MODULE 22: Human Environmental Factors Affecting Motivation

Analysis 1
1. The students considers her teacher great. List down the teacher’s behavioral traits that made learning
fun.

 Mastery of subject matter

 Well-prepared
 Friendly attitude
 Effective teaching strategy
 Loving and caring

2. Do you find any similarities with your list in #1?

 Yes, my first on my list is the mastery of subject matter and that is similar to knowledge of their
subjects. Second is well-prepared and that is one the reasons why they can explain things
clearly. And I have friendly attitude on my list where in relation with teacher spends time on
helping students. I also have effective teaching strategy which makes the class interesting. I
include the loving and caring but I didn’t come up with the idea about sense of humor.

Analysis 2

1. Is there any experiences on bullying that was shared? If yes, what are the various forms of bullying?

 Yes, for example, we have one classmate who is very untidy, no one wants to get closer to her
because my classmates disgusted her. She always bullied and that form of bully is teasing.

2. How does bullying affect the students’ need to belong to a learning community?

 Student can feel alone and sad because they think no one wants them, no one wants to become
friends with.

3. Is calling a classmate promdi and barriotic a form of bullying?

 For me it is a form of bullying too. As I read about promdi, they are the person who lived in
urban places who are very happy when they arrive in the big city or others will call them as’
’Ignorante’’ and that was a kind of bully. A barriotic is their way of wearing clothes. Bullies will
call them as ‘’ragged’’ or worst attire. So, this is a form of bullying and showing a disrespect.
Analysis 3

1. In your tally of behavioral traits, which traits (both positive and negative) are on top? Study your top
positive and negative behavioral traits. Are the results consistent?

 Participate actively in any school activities is on top, showing a full support for the children and
always checking their children’s paper like quizzes and assignments. No negative traits are being
listed because I only tally those characteristics of supportive parent.

2. As a teacher and as a future parent, what message can you read from your list of behavioral traits?

 All of the positive behavioral traits should be observed in myself. These tells me to be a good
teacher and a good parent in the future. I should have to show this to my future students and
child that I am an ideal person. I will also try to have all the positive affective traits.
