II-Day 14
II-Day 14
II-Day 14
Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives,
necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities
may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative
I. OBJECTIVES
Assessment Strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable
children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the
curriculum guides.
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of circles and formulates real-life
problems involving these concepts, and solve these using a variety of strategies.
B. Performance Standards The learner is able to formulate and find solutions to challenging situations involving circles and
other relate terms in different appropriate and accurate representations.
Learning Competency: Proves theorems related to chords, arcs, central angles, and inscribed
angles ” (M10GE-Iic-d-1)
Learning Objectives:
C. Learning Competencies/
Objectives
1. Proves theorems on inscribed angle and its intercepted arc
2. Solve exercises related to the theorem on inscribed angle and its intercepted arc
3. Demonstrate critical thinking skills in solving exercises where the theorem on inscribed angle
and its intercepted arc is applied
1. References
4. Textbook pages
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that pupils/students
will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the pupils/ students which you can infer
from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing pupils/students with

multiple ways to learn new things, practice the learning, question their learning processes, and draw
conclusions about what they learned in relation to their life experiences and previous knowledge. Indicate
the time allotment for each step.
A. Review previous lesson or The teacher illustrates the 3 cases of inscribe angles on the board
presenting the new lesson
Guide Questions:
A. The teacher will introduce the the theorem which states that “If an angle is inscribed in a
circle, then the measure of the angle equals one-half the measure oft its intercepted arc ( or the
measure of the intercepted arc is twice the measure of the inscribe angle ”. Ask the class to
analyze the given illustrative example. The students may work in pair. Ask a pair of students to

of the new lesson
The teacher presents to the class the proof of theorem for case no.1. Working in pair, the
students will analyze the given proof of theorem and discuss with each other. Then, the teacher
asks a pair of students to explain the theorem in front of the class.
E. Discussing new concepts and The teacher guide the students to answer by pair the activity below:
