Hello everyone! My name is elwis, and I want to share a project I've been working on all of last year: http://tapacron.com

The idea is to create a pixel art chronicle over decades, capturing popular events, persons and memes. The project is ad-free, non-commercial, purely for art.

How it works:

The canvas grows by 1 pixel every day starting from January 1, 2024.
When someone colors a pixel, others see it in real-time.
If a pixel isn't recolored for over 30 days, it freezes and stays that way forever. Pixels not frozen are marked with dots.
To draw, zoom in on the canvas.
Drag the palette for more colors.
No need to register; all pixels are anonymous.

Come on in, draw, and invite your friends! Let's create something epic together.

FUN FACT: The project is inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, the 70 metres long embroidered cloth that depicts the Norman Conquest of England in 1066.

The challenge chain continues. We are leaving the animation, keeping the RPG party, and adding RGB in some way.

Draw an RPG party of three characters. One has to be only red, one only green, and one only blue. You can choose any colour from the red, green, or blue spectrum for each character, respectively, but other sliders always have to be set to 0.
You have a maximum of 8 colours per character, and full black (RGB 0, 0, 0) is not allowed.

Try to find some correlation between the colour and the class, species, or role you choose.

Bonus challenge: draw them as figurines in a tabletop RPG, complete with bases and environments like grass or rocks.

No animation this time.

Canvas size: max. 333x333px.
Colours: max 25 (8 reds, 8 greens, 8 blues, and 1 transparency).
Transparency: required.
Animation: no.

The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.

This week, we are leaving the weird palette idea behind and combining an animation challenge with an RPG party.

Draw and animate a simple idle sequence (or a battle stance or any other character animation of your preference) of an RPG party of Three Little Pigs. Each pig has to represent a different RPG class or role and somehow be related to a different Three Little Pig theme: straw, wood, and brick.

Example of a 3LP RPG party:

1) Scarecrow, Rogue Straw Pig,
2) Wooden Armour Battle Boar Samurai,
3) Clay Brick Elemental Hog Monster.

If you do not have time this week, you can just copy the same animation three times and change colours and attributes.

Since this is already a lot to ask for, the palette limit will be set to max 30, so you can go wild, but if you feel more comfortable working on a small palette, go for it.

And of course, feel free to dive into a history of RPG Party challenges. If you have trouble finding them, ask here or on Discord.

Canvas Size: max. 300x300px.
Colours: max 30 (29 + transparency).
Transparency: required.
Animation: required.

The challenge thread will have all the challenge updates. The thread is also a great place to post your WIPs.
