    1. So sánh bội số (so sánh gấp nhiều lần)


    S + V + bội số + as + much/many/adj/adv + (N) + as + /N/pronoun
    VD: Gasoline prices this year are twice as high as high as last
    year.
    - sử dụng twice = two times : gấp 2 lần
    Twice as …. as ; three time as …. as
    Phân số + as …. as
    This dress is two-thirds as expensive as that one.

    2. So sánh kém
    2.1 So sánh kém hơn với tính từ/trạng từ

    S + V + less + Adj/Adv + than + Noun/ Pronoun


    = S + V + NOT AS + Adj/Adv + as + Noun/pronoun
    VD: The second method was less complicated than the first one.
    This new laptop is not as fast as my old one.
    2.2 So sánh kém hơn với danh từ
    * Danh từ đếm được ( countabble noun)

    S + V + fewer + plural noun + than + noun/pronoun


    VD: She has fewer pairs of shoes than her sister.
    * Danh từ không đếm được (uncountable noun)

    S + V + less + uncountable noun + than + noun/pronoun/clause

    VD: This motorbike consumes less petrol than your cả.


    * So sánh kém nhất
    S + V + the least + Adj/Adv + Noun/pronoun/clause
    VD: Alan was the one who had the least trees in the competition .
    3. So sánh kép
    A) So sánh kép trong câu đơn
    Adj/adv-er + and + adj/adv-er + S + V or S + V + more and more adj/adv
    ( càng …. càng)
    VD: the office is getting hotter and hotter
    More and more people complain about the quality of the water system
    The lessons are more and more difficult
    B) so sánh kép trong câu kép
    Với tính từ ngắn
    The + Adj/adv - er + S + V, The + Adj/adv-er + S + V
    Ex: The fatter he gets, the shorter he is
    Với tính từ dài
    The + more + long adj/adv + S + V, The + more + short adj/adv + S +V
    Vd: The more beautiful she is, the more attractive she gets.
    The more + S +V , The more + S + V
    VD: The more I know her, the more I hate her.
    The less + long adj/adv + S +V, he less + long adj/adv + S + V
    VD: The less difficult the lessons are, the less dilligent the students are
    ( bài học càng dễ, học sinh càng siêng năng)
    More and more + Noun
    Vd: more and more people use the Internet nowadays .
    Less and less + noun
    Less and less people do exercises nowadays
