Added the paging functionality to all the gallery pages as well a Favorites and Comments count to the pixel artist's personal gallery so they can quickly check to see if there are any comments on their work. Also added pixel art credits anywhere an icon appears.
We've got a few more improvements planned for the next couple of weeks so
send us a suggestion now if you have a great idea on how to improve the site.

0 Added 6 larger pixel art icons (75-100 pixels) in the past couple of weeks. Definitely a different feel than the 48x48 size.

0 We're getting some good feedback and a few submissions have started trickling in over the past week and a half. If you have any ideas on how to improve the pixel art community here at PixelJoint please
let us know while we're still motivated. And if you have any pixel art you'd like to share go ahead and
post it!

0 GameSpot has taken
an exhaustive look at the entire development process behind the upcoming Half-Life 2 release. Definitely worth a read if you are interested in how a cutting edge game is brought to fruition.

0 Worked out a few of the bugs so we are now ready to roll with pixel art submissions. You can submit any type of pixel art as long as it's between 10 and 100 pixels for both width and height and it's finished work.
There are still several enhancements planned so don't fret if it's a little clunky.

0 Beta be gone. You can now download the
first official release of Firefox. Firefox improves on Internet Explorer in several ways including the incredibly useful tabbed browsing feature and it's free!
One issue I have with using multiple browsers is Favorites/Bookmarks have no real portability. There is a tedious import process available, but when switching between browsers frequently your Favorites/Bookmarks will quickly become out of sync.

0 Is it just me or does the hype surrounding Halo 2 seem a little excessive? The first Halo was OK, but I don't see how anyone could compare Halo's multiplayer to Unreal Tournament 2003/2004. The graphics, sounds, gameplay, weapons, vehicles are all better in my humble opinion. It's got all that futuristic space crap too.
Consoles are definitely going to bring in a different crowd and it's cool that Halo and Halo 2 are exposing more casual gamers to the FPS genre. It would just be a shame if superior titles got looked over because of hype or platform.

0 We're in the middle of wrapping up a few tools that will allow easy member access to uploading and editing pixel art submissions. Adding the pixel art submit tool has been requested by a few people so hopefully we might see some submissions rolling in soon. Yay!
Right now the pixel art submitted must be between 10 and 100 pixels for both width and height. Maybe if there are enough requests we'll allow larger pixel art pieces in.
Many thanks to Greg, Hollis B. and Kel D. for their suggestions and contributions.

0 I didn't catch the polls last night, but I assume Nader smashed the competition.

1 The third installment in the insanely addictive Ratchet and Clank series is out today and it looks to be a beeeeeeeg one. This time around there's multiplayer, 2-D sidescrolling goodness and
a monkey helper. Can't beat that.
