Les listes constituent une forme d’ecriture tres presente dans les textes du Moyen Âge quels que ... more Les listes constituent une forme d’ecriture tres presente dans les textes du Moyen Âge quels que soient leur nature et leur genre. Cette forme syntaxique, graphique et semantique singuliere a ete l’objet d’une enquete collective menee dans le cadre d’un projet interdisciplinaire de recherche intitule le « POuvoir des LIstes au Moyen Âge », qui a beneficie du soutien de l’ANR. Trois volumes collectifs rassemblent les etudes de cas issus des ateliers organises dans le cadre de ce programme. Respectivement intitules Ecritures de la liste, Listes d’objets / listes de personnes et Listes, temps et espaces, ils explorent les usages sociaux de cette forme d’ecriture dotee de pouvoirs pragmatiques, poetiques et cognitifs. Ce premier volume propose une approche materielle de la liste qui vise a saisir la liste dans le rapport que son ecriture construit avec le support ainsi qu’avec les lieux demultiplies de son installation (pages, livres, murs, monuments, reliquaires, objets du quotidien, e...

In the middle ages, the ability to offer an oral commentary on Pierre Lombard's Books of Sentence... more In the middle ages, the ability to offer an oral commentary on Pierre Lombard's Books of Sentences was seen as an essential step in the training of masters of theology (maîtres régents). This was an exercise done by bachelors. While the first university statutes say little about this exercise, later statutes, particularly in the 14(th) century, suggest that it was carried out by following very strict guidelines. This article posits that students actually followed a number of « model commentaries » because the masters applied the methodology of exegesis. Looking at the manuscripts and their critical apparatus, this article offers a better understanding of the lectio of the Books of Sentences.
