Central Monitoring and

Control Software for

GRMS & Access Control

The objective of the Guest Room Management System

(GRMS) is to provide convenience to the guest, enhance the
operator’s management control and provide energy savings.

The design for the GRMS is based on an integrated DIN

rail mountable room control unit (RCU). The RCU houses
all the control devices such as relays, dimmers and FCU
control modules. Auxiliary control devices such as wall
mounted control panels, thermostats, DND/MUR
indicator and Key card holders provides the control user
interfaces to the system.

It will transmit at minimum the following information to PMS:
n Room Occupancy n DND Status n MUR Status

This can be further enhanced based on specific customer requirements.

Integration with Building Management Systems (BMS)

The central management software has all the information regarding room status including temperature available in its database.
This can be made available to third party systems like BMS for monitoring purposes. If required an interface can be developed to allow
temperature to be controlled from the BMS console.
