    1. Invitation
    Jalgaon District Chess Association has the honour to invite all Chess Players from the State of
    Maharashtra to participate in the h2e Power System Maharashtra State Open Fide Rating Chess
    Championship Jalgaon 2024
    2. Recognition
    The championship is held under the auspicious of All India Chess Federation, & Maharashtra Chess
    Association it is organized by Jalgaon District Chess Association & Supported by Jain Irrigation Systems
    Ltd, Khandesh Central,& Jain Sports Academy This State championship will serve as
    st selection event for 61
    Senior National Chess Championship to be held in August 2024.

    3. Selection of Maharashtra Team


    • Top 4 Players will be selected to represent Maharashtra State in forthcoming Senior National Chess
    Championship . Players participating in this championship will only be allowed to participate in Senior
    National Chess Championship If to be held in August 2024 .

    Particiapation ion this championship is compulsory if any player wishes to take part in National Championship
    4.Eligibility Criteria

    Only the players completing the following conditions are eligible to play the said chess championship.
    All entries should be strictly routed through the respective District Chess Associations
    affiliated to MCA.
    • Each District Association is entitled to field 4 Selected players.
    • ‘Selected Player’ means the player selected from the respective District Selection Events.
    Besides the above, the District Associations may enter an unlimited number of players as a Doner Entry.
    • Additional Selected entries for Districts-Pune (4) Nagpur (2)

    5.Exemptions Criteria
    •Participation In the State Selection Chess tournaments of Maharashtra is Mandatory for
    everyone except for certain exemptions who can directly give their entry for respective
    National tournament which are mentioned below.

    No Tournaments Criteria
    Players with classical rating of 2000 & above
    1 State Senior Open Selection exempted from participation

    If any player wishes to skip the state selection championships and directly take part in
    National Championships then he/she will have to pay privilege fee of Rs. 3,500 to MCA for each
    state selection championship which they desire to skip. It is mandatory for any player to take part in
    at least one state selection chess championship for he/she to be
    exempted from paying the privilege fee in current year

    All participants in the State Championship should be registered with AICF and MCA for the year

    2024-25. Online AICF and MCA registration link is given below. No entry will be accepted

    without AICF and MCA players registration for 2024-25 and such players will not be paired.

    No electronic devices,mobile phones & wrist watches are allowed in the
    playing venue.If a player is a caught with any of these then aloss will be
    given in his / her game straightway.
    All Fide Fairplay Regulation are Applicable & Followed

    12. Accommoda on
    Only selected players will be provided dormitory type sharing basis accommodation at
    Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Krida Sankul, opp. SBI main brach Jalgaon.
    • The donor entry players need to make their own accommodation at their cost.
    • Team managers / Parents will not be provided with free accommodation.
    • Accommodation will be closed before 2 days, no request will be
    entertained for accommodation after 22nd July 2024.
    • Every District Should inform Jalgaon District Chess Association by email
    about the Selected Players who would require Accommodation by 22th July 2024
    for exact requirement. Based on the email received by 22th July 2024
    will provide Accommodation.
