Relative viscosities of Me4NBr, Et4NBr, Pr4NBr and Bu4NBr in 10% (W/W) 2-(Ethoxy) ethanol-water mixture are measured at 30 o , 35 o and 40 o C. The data has been analyzed on the basis of Jones-Dole equation. The viscosity B-coefficients, and their temperature coefficients show that Et4NBr, Pr4NBr and Bu4NBr are structure makers in the present solvent system contrast to Me4NBr a structure breaker. The B-Coefficients are divided into their ionic components. B-values of R4N + ions are divided into BEinst and BReinf values. Solute-solvent interaction parameters (Δ) are calculated to understand the structural effect of solute. Applying transition state theory quasi-thermodynamic parameters are also calculated. Positive solvation numbers for Et4NBr, Pr4NBr and Bu4NBr indicate structure making property of these ions. The dimensions of the R4N + ions are also calculated.

The term ‘social change’ instantly reminds me of the kind of people’s expectations leading to huge political upheavals that I have come across through a series of literary works, specifically novels and poetry, that had overpowered the literary cultural syndrome in Bengali literature in 60s’. And it was no coincidence when a host of writers in Bengal including poets, dramatists, film makers constituted one common literary platform under the name of Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA) and thus aesthetic creations were taken to street to create a nationalist sentience against all Fascist forces or social injustices. And that had become a history indeed. The more we try to depreciate those movements as just unrealistic, absurd, redundant or futile, the more its originality, genuine thrust for establishing equality or ushering in an era where the dictatorship of the proletariats was envisaged, become apparent. When I look back to the history of literary movement in 60s and recall...
