My name is Pham Yen Nhi. I’m 18 years old.

I was born and raised in Gia Lai

province. I’m a first year student at University of social sciences and humanities.
My family has five people - my parents, my sister, my younger sister and me, but
I have to live away from them due to my study. People always see me as a active,
creative and trustworthy person. What I love to do in my free time is reading
books, listening to music, and watching movies. My dream after I graduate is to
work in a big international incorporation, so I always try my best to study and
research in many necessary fields since now. I’m really excited to be in college,
which is a completely new phase of my life.

1. Your favourite food:
My favorite food is Phở. It’s one of the specialties in Vietnamese cuisine. It has
been popular with not only Vietnamese people but also foreign tourists. Phở
consists of rice noodles, sliced beef, broth made from beef bones and onions. All
the ingredients are put in a bowl with onions on top of the beef. There are a
bunch of places where you can eat Phở, and the prices greatly vary. The tastes of
all ingredients are in perfect harmony. It has a delicate taste and smells so good
that I can’t resist it whenever I go past. Phở is also nutritious enough to be a
typical breakfast in Vietnam.
2. Your neighborhood:
My neighborhood is in the city. It is surrounded by many green spaces such as
trees and parks. In the afternoon, people usually go to these places and do the
outdoor activities. Because my neighborhood is in the city, so there are a lot of
towers and modern buildings. Besides that, there are many schools for education.
People live in my neighborhood are friendly and hospitable. They are always
willing to help people whenever they have difficulties. I love my neighborhood
very much because it makes me feel comfortable and cozy when I live here.
3. Favourite destination:
Vung Tau is a small city in Southeast Vietnam. It is a beautiful city to visit. It has
a long beach with a lot of small mountains. On weekends, people love coming
here for relaxing because it’s pretty quiet and clean. The attraction is an old
lighthouse, it was built in 1907, from here, you can see most of the sights of the
city. The seafood here is fresh, delicious and affordable. You can order your food
and it is cooked right before you. But for me, what I like most about Vung Tau is
temples and pagodas, I can spend a lot of time wandering around and look at
them.
4. Favourite famous person:
Every day I have chance to watch different famous people shine and bring
inspiration to others on TV; however, the one that inspires me the most is Taylor
Swift. She is a typical example of a strong, intelligent and independent woman..
She challenges herself in different types of music, from Country, Ballad to Pop,
and all of her songs carry deep meanings. Most people can find themselves in her
lyrics and her melodies. Besides her singing career, she is also a businesswoman
who has her own enterprises and brand names. She had tried so hard in her youth
to achieve the things that I always dream of; therefore, she is a great symbol that
I always look up. Taylor Swift is forever my beloved idol, and her effort is the
goal for me to never quit trying.

+ Of course! I like studying history because it helps us know about the past, how
our ancestors built and maintained the country. History helps us know the
development of society, people and culture. It helps us better understand the
major events that happened and their impact on the world today. Besides,
studying history also helps enhance the ability to analyze, reason and deeply
understand the world around you.
+ Firstly, Review the old knowledge you have learned so that you can remember
it longer. In addition, read and prepare new lessons in advance. Second, Learn by
analyzing and synthesizing events. Finally, you can use mind maps to easily
remember and understand deeply
+ I think history should be taught in school because without history, students will
not know about the past, will not know the contributions our ancestors fought to
protect peace.

translator. Besides, I will open my own clothing store if I have a stable income.
