(Chennai) at 220KV IOCL PANIPAT REFINERY.

M/s GE T&D SAS Engineer Mr. P.N.V.VARA PRASAD visited at 220KV IOCL
PANIPAT REFINERY on 23-08-2023 for the 220kV Bays commissioning
work.
The following works have been carried out under presence of M/s BHEL, M/s
IOCL & M/s GE T&D-(Chennai) representative.
The following points are completed in 220KV Bay D-01 Spare transformer-1
1. Remote operations for Breaker(52), Isolator (Q1, Q2, Q9), Earth switch(Q81,
Q89, Q8) and status of Breaker(52), Isolator (Q1, Q2, Q9) Earth
switch(Q81,Q89, Q8) are checked in SCADA, corresponding Alarm & event
checked in SCADA, and same was witnessed by M/s BHEL.
2. Interlocks of Breaker (52), Isolator (Q1, Q2, Q9) and Earth switch (Q81, Q89,
Q8) signals configured, corresponding alarm & event in checked in SCADA,
and same was witnessed by M/s BHEL.

3. Metering values of BCU reporting with the CT ratio of 500/1A PT

220KV/110V in SCADA, and same was witnessed by M/s BHEL.
4. Synchro check for CB parameters are configured in SCADA, and same was
witnessed by M/s BHEL.
5. Digital inputs and digital outputs of BCU have been configured as per
approved scheme and corresponding Alarm & event checked in SCADA, and
same was witnessed by M/s BHEL.
6. Trip relays 86A, 86B reset command checked from SCADA, and same was

found ok and same was witnessed by M/s BHEL.
8. Protection relay signal testing completed and same was witnessed by M/s
BHEL.
The Following Points are completed in 220KV Bay D-02 Transformer-1
1. Remote operations for Breaker(52), Isolator (Q1, Q2, Q9), Earth switch(Q81,
Q89, Q8) and status of Breaker(52), Isolator (Q1, Q2, Q9) Earth switch (Q81,
Q89, Q8) are checked in SCADA, corresponding Alarm & event checked in
SCADA, and same was witnessed by M/s BHEL.

switch(Q81, Q89, Q9, 89XE) are checked in SCADA, corresponding Alarm
& event checked in SCADA, and same was witnessed by M/s BHEL.

Common Points:-
1) Main server, standby server, main gateway and standby gateway are installed with
DS Agile 7.7.1.8 Aview base and found working satisfactory.
2) As per the approved system architecture network formation completed and found
satisfactory.
3) HI Vision software installed for NMS and working satisfactory.
4) Auto DR Configuration completed and working fine.
5) As per the approved signals list T104 – Gateway-1 & 2 configuration completed and
same was Gateway-1 tested up to the LDC.
6) XEROX DOC-2000 network printer is installed for all network PC.
7) SERTEL make GPS is installed for time synchronization and all IED’s are time synched
with the same SNTP Master and working fine.
8) Line bay AR timing :- 1.000 to 1.020 Sec
9) IMS reports are configured as per M/s ADANI request and same was working fine.
10) Final DB: - 7.100.6.0_BUILD1RC_KZ97_IOCL_PANIPAT_EN.1.52 loaded in all BCU,
Main & standby Servers and gateway main & standby servers.
11) Final backups all are saved in Local Disk-D: Final Back up Folder.
M/s GE T&D SAS Engineer left the site on 30.11.2023.
