this study examines the needs for developing skills of trainees in courses offered by institutions
of Tourism of the Distrito Federal. It was used a research tool developed from the knowledge, skills
and attitudes of the Tourism professional defined by the Ministry of Education and Culture. A hundred
and sixty five students of Tourism in nine institutions participated in the study. Descriptive statistics
were performed to analyze the data. The results show that students sampled demonstrated mastery of
basic skills required of professionals in Tourism, but not those actually associated with the exercise of
the profession in question. Bases are provided to rethink the skills of Brazilian professionals of Tourism
and for future studies.

The objective was to compare the perceptions of two professional groups of a research organization regarding the working context influence the existences of pleasure and suffering, with theoretical support in the Activity's Ergonomics and Work's Psychodynamics. As indicators of context, the work's organization, conditions and worker's relationships social professional had been observed; in pleasure experiences, were evaluated factors that represent gratification and freedom and of suffering, the ones that portray feelings of unreliability and consuming. It was used the Scale for Assessment of the Context of Work (SACW), the Scale of Indicators of Pleasure-Suffering at Work (SIPSW) and eleven individual semi-structured interviews for data collection, examined by descriptive and inferential statistics and analysis of meaning nuclei. This study aims to present the technique of content analysis spanning the discussion between theory and practice in social research applied to formal organizations. It begins with a lecture of quantitative and qualitative methods, presents qualitative research in the observation of classical authors in t he area and introduces the method of content analysis based on Bardin (2011). Then the study pragmatizes the technique exemplifying same with social research in formal organizations, emphasizing the three stages of applicability. Finally, the integration of the technique in qualitative research showing the importance of its use in research in social matters is discussed.

Este estudo visa apresentar a técnica de Análise de Conteúdo perpassando a discussão entre a teoria e a prática em pesquisas aplicadas a organizações. Inicia com uma preleção dos métodos quantitativos e qualitativos, apresenta a pesquisa qualitativa na observação de autores clássicos na área e introduz o método de análise de conteúdo com fundamento em Bardin (2011). Em seguida pragmatiza a técnica exemplificando com pesquisas sociais em organizações, enfatizando as três fases de aplicabilidade. Finalmente discute a inserção da técnica na pesquisa qualitativa mostrando a importância da utilização em pesquisas de cunho social.
