heating water discharge valve must be opened
and its handle removed. The handle should be
well kept during heating operation.

4. Without BROAD’s permission, the concentration
regulating valve is forbidden to be adjusted at
random otherwise crystallization may happen or
the capacity will reduce

turning chiller in dilution or stop, avoid
crystallization due to the valve leakage.

Vacuum And Life-span
1. Ensure good vacuum in the chiller according to
“Vacuum Management regulation”.

2. Forbidden to operate vacuum valve by un-


trained person, remove the valve handle after
operating the valve.

3. Valves must be closed carefully. The canned
cover and plug must be closed soon after valve
operation.

4.Forbidden to use LiBr solution from other
suppliers, solution is the blood of the chiller,
unqualified solution will damage the chiller.

5. Management of idle machine: if the chiller will
stay idle for 8 months, high purity nitrogen
(>99.999%) of 0.01-0.02 MPa must be charged
for avoiding air leakage and chiller corrosion.

6. Without BROAD’s written permission, copper


tubes and water pipe system are
forbidden to be washed with chemicals. Copper
tubes may be corroded seriously
without controlling.

1. Internet cable must be used to network
monitoring. The control cabinet must be always
power on (Internet cable must be 24 hours
connected) no matter the chiller is on/off,
otherwise BROAD Monitoring Center cannot
trace the chiller situation.

2.The power supply must meet local standards.
The fluctuation range of voltage must be at
≤10% rated value. A dedicated grounding is
available in the machine room. Grounding
cable≥2.5mm2 and grounding resistance ≤10Ω.

3. The safety devices are forbidden to be short-


circuited, and their settings can not be changed.

1. Forbidden to vibrate the piping system or to
bear any external shock on the chiller, it may
affect the chiller’s life-span, or even damage
the chiller.
2. It is forbidden to put heavy objects on the
pressure escape door.

3. The chiller must be well kept.
The door and windows of the machine room must be
installed with lock. No entrance for unrelated person.
The tool box and documents should be well kept.

4. Humidity of machine room should be less than 85% with


the temperature ranging from 5℃to 43℃.

5. Heating source pressure should be stable.


Fluctuation should be within ±0.02 MPa. Working
pressure and temperature should not be 10% higher than
the rated.
