ተሽለው ተገኝተዋል፡፡ በሂደታዊ የመማር ዕድገትም በየደረጃው የተገኙ አማካይ ውጤቶች
ዕድገት እንዳለ አሳይተዋል፡፡ ይህም የአማራጭ ምዘናዎች የተማሪዎችን ድርሰት የመጻፍ
ችሎታ በማሻሻል ረገድ አዎንታዊ ሚና እንዳላቸው አሳይቷል፡፡ የጥናቱ አንድምታም
ተግባርተኮር ድርሰት የመጻፍ ትምህርት በአማራጭ ምዘናዎች መታገዝ እንዳለበት
አመላክቷል፡፡ በዚህም መሠረት አዋጭነት ያላቸው የድርሰት ማስተማሪያ ዘዴዎችና
የትግበራ ሂደቶች ተጠቁመዋል፡፡

A avaliação é um processo central no ensino e é através da avaliação que o professor pode perceber se a trajetória por ele desenhada resulta na aprendizagem pretendida. Com efeito, a avaliação constitui, cada vez mais, um fator fulcral da qualidade dos processos de aprendizagem sendo deles indissociável. Se as práticas tradicionais de avaliação são cada vez mais problematizadas no ensino presencial, existem hoje outros contextos de aprendizagem híbridos ou totalmente a distância, em que esta problematização se torna ainda mais premente. Considerando que a avaliação está sempre relacionada com o que se entende por ensinar e aprender, estes novos contextos de aprendizagem e as suas características têm determinado, em grande parte, o repensar dos modelos pedagógicos convencionais e consequentemente das práticas avaliativas. Este e-book reúne um conjunto de estudos desenvolvidos recentemente por diversos profissionais da educação, de Portugal e do Brasil, dando-lhe a visibilidade merecida e permitindo a outros recolher nestes trabalhos contributos para a consolidação teórica das novas perspetivas sobre a avaliação bem como favorecer o desenvolvimento de práticas inovadoras e profícuas que conduzam à melhoria do processo de aprendizagem. A obra aborda a questão da avaliação em diversos contextos, em diferentes níveis de ensino, em diferentes disciplinas e onde se procura, nos, primeiros capítulos, propor referenciais teóricos que permitam enquadrar o conjunto de estudos de natureza mais prática apresentado nos capítulos seguintes.
Este e-book, pretende ainda dar conta dos resultados da estreita colaboração existente entre a Universidade Aberta, com investigadores de universidades do Brasil que participam regularmente em atividades/projetos do Laboratório de Educação a Distância e Elearning, contribuindo para o aprofundamento e difusão da pesquisa realizada em ambos os países que em muito enriquece a produção científica e a desejável partilha de conhecimento.

In the field of assessing digital evaluation, the Competences Assessment Programme (PAC), proposed by Pereira, Oliveira & Tinoca (2010) was used as reference, a programme which reinforces the importance of using a variety of digital assessment strategies in the continuing pursuit for quality in higher education.
The present study focuses on the type of evaluation design of the Curricular Unit (CU) Learning Assessment, part of the third year curriculum of the Degree in Education of the Open University (Universidade Aberta). This CU reflects on the process of evaluation in education, defining concepts, practices and theoretical conceptions in the field of assessment, in an evolutive perspective. Assessment is addressed in a curricular form, supported by an approach through competences, in which the potentialities and limitations of different assessment instruments available to the teacher are studied. In this CU, in which the preferred evaluation regime is that of continuous education, it is suggested the student should present two e-folios (written essays in a digital form to be submitted to an online platform) during the semester, and one p-folio (final assessment moment to happen in person), which takes place at the end of the semester.
For the present study, the following objectives were defined: a) To analyse the online evaluation design suggested by the CU, taking into account the different dimensions of the referred competence assessment programme; b) To assess in what ways that design contributes to students' appreciation of the training value of assessment.
The present investigation is of qualitative nature, based on content analysis of the work presented by students (e-folios and p-folios), as well as of student and teacher participation in discussion forums. As a complement to the present study, an online questionnaire was used, aimed at students and applied at the end of the CU, to assess their degree of satisfaction concerning the way evaluation was conducted.
The results highlighted the following: prior knowledge of the assessment strategy in the CU; relevance of topics and the diversity of the tasks proposed; the feedback provided by teachers; development of meta-cognitive competences and the suggestion of the application of alternative assessment instruments.
It is our intention to discuss theses results in the light of the different dimensions which compose the programme in question, based on the choice of suggestions to be put forward to promote quality in the design of digital assessment.

The authors propose an alternative to in-class exams (ICEs) based on the higher-order levels of Bloom's taxonomy as well as both constructive and professional alignment. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, instructors were faced with restructuring both their teaching and assessment. The paper argues that takehome exams (THEs) tailored to the necessities of individual courses are advantageous to an online learning environment in comparison to an ICE and the pitfalls that accompany it, such as online proctoring, lower-level assessment, and the relative lack of constructive/professional alignment. In addition, THEs provide instructors with the possibility to utilize a variety of multimodal material that authentically reflect learner-centered assessment. The authors will continue to implement THEs post-pandemically as they allow for incorporating activities and strategies that are useful to students in their teaching careers.

No âmbito da avaliação digital constitui-se como referência o Programa de Avaliação de Competências (PAC) proposto por Pereira, Oliveira & Tinoca (2010), no qual é evidenciada a importância de recorrer a uma variedade de estratégias de avaliação digital, na busca incessante da qualidade no ensino superior. O estudo apresentado situa o seu foco no design de avaliação da Unidade Curricular (UC) Avaliação das Aprendizagens, integrada no terceiro ano da Licenciatura em Educação da Universidade Aberta. Nesta UC reflete-se sobre a avaliação em educação, particularizando conceitos, usos e conceções teóricas da avaliação, numa perspetiva evolutiva. A avaliação é evidenciada num cenário curricular apoiado numa abordagem por competências, estudando-se ainda as potencialidades e limitações de diferentes instrumentos de avaliação, à disposição do professor.
