itself once it is out of the range.
• Turning on the UPS without the battery: The UPS can start up normally without the battery supply as long as the AC is in the
normal condition.
• It is convenient for the user to set the parameters such as the output voltage & frequency, charge current and password by using
the LCD panel.
• Via the LCD, the user can get the clear and correct information of the UPS operation condition such as the load, input/output
voltage, input/output frequency, and battery voltage, etc.,
• The advantages of multi-segments fan speed-control: the efficiency increased, noise decreased and the life of the fan extended.
• CPU can record 5 times abnormal information of the UPS which enables to find out the correct diagnosis about UPS failures, to
increase the efficiency of maintenance.
• Users can use RS232 & MIDI UPS Expert to display information of the current UPS operation state and manage it. The SNMP
card is another way for users to communicate, monitor and control the UPS via the network.
• When the input voltage is within ±10%, the UPS can set the operation at the ECO MODE in purpose of improving the efficiency.
The UPS will turn to online mode if abnormal condition occurs.
• The self discharge time of battery can be set that extend the battery life.
• The output voltage can be set through LCD: 200 / 208 / 220 / 230 / 240 Vac
• Charger
► Boost charge & floating charge are available and there are 4 segments of charge current optional to be set, 0.7A/1.4A/3A/4A
(for one charger board) or 1.4A/2.8A/6A/8A (for two charger boards), in accordance with the actual condition to keep the battery
at full state, thus extending the battery life. (Floating charge voltage is 219.2Vdc, Boost charge voltage: 224Vdc)
Condition
ENGLISH
Input Voltage 100~156Vac 156~280Vac 280~300Vac
Load Linear de-rating 100% <90%
Input Frequency 40~70 Hz
► Battery Mode
The UPS will go into the battery mode when the input voltage & frequency are in abnormal condition.
When it is set on “cold start”, the UPS works at battery mode.
► Bypass Mode
The UPS can work at bypass mode when the output voltage is within the range of input voltage shown as below.
The UPS will transfer to bypass mode from inverter mode when any of the following event occurs.
1. No start with normal AC source
2. BUS OVP,UVP
3. Over-temperature protection
4. Inverter OVP,UVP,FAIL
5. Overload
6. Output short
7. MCU invalid
► Economic Mode
When the UPS is set on the ECO mode, and the input voltage is within +/-10% of output voltage, then the UPS can work on
the ECO Mode.
During the normal status, the input power will be converted from AC to DC via rectifier & PFC. The DC voltage will supply to the char-
ger circuit for charging the battery, and to the inverter circuit to produce clean and steady sinusoidal output voltage for the load.
• When the input voltage is in abnormal condition (power off or abnormal wave shape, etc., ), the UPS will transfer to battery mode
automatically .The battery will offer the power to PFC to generate the DC BUS voltage, and the DC BUS voltage will offer to inverter
to produce clean and steady sinusoidal output voltage for the load.
ENGLISH
• The UPS will come to bypass mode when either overload or over-temperature occurs but the input voltage is nominal. It will
automatically return to ON LINE MODE once the faults are cleared.
• When the UPS detects the output short circuit, or DC BUS OVP, or failure of rectifying or the Input/output fuse opened, the UPS
will transfer to the BYPASS MODE.
• While the UPS operate on the PARALLEL MODE, the UPS must satisfy the following conditions: capacity, output voltage and
frequency of the UPS must be the same and the load will be equalized by two units. If one unit is in faulty condition, all of the load
will be supplied by the other one. In case that the whole load exceeds the power capacity of this one, the UPS will transfer to the
BYPASS MODE.
• When the input voltage/frequency is out of the range, the UPS will automatically transfer to the BATTERY MODE, and the load
will be equalized by two units. When the input is in nominal range, the UPS will return to the ON LINE MODE.
• Just as the same reason of Chapter 2.2.3, two UPSs will transfer to the BYPASS MODE at the same time and share the equal
load.

FREQ CONVERTER :
It is used to set if the UPS can work at the Freq converter mode.
► When set on Disable, the UPS will automatically choose to work at 50Hz or 60Hz according to the freq of the utility power. If
the DC start, the UPS will read from the EEPROM.

• When the AC input voltage is outside the range specified by the rating output voltage (240V:156~276V;
200V/208V/220V/230V:156~264V), there is no output from the bypass.
• When the AC input voltage is within the range specified by the rating output voltage (240V:156~276V;
200V/208V/220V/230V:156~264V) but the input freq is out of the range (50Hz:47~53Hz; 60Hz:46.4~53.6Hz) , there is no
