Question 4 – Target Audience
The target audience that my
magazine is aimed at in terms of
demographics would be both
genders and roughly around the
ages between teenagers and young
adults.
Both the female and male genders
would be interested in my magazine
because the Hip Hop genre is aimed
towards both genders; even though
most of the artists within the genre
are male both the female and male
genders are engrossed.
In terms of the psychographics and the audience’s interests I am aiming to
attract the audience of the music interest, especially Hip Hop and Rap. I am
also trying to target the audience of those interested in the latest fashion
and the latest news on those in the Hip Hop industry.
In my original audience research I found that my audience enjoy the Hip Hop
genre and that they relate to the subtopics of the genre which is why I have
tried including them in my own magazine. The main audience are often
students and this is the sort of music and magazine they are interested in.

I am also trying to target the audience of those interested in the latest fashion and the latest news on those in the Hip Hop industry. In my original audience research I found that my audience enjoy the Hip Hop genre and that they relate to the subtopics of the genre which is why I have tried including them in my own magazine. The main audience are often students and this is the sort of music and magazine they are interested in.
