Optional Tours are one of the most important activities in the tourism industry and can provide substantial gains to tourists and tourism businesses as well as host communities. In addition, optional tours are now one of the main products in Egypt. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the of optional tours services presented by travel agencies and their effect on tourist's satisfaction in Marsa Alam city. To achieve the aims of the study, quantitative approach based on a questionnaire was developed and directed to a sample of Egyptian and foreign tourists. The questionnaire was handled to 550 Egyptians tourists and 140 foreign tourists. Travel medicine has emerged as a new field of medicine that involves pre-travel evaluation, contingency planning during travel, and post-travel care. Its implementation showed major discrepancies among different countries. This study aims to assess the health information given to travelers and detect their sources of information. This is a cross sectional analytical observational study of 397 travelers implemented on different travel destinations all over Egypt. It adopts self-administered structured questionnaires according to the International Travel Health Questionnaire (ITHQ) and in-depth interviews with managers in the Ministry of Tourism. The results showed that 17.5% of the international travelers and none of the national travelers heard about the ITHQ; whereas, 58.9% of the international travelers and 26.8% of the national travelers took information about safety measures from different sources. Research has a key role in sustainable and comprehensive development for any country. The primary body producing research in Egypt is higher education institutions (i.e. universities). It is claimed that the academic research contribution to tourism industry development is limited. This study aims to investigate the challenges of university research. It examines the effect of research challenges on the tourism industry development. Employing structural equation modeling for analysis purposes of 151 questionnaire forms collected from academics, the findings revealed that lack of clear university research policies, weak financial support, university research environment, researchers-related factors, research output marketing challenges, and field-related challenges are negatively affecting the tourism sector development. This study is useful for research policy-makers to set up research priorities to meet the societal needs.

Passenger satisfaction is a major concern to airlines. It is an important competitive advantage that airlines need. In addition, customer loyalty is significantly associated with satisfaction. This study, using structural equation modelling to analyze passenger perceptions of EgyptAir and Emirates airline, aims to measure the influence of passenger travel cycle service quality on passenger's satisfaction and its impact on loyalty. In addition, it investigates the opinions of passengers on provided services of both airlines including their tangible, intangible services, information availability and airlines' commitment to declared times. The findings revealed the significant effect of travel cycle services on passengers' satisfaction while it highlights the services that passengers are not satisfied with. Contributions of the study to knowledge and practice are also discussed.

However, the Middle East consists of a rich geodiversity, which is regrettably not well known by the public. Despite the development of geotourism, very few studies have investigated issues pertaining to it in the Middle East, particularly, in Egypt. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to identify the concept of geotourism and to explore the challenges of geotourism in Wadi Al-Hitan. This research adopted a quantitative approach by using single case study to achieve the aim, objectives and research questions. The results revealed that Jebel Qatrani has attractions such as fossils, rocks, mountains, and fossilized trees. E-service quality has become an essential input for achieving the customer's satisfaction in online environment. This study aims to develop research model to assess the quality of e-tourism services and tourist's satisfaction toward the websites of the Egyptian travel agencies. Additionally, it seeks to identify the dimensions of e-tourism service quality and its impact on tourists' e-satisfaction of such travel agents. Collecting 170 online questionnaire forms from tourists in Egypt, the findings revealed that the dimensions of e-tourism service quality are positively affecting tourists' e-satisfaction. Particularly, interactivity and reliability have the greatest contribution to e-satisfaction, versus customer service and privacy having the lowest. The demographic characteristics have influenced the customers' perception of e-tourism service quality and e-satisfaction of travel agents' websites.

هدفت الدراسة إلي التعرف علي وجهة نظر سوق العمل المتمثل في الشركات السياحية في آرائهم المختلفة حول مدي وجود تنسيق بين شركات السياحة ومؤسسات التعليم الفني للسياحة فيما يتعلق بالمهارات المطلوبة في الخريجين، مدي متابعة المؤسسات التعليمية لعملية التدريب العملي التي تتم بشركات السياحة، والتعرف علي المستوي المهاري لدي الطلاب في بعض المهارات الاساسية المطلوبة بسوق العمل. وكذلك التعرف علي مدي قبول سوق العمل للفئات المختلفة من طلاب التعليم الفني تخصص دراسات سياحية . ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم توزيع عدد 225 استمارة علي مديري شركات السياحة ورؤساء الاقسام بها والعاملين بقسم الموارد البشرية فيها حيث بلغ عدد الشركات التي تم توزيع الاستمارات عليها 45 شركة سياحة بواقع عدد 5 استمارات لكل شركة بمدينة الإسكندرية. وتم جمع الاستمارات تم جمع 201 استمارة وبفحصهم وجد أن عدد الاستمارات الصالح للتحليل بلغ 180 استمارة بما يمثل نسبة 80% من إجمالي الاستمارات التي تم توزيعها. وقد أستخدمت الدراسة برنامج SPSS الإصدار 20 لتحليل البيانات. وقد أظهرت النتائج أن شركات السياحة تقبل طلاب المعاهد الفنية السياحية للتدريب لدي...

In this study, tourist behaviour can be regarded as an aggregate construct, comprising pre-visit determinants for destination choice (e.g., motivation); on-site experience (e.g., perception); post-visit evaluation (e.g., satisfaction); and future behavioural intentions (destination loyalty). Combined, these factors help to understand comprehensive destination visitor behaviour. This study aims to assess visitor management at the Jerash archaeological site in Jordan. It also sheds light on their approaches in guiding and managing visitors at the site, and to discover the effectiveness of adopting indirect approaches (soft strategies) by comparison to using direct approaches (hard strategies). This study examines the effects of visitor management practices on the level of experience quality for visitors, as well as on their satisfaction. The primary data has been obtained from various tools, mainly a survey questionnaire. The study has used descriptive analysis and linear regression. Moreover, the researcher has used site observation to assists in supporting, or refuting, the findings.
