Artikel ini membincangkan peranan modul yang berteraskan Al-Quran dan Al-Sunnah dalam pendidikan sains untuk menerapkan elemen tauhid melalui kurikulum sains sebagai satu usaha mewujudkan masyarakat seimbang yang menghayati dan membangunkan ilmu secara bersepadu selari dengan Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan (FPK). Kepentingan pengukuhan aqidah melalui sains amat diperlukan untuk melahirkan insan yang bersahsiah mulia serta mampu memikul tanggungjawab terhadap diri sendiri, masyarakat, dan negara. Namun begitu, hasil kajian mendapati kurikulum sains di Malaysia disampaikan hanya terbatas kepada ilmu akal dan tiada kesepaduan antara ilmu aqli (akal) dan ilmu naqli (wahyu). Kajian ini bertujuan membina satu model khidmat nasihat keluarga Islam yang boleh digunakan oleh imam-imam masjid daerah negeri Johor melalui empat elemen keluarga Islam iaitu pencegahan, perkembangan, menangani krisis dan pemulihan. Kaedah yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah berbentuk kualitatif, dengan menggunakan kajian pelbagai kes. Sembilan orang imam yang terdiri daripada Imam Masjid Daerah Negeri Johor (IDM) telah dipilih secara sampel bertujuan sebagai responden dalam mendapatkan data. Data kajian ini telah dikumpul secara kaedah temu bual kemudian ditriangulasikan dengan data yang diperolehi melalui analisis dokumen dan pemerhatian. Kesemua data ini kemudiannya telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian analisis NVivo 7.0. Religious based secondary school. It is done in order to determine the perception and knowledge of student on the al-Balaghah knowledge, identify the problems faced by student in Arabic literature knowledge education and to identify the effectiveness of teaching and learning of Arabic literature knowledge education among the student and the application of this knowledge in their language style. 320 form five students from religious based secondary schools in Johor was chosen as sample for this study. This research uses questionnaires in order to obtain research data and the data obtained is processed using Likert scale. Pendidikan akidah merupakan tunjang dalam pendidikan Islam bagi menghasilkan modal insan yang lengkap selaras dengan keperluan negara. Lantaran itu, pengajaran subjek ini perlu diberikan perhatian kerana sifatnya yang subjektif dan berfalsafah sukar dikendalikan oleh guru. Kajian kualitatif ini adalah bersifat kajian kes yang bertujuan untuk melihat kedudukan motivasi dan penggunaan Bahan Bantu Mengajar (BBM) dalam pengajaran akidah di dalam kelas. Responden kajian adalah terdiri daripada empat orang Guru Cemerlang Pendidikan Mam (GCPI) di sekolah Menengah sekitar Johor Bahru. Dapatan menunjukkan BBM sangat membantu guru dalam pengajaran pendidikan akidah. Ia mampu memotivasi pelajar dalam pembelajaran di dalam kelas. BBM yang menggunakan teknologi seperti video dan animasi sangat membantu proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran.

Wasatiyyah is the original nature of Islam, therefore Allah calls Muslims as ummatan wasatan. The principle of wasatiyyah is the reason why Islamic sharia can be relevant to be practiced anywhere and at all times, including in secular countries such as Singapore. This article discusses the concept of wasatiyyah implemented by MUIS and related institutions in governing the Muslim community in Singapore. The research method in this article is qualitative with a literature review approach. The collected data was analyzed using the opinion of scholars or experts in the field of sharia law. From the results of this study, the author concludes that in governing the Muslim community of Singapore, MUIS and related institutions have adopted the concept of wasatiyyah.

This article intends to explain the background of tarekat Alawiyah, principles, practice of Ratib al-`Attas and manners during performing this act. This Tarekat was founded by al-Faqih Muqaddam Muhammad bin Ali Ba`Alawi (w. 653H), whom was related with prophet s.a.w. sadahs `Alawiyin had been propagating islam through da’wah mission, trade and marriage from the early of 1,400 M throughout the archipelago especially in Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore and Malaysia. This paper aims to analyze the issues concerning the implementation of binding precedent in Malaysian cases, and propose a re-evaluation of the binding precedent doctrine. The qualitative approach was employed to indicate the issues related to the doctrine of binding precedent by analyzing relevant cases. These cases were selected to propose the re-evaluation of the binding precedent doctrine as practiced by the Malaysian dual-judicial system. The main issue to be discussed regarding the doctrine of binding precedent is interference by the Civil Court on Islamic matters and Syariah Court decisions, which lead to inconsistency in judgments, even after the amendment of Article 121(1A) of the Federal Constitution. This study proposes that the application of binding precedent should be re-evaluated to ensure that the principles of justice are upheld. Court judges should decide cases based on merit, and only use previous judgments as guidance for present and future cases.

Hygiene in food preparation for Muslim consumer is the same as Halal requirements. The contradicting term of halal is haram or non-halal. Halal is associated with the concept of hygiene because of what is permitted in Islam is related with human health (www.hdcglobal.com). As an example, a dead but non-slaughtered animal is normally associated with a disease. Most diseases originated or carried in the animal’s blood. Therefore, slaughtering is mandatory to ensure the blood is completely out from the animal’s body, thus minimizing the chance of microbial infection. Lack of awareness the hygiene logistics practices in animal farms results in unhealthy and dangerous consumption of meat and animals to be eaten. Thus, this research is trying to study the hygiene logistics practice in Osman Goat Farm at Kangkar Tebrau as one of the largest farm managed by Muslim in Johor. This study uses qualitative method by interviewing the authorized person to ensure that hygiene logistics practiced has been done. Semi structured interview and participation observation has been used as the study instrument to gain data. Case study has been used as the method of analysis by triangulation data between the interview and observations. Interview was conducted with the authorized person such as Mr. Osman who is the director and Mr. Supri who is his supervisor. The study found that Osman Goat Farm has implemented most of the requirement of halal logistics. Hygiene logistics aspects in this study consists of storage, processing, packaging, handling, and transportation. Osman Goat Farm had implied all the hygiene logistics practices measured. Surrounding factors such as the farm location, which is near to schools and residents area allows Osman Goat farm to implements hygiene logistics practices very well. This study recommends an innovation in storage system especially the food container and drink for the goat. The innovation also includes new waste management design system as issued in chapter 4. These solutions can be the benchmark or design of hygiene logistics practices of goat farming industries in Malaysia.

Anxiety or restlessness is an affective psychological variable that could affect the life of students significantly. In Malaysia, anxiety is one of the factors influencing subject performance especially among primary school students. Thus, a study of anxiety in Islamic Studies should be conducted to identify the problem. Also lack of previous study investigate the indicators of Islamic education subject anxiety specifically. Thus, this study aims to identify students’ experience anxiety level for Islamic Education subject and to build a hierarchy of students' experience anxiety based on the Parkinsons’ Four Factor Theory. This article aims to evaluate the source of 17 dhikr in Ratib al-Άttas based on Quran, Hadith and scholar views on the meaning and purpose of dhikr. Applications Ratib al-Attas ceremony was conducted over 90 years ago in the state of Johor. In addition, the application Ratib al-Άttas assessment and justification is given from the perspective of Islamic practices. The method used is by clarifying the position of remembrance 17 Ratib al-Άttas more reliable by practitioners; avoid confusion and misunderstanding of the doctrine of Ratib al-Attas. The results showed that all 17 dhikr Ratib al-Άttas and the practice carried out are consistent with the arguments of al-Quran and Hadith. Based on this finding several suggestions is made to encourage the expend development of dhikr al-Άttas Ratib practice among the Muslim community in Malaysia.

Advertisement on signboards often revolves around issues pertaining to aggression sexual distractions and unhealthy lifestyle. Therefore the objective of this study is to analyze the compliance of sharia matter on signboards in Kelantan in accordance to the persuit of the motto which is ‘Developing with Islam’. This model may then be used as an exampalary model and maybe adopted to other states in Malaysia which stated that Islam as the formal religion in Malaysia. This qualitative analysis is done through observation and comparing the specifications on women and men who covers their aurat on the signboard advertisement based on al-Quran, hadith, and by elaboration of Muslim scholars. This research is done by 2019 only. Around 30 signboards has been reviewed in Kota Bharu and Pangkalan Chepa district. Kota Bharu was selected because it is urban capital administration area of Kelantan which located also state administration, office of chief minister, and Dewan Undangan Negeri or DUN Kelantan. Pengkalan Chepa has been selected as study location because of the location of domestic airport as the first access tourist to Malaysia. Study found that most of the advertisement signboard in Kelantan are fulfill the sharia compliant. There are two forms of advertisement signboard. The first is advertisement signboard that displays men and women in the form of covering aurat. The second is advertisement signboard that does not display any model. This type of advertisement also sharia compliant and has the human right value by avoiding human manipulation in advertisement. There is also advertisement sharia compliant involves non-Muslim also in two forms. The first form is advertisement involves in non-Muslim woman not wearing a head scarf but in proper attire without sexual attraction. The second form is advertisement involves in non-Muslim by wearing a head scarf with proper attire. Even the model is non-Muslim, it is also sharia compliant advertisement to avoid sexual attraction based on method ‘prevention from something bad or sin’ as ‘Sadd al-Dhara’i’’ in Islam. There are some advertisements of beauty product display women covering their veils with the tight wear. It is non-sharia compliant because hijab concept of Muslimah must be covering aurat and not tight. It is suggest that company of beauty product just display the woman body shape in the special catalogue for women only not in the advertisement signboard. As a conclusion, most of the advertisement signboards in Kelantan are sharia compliant. It can be a pioneer for another state in Malaysia application. It is also suggests to another researcher to study advertisement in social media, such youtube ads, facebook, instagram, advertisement in television and many more.
