II. Presentation:
Today we are going to learn about some special pairs of letters called
digraph.
A digraph is two letters which work together to make a single sound like
sh in shell or fish. A digraph can be made up of vowels or consonants.
Consonants digraphs are groups of two consonants that make a single sound.
Examples of consonants digraphs are ch as in chip and sh as in ship.

walking along the shore collecting sea shells. When she is done filling her
bucket with shells, she likes to chill in her beach chair and chew gum. She
watches the shorelines for ships and tries to guess where they are going. One
time she saw a shark chasing a fish right in the shallow area.
