Collective Consciousness

The hyperdimensional Infinite Spiral Staircase Theory (-ISST theory‖) rests on two basic premises. The first one posits a hyperdimension layer in all matter and biomatter systems, from particles to galaxies. The second predicates that, since the hyperdimension is triune, the sub-Planckian and superluminous energy that organizes it is in essence linked to consciousness. ISST theory postulates that all psi phenomena as well as altered states of consciousness instantiate the dynamics of the hyperdimensional syg-energy. Namely, they are driven by attraction, resonance and harmony, and defy locality. This essay trys to tackle the strangest dynamics of heightened consciousness, a type of mind coherence shown in telepathic-harmonic fields, in which a group experiences a shared mind-state, and compare them with the remarkable quantum coherence in Bose-Einstein condensates (-BCEs‖) as well as the resonances and scale-invariance found in natural systems. These dynamics are essentially linked to a higher and more harmonic organizational order, based on wave resonance, whether the atoms' waves all getting in phase and sharing the same quantum state as in BECs, or the periodic and logarithmic recurrence of the frequency of proton at higher scales. The author argues that they instantiate the workings of the enmeshed Rhythm-hyperdimension (hypertime) and Center-hyperdimension (hyperspace). Further, the author will explore a hypothetic texture of the hyperdimension as both layered and honeycombed.

Social media has redefined the way people communicate and socialise. Social networking sites like Facebook have achieved what other communication technologies failed, which is to imitate the social environment of the tribal village. This materialises the global village Marshall McLuhan predicted half a century ago.  The globalised world is often assumed as the actualisation of global village, but this view is problematic as a village by its defining characteristics cannot be global. It also overlooks McLuhan’s key emphasis that technologies promoting instantaneous oral communication replicate social conditions in a village that favour the “retribalization” of man.

On the basis that social media will increasingly encourage non-literate communication and social relationship will become the determining factor of inter-personal connections on the Internet, this study proposes that more and more people will gravitate towards communities online defined by unique and exclusive vernacular cultures. These “globalised villages” will be in the image of the tribal villages from which they derive cultural identity, except that they will not be not confined to a physical location but prosper in the global village ecology.

Using a multi-disciplinary approach and netnography (also known as online ethnography) as the method of research, this study examined im Teochew, a Facebook group linked to an overseas Chinese vernacular culture, and positively demonstrated its status as a globalised village and highlighted the ways its members use social media to preserve and promote their tribal identity. By reconciling the im Teochew Facebook group with its online environment and the collective consciousness of its members, it provided clarification into how the opposing concepts of global and village juxtapose in the context of social media.

It is the premise of this paper to show that if the collective
consciousness shifts towards Love, then Love/God will prescribe our Reality. Love's truth says that we are creatures bound together, unique, and interdependent, collectively created to be image barriers of Love. This Love reality eradicates "separateness" and is the antidote to the brokenness in the world.

There are few frames of reference more illuminating of individual and collective archetypal dynamics and psychological conditions than an archetypally informed knowledge of current planetary positions. In the following pages I would like to set out an overview of the major world transits of the outer planets that I believe are most relevant for understanding our current historical moment. In particular, I want to review both the most significant longer-term planetary alignments leading up to this era and, more recent, those that have unfolded since Cosmos and Psyche was completed five years ago, in 2005. This paper seeks to argue that for humanity to truly achieve happiness (not just in the personal terms of the individual, but also to make this a possibility for all members of the species and thus create a better world), a combination of the following main points must be striven for:
i) Our spiritual, physical, mental and emotional health as well as the right and/or opportunity to develop these 4 main domains must be present and readily accessible,

ii) The conditions of our environment, both our immediate urban surroundings as well as our natural environment, must be sustainably built or otherwise preserved and enhanced for posterity,

iii) The conditions in which other forms of life exist (both human and non-human) must be nurturing rather than destructive or oppressive,

iv) The current system, that current system being capitalism, is an anti-thesis to the points mentioned above and it is ultimately detrimental to all aspects of life and therefore, it should be abolished;

v) Thus, it should not only be a right but also a duty to stand up to oppression and self-serving corruption in order to overthrow the propertied class’ hold on societal resources and restore power to communities across the world.
This paper builds this argument by referring to, amongst several things, concepts linked to Buddhism, anarchy (i.e.: the lack of government) as an ideal mode of existence and generally, real-life scenarios and related observations that reflect this perspective on the world and human society. I hope this modest proposal proves to be fruitful reading.
Before proceeding any further, I would like to invite the reader to go through this paper in the spirit in which it was written, with an objective and analytical line of thought that attempted to free itself from conditioning and bias (to which degree I managed to do that, I’ll leave it up to you). You are completely free to disagree with the ideas, especially if you have a counter-argument that is rational. What shouldn’t be acceptable is the dismissal of the ideas in this paper based on what you’ve been told is true and has been perpetuated as dogma for several centuries.

“The Language Picture of the World” as a Fundamental Phenomenon of Modern Cognitive Linguistics

“The language picture of the world” is considered as a fundamental phenomenon of modern cognitive linguistics. Cognitive linguistics received this notion from philosophy and physics. Currently, the language picture of the world plays great role in studying relationships between the human and world that he lives in, the mind and the language.
It should be mentioned that every language has its unique general picture which is typical only to that language. This picture is perception scheme which is fixation of reality in language and specific to native speakers.

Language picture also is a means of universal, rational-specific understanding of this world. While encountering the picture of any language, it is possible to learn about national mentality, culture, and the way of thinking of the native speakers of that language.
The differences among language pictures appear in existence of certain concepts that are impossible to translate into other languages and spend their life within the limitations of the concrete languages. It is impossible to translate them into another language as the way they are. The relative concepts sould be found for this purpose. Therefore, anyone intending to enrich ideas about the world or look at the world from another nations perspective should learn the language of that nation.
The language picture of the world is closely connected to the conceptual picture of the world. The conceptual picture of the world reflects uniqueness of the human existence. The conceptual picture also reveals human’s relationships with the world and the conditions of its existence. On the other hand, the language picture of the world contains various picture of the human’s world and the general picture of the world.
The language picture of the world goes ahead of the othe specific pictures of the world (chemistry, physics etc.) and ensures their formation. Thus, human understands both the world, and himself by means of the language that carries all social-historical experiences. This experience is expressed in the meanings of words and utterances, behaviour norms fixated in language etc.

The above mentioned issues show the importance of learning the language picture of the world as one of the fundamental notions of cognitive linguistics.

This text develops a model based on network topology that can be used to analyze or engineer the structures and dynamics of an organization in which neuroprosthetic technologies are employed to enhance the abilities of human personnel. We begin by defining neuroprosthetic supersystems as organizations whose members include multiple neuroprosthetically augmented human beings. It is argued that the expanded sensory, cognitive, and motor capacities provided by ‘posthumanizing’ neuroprostheses may enable human beings possessing such technologies to collaborate using novel types of organizational structures that differ from the traditional structures that are possible for unaugmented human beings. The concept of network topology is then presented as a concrete approach to analyzing or engineering such neuroprosthetic supersystems. A number of common network topologies such as chain, linear bus, tree, ring, hub-and-spoke, partial mesh, and fully connected mesh topologies are discussed and their relative advantages and disadvantages noted.

Drawing on the notion of different architectural ‘views’ employed in enterprise architecture, we formulate a topological model that incorporates five views that are relevant for neuroprosthetic supersystems: the (1) physical and (2) logical topologies of the neuroprosthetic devices themselves; (3) the natural topology of social relations of the devices’ human hosts; (4) the topology of the virtual environments, if any, created and accessed by means of the neuroprostheses; and (5) the topology of the brain-to-brain communication, if any, facilitated by the devices. Potential uses of the model are illustrated by applying it to four hypothetical types of neuroprosthetic supersystems: (1) an emergency medical alert system incorporating body sensor networks (BSNs); (2) an array of centrally hosted virtual worlds; (3) a ‘hive mind’ administered by a central hub; and (4) a distributed hive mind lacking a central hub.

It is our hope that models such as the one formulated here will prove useful not only for engineering neuroprosthetic supersystems to meet functional requirements but also for analyzing the legal, ethical, and social aspects of potential or existing supersystems, to ensure that the organizational deployment of neuroprosthetic technologies does not undermine the wellbeing of such devices’ human users or of societies as a whole.

Standard accounts in social ontology and the group cognition debate have typically focused on how collective modes, types and contents of intentions or representational states must be con-strued so as to constitute the jointness of the respective agents, cognizers and their engagements. However, if we take intentions, beliefs or mental representations all to instantiate some mental properties, then the more basic issue regarding such collective engagements is what it is for groups of individual minds to share a mind. Somewhat surprisingly, this very issue has not re-ceived much attention in the respective debates and when it has, typically the outlook has been skeptical or outright negative. In this paper I argue that it is epistemologically possible for a group of individuals to literally share a single mental unit. In particular, I will put forward and defend what I shall call the zombie conception of group minds.

This paper combines cultural and anthropological perspectives, focusing on the affinity between the concepts of 'collective consciousness' (Durkheim) and 'collective unconcsciousness' (Jung). It argues that films are the dreams of charismatic auteur directors, who project their prophetic vision to a wider audience, in the Celluloid Church. These mechanically reproduced visions are based on eternal myths and archetypes, which symbolically reflect upon the contemporary industry/society that produces them. In this context, the paper focuses on film depictions of Billy the Kid as an archetype of the Self, with visual references to Jesus' Crucifixion and Lamentation, in order to illustrate the “spiritual” turn inwards Christianity as expressed in the collective consciousness of American culture, from the anti-communist 1950s, and through the spirituality of the 1960s and 1970s to the recent rise of Evangelical Christianity.

The question which is of great importance in human life is the work of the individual's entity and his curiosity of knowing the existing. All the questions emerge as a result of the problems and the secrets that remain unsolved. Bahtiyar Vahapzade's way of handling with the life also illuminates the questions that are directed to inner self and collective loss of consciousness. The questions being directed to inner self are the product of making the life meaningful and the effort of existing. On the other hand, the collective loss of consciousness causes to destroy both the country and the religion and to the slavery. In short, it causes to being alineated. The poet prefers questioning while composing what is going on as a poem. Inquiries make the reader/ the recipient think with the questions marks. In this study, the inner self of the poet who handles existing with its contrasts, and thus, the way of handling the collective consciousness community, the questioning of the effort of searching and resolution has been dealt with.

In a previous paper (Braud, Shafer, & Andrews, 1993), we reviewed the scientific literature dealing with the purported ability to detect when one is being watched or stared at by someone situated beyond the range of the conventional senses. Surveys indicated that between 68% and 94% of various samples reported having had staring detection experiences in their everyday lives. Previous investigations provided suggestive evidence that persons were indeed able to detect, consciously, when they were being stared at under conditions in which precautions were taken to eliminate possible subtle sensory cues. In particular, positive conscious-guessing results were obtained in two studies in which sensory cueing was eliminated through use of one-way mirrors (Peterson, 1978) and use of a closed-circuit television system (Williams, 1983). We hypothesized that stronger effects might be obtained if relatively "unconscious" auto-nomic nervous system activity were used as the indicator of staring detection, rather than conscious guessing. This paper reviews literature on women empowerment and collective consciousness theory and thereby offers a new approach to looking at women empowerment and leadership and strategies for the way ahead. It throws light on the need for a collective consciousness for bringing real empowerment at grass root level. It introduces a new model on women empowerment and leadership based on the ideology of three leading Indian women who have made their mark in contribution to the society and country.

This article deals with the collective consciousness of Russian society in Vladimir Nabokov’s “Invitation to a Beheading” from a socio-political approach with subtle touches to the novel’s historical background. The novel is made of a majority whose class consciousness of anxiety as a phenomenon is determined by the ideologies of communist and Marxist Bolshevism. From this perspective, characters’ individualities are deprecated to materiality in the imbroglio prevailing during the post-revolutionary period of Russia. As the reverberation of the centrifugal voices are ineluctable in monologic socio-political backgrounds, another-voiced gnostic turpitude (referring to cognition and epistemology), i.e. Cincinnatus’ deconstructive worldview becomes tragically dramatized in the rhetoric of the invitation to his beheading. The other-voicedness of the novel’s main character is charged with being opaque and to top it all off, sentenced to death on the ground that his mindset is not transparent (e.g. Freud analyzes the so-called “illusions” on which societies are based with the disclaimer that “any such venture is invalidated from the outset”). Worse is the ineptitude of language whenever Cincinnatus is to disabuse the abject position of man in the ravine of material society. The communication between the macrocosmic world of Cincinnatus and the cosmic world of the material-minded majority becomes abortive since the very nuance lies in the material/immaterial tenets both sides espouse in their theory of knowledge, and the very consequence of their coalescence becomes the tragic death of any consummating movement.

Povzetek

Življenje posameznikov in družbe kot celote je čedalje bolj prežeto z vse bolj naprednimi tehnološkimi orodji, včasih celo do take mere, da prihaja do spajanja človeško organskih in strojnih sistemov in ustvarjanja novih tipov entitet. V prispevku sta predstavljena dva primera uvajanja kognitivnih tehnologij (kognitivna biometrija in možganski vmesniki) in poskus izpostavitve nekaterih etičnih, pravnih in praktičnih dilem, ki izhajajo iz njihove uporabe. S tehnološkimi zmožnostmi se neizogibno širi ponudba izvorno nepredvidenih (a v dobi velikega podatkovja ne neuporabnih) uporabniških produktov omenjenih tehnologij, iz njihove uporabe pa vznikajo vedno novi načini poseganj v človekovo osebnost. Vse to zahteva hiter odziv v obliki celovite pravne ureditve problematike, ki bo na domišljen način vgradila ustrezna varovala pred nezakonito in neetično uporabo kognitivnih tehnologij v družbeni praksi.

Abstract

Increasingly advanced technological tools are becoming progressively integrated into the lives of individuals and society. The process of integration can even go to the extent, that technology merges with its user which can result in the creation of new types of entities. In this paper two examples of cognitive technologies are presented (cognitive biometrics and brain-computer interfaces) in the attempt to highlight some of the ethical, legal and practical dilemmas which arise from mentioned technologies in their use. Increasing accessibility and expansion of their usage will inevitably increase the potential for originally unforeseen problems and products of these technologies. Therefore, comprehensive measures in the form of a deliberated legal solutions, which will anticipate suitable safeguard against the unlawful and unethical use of cognitive technologies in social practice, should be employed without undue delay.

The film industry that developed at the end of the 19th century played a role in improving the masses, first visually and then aurally. The nation-states that became aware of this situation, especially Germany, began to use films in creating a collective national identity. As for Turkey, it became involved in the film industry with the contributions of Enver Paşa, who was under intense German influence. However, only documentaries, feature films, and films based on the Turkish national struggle were made until the 1950s. In the 1950s, there was an evolution in the film industry, as in every other area of Turkish life. Kostüme avantür films, a genre specific to Turkey using real or fiction characters whose stories were adapted into a film from comic strips, were introduced. These films based on historical figures attracted a great deal of attention between 1970-1980 along with the effect of internal and external political developments. Among these films, the Kara Murat series was especially prominent. The present study aims to look into the discourse on Turkish identity in the Kara Murat series within the scope of collective identity. In this regard, the Kara Murat series shown between 1972-1978 were subject to a discourse analysis based on such categories as identity, conqueror and Conquest, the “other”, and “us”. As a result of the study, it was seen that the Turkish identity discourse in these films was based on Ottoman history.

This paper maps relevant verses and concepts from the Holy Quran
to the COVID-19 pandemic and adversities in general. The findings of the
mapped verses are then linked to other relevant verses of the Quran, academic and newspaper articles, books, essays and scientific research in order to obtain a broader perspective of the arguments and rationales presented in the Quran. The Quran informs us that calamities of a global scale are consequences of human actions which in turn are a result of the
degeneration of the collective consciousness of humanity. However,
calamities can help trigger a correction of the collective consciousness. The Holy Quran also informs us that trials and tribulations can work like a filtration process to mark out the best individuals of a community and help in the development of humility.

This paper explores the significance of the relationship between the historic heritage building named Sunnyside and the unique narrative of the land. The argument flows from a case study involving a proposal to relocate the named building to a different location. In contrast, this study argues that relocation to a new site would generate a different story. For this purpose, it provides supportive historical evidence to show the close relational tie between the historic building, its actual site and the place-historical narrative. The hub of the discussion centres on the concept of spatial perspective and its contribution to the sustainability of the historic building in its current location as part of the grand-historical narrative. The ‘certainty’ realized in this autobiographical sketch has been proving fundamental to humanity's spiritual freedom from (what could become needless) suffering. I find when groups use their words to point to what is (non-verbally) felt and sensed (by all-of-us) that a commonly sensed empathic sensitivity emerges within each of us and all of us.


Through formless awakeness, without a body, heart, or mind in an N.D.E. at age four, combined with the realizations shared-here--as the basis for this discussion--and from forty-years of trial-and-error with groups (internationally), I learned to show anyone interested how to explore a commonly-sensed-empathy in-person, as well as online.
        As the founder/director of the Human Connection Institute (HCI) in 1990, I have collaborated with eminent scientists and educators throughout the world, conducting both objective and experiential research into the emergence of a commonly sensed consciousness. Provisional Conclusion: Consciousness exists as an intrinsic part of anything we do and is not by sheer chance THAT ANYTHING HAPPENS  “if” you acting "consciously" but still I have to consider "contradictory"  hopeless Nelson’s search for a deterministic application when what is evident to me that this is exactly what the intrinsic complexity of consciousness will never allow achieving to INDIVIDUAL humans (e.g. Julius Caesar).

PS: The beauty of my real-life experiment is that - UNLIKE NELSON'S ONE - I "simultaneously" cross-reference LOCAL/NON-LOCAL results at several Gödel layers: Individual. small local groups and the worldwide scale:).

The most notable media-centered events that DeLillo addresses in his fiction are Kennedy’s assassination in "Libra" (1988) and the World Trade Center terrorist attacks in "Falling Man" (2007). This work places DeLillo’s work in relation to media theory and the sociology of collective experiences built around historical moments. Hence, "Libra" and "Falling Man" are here explored through the larger conceptual framework of what Dayan and Katz labeled as media events (1980, 1992), occurrences of high social interest that become historic by virtue of being broadcasted. Furthermore, a second layer of analysis regarding mass-mediated productions and their consumption is based on the works and preoccupations of Marshall McLuhan (1964) and Jean Baudrillard (1983), and looks at the medium transmitting the information consumed by the audience, and at the idea of media-constructed hyperreality.

This paper focuses on the analysis of the psychology and the model of human behavior reflected in the works of M. Azuela and I. Babel. The novels "The ones of down" (M. Azuela) and "Red Cavalry" (I. Babel), dedicated to the revolution and the civil war, are explored within the framework of the social psychology. Theories of human behavior in the revolution, the aspect of motivation, and the socio-psychological mechanisms of its massive impact on the individual are considered. Similarly, the state of emotional stress that forces the masses to move was investigated. In the process of the "emotional whirlpool" and the "circular reaction" in progress, the voltage increases, which inevitably result to an explosion at the end (most of the time-of a violent nature). The parallel analysis of the researched works reveals that human behavior is determined by belonging to the consciousness of the masses or to the individual conscience. Individual consciousness and mass exist in a certain unity, but mass psychology, conquers the individual. In this case, a person becomes the "bearer of the mask" of the revolution.
