4. Play the CD and have students listen and point to the first time.
ACTIVITIES 5. Play the CD again and have student listen , point and repeat .

6. Direct students’ attention to the picture and ask students questions they can answer .
7. Explain to students that they are going to listen to a chant and that they will have to circle all the l blends they
hear in the chant .
8. Play the chant Toys and have students listen and follow along in their books.
9. Play the chant again , pausing after each line for students to circle .
10. Then , play the chant once more and encouraging them to chant along .
