Energy Industry

We examine how corporate reporting regimes can facilitate technology-enabled green financing to achieve sustainable development goals. To this end, we evaluate through a comparative analysis, whether an 'E' (i.e. environmental) disclosure should be mandatory, voluntary, or hybrid, and identify the normative and economic bases for the chosen model. We also explore the issue of 'materiality' in reporting and the rationale for removing the distinction between financial and non-financial information in the forthcoming EU directive. Furthermore, we discuss how such information facilitates greentech development ie sustainalytics, which can incentivise the energy industry to achieve the net-zero target and mobilise financial market participants in this joint global initiative. Lastly, we investigate different modes of enforcement mechanism and how the current enforcement arrangements may be affected by the new EU directive. We find that the European Union's hybrid model can facilitate the development of data analytics to achieve the sustainable goals. Policy recommendations are provided.

Evropska povelja o lokalnoj samoupravi (EPLS) usvojena je dana 15.10.1985. godine u Strazburu, od strane država članica Savjeta Evrope. Od 47 država članica Savjeta Evrope, EPLS potpisalo je i ratifikovalo 44 države, u koje spadaju i sve države članice Evropske unije. Stoga je ovaj međunarodni dokument i njegova primjena u Crnoj Gori itekako u vezi sa procesom integracije Crne Gore u EU.

Naime, zemlje članice Savjeta Evrope prepoznale su važnost lokalne samouprave kao jedne od glavnih osnova svakog demokratskog sistema, a učešće građana u obavljanju javnih poslova kao jedan od važnijih demokratskih principa, koji se najneposrednije može ostvariti na lokalnom nivou. Takođe, utvrđeno je da to podrazumijeva postojanje lokalnih vlasti, sa demokratskim konstituisanim organima za donošenja odluka i visokim stepenom autonomije u pogledu njihovih odgovornosti, načinima i sredstvima putem kojih se ove odgovornosti izvršavaju, kao i resurse potrebne za njihovo ostvarenje .

Prema čl. 12 EPLS, svaka država potpisnica prihvata (ratifikuje) najmanje dvadeset stavova prvog dijela EPLS, od kojih će bar deset biti odabrano među sljedećim stavovima: član 2, član 3 st. 1 i 2, član 4 st. 1, 2 i 4, član 5, član 7 stav 1, član 8 stav 2, član 9 st. 1, 2 i 3, član 10 stav 1, član 11. Crna Gora ratifikovala je EPLS Zakonom o potvrđivanju Evropske povelje o lokalnoj samoupravi, koji je objavljen u "Službenom listu CG - Međunarodni ugovori", br. 5/2008 od 7.8.2008. godine. Pri tom, Crna Gora obavezala se da prihvata odredbe člana 2, člana 3 stav 1 i 2, člana 4 stav 1, 2, 4 i 6, člana 5, člana 6 stav 1, člana 7 stav 1 i 3, člana 8 stav 1, člana 9 stav 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 i 8, člana 10 stav 1, 2 i 3 i člana 11. Ratifikacijom EPLS Crna Gora se obavezala da uskladi svoje zakonodavstvo sa prihvaćenim odredbama EPLS.

U ovom radu poseban fokus stavljan je na pitanje finansiranja lokalne samouprave. S obzirom da funkcionisanje lokalne samouprave ponajviše zavisi od raspoloživih sredstava za finansiranje njenih poslova, kao i da “istinska i prava autonomnost lokalnih kolektiviteta se prvenstveno ostvaruje i realizuje kroz njihovu finansijsku snagu, kroz pravo da donose budžet, da uvode određene javne prihode u okviru zakonom ustanovljenog sistema javnih prihoda i da im određuju visinu, kao i da imaju ‘budžetsko pravo’ da prikupljena sredstva mogu samostalno raspoređivati na javne potrebe” , biće zanimljivo vidjeti koliko dosljedno se član 9 EPLS (Finansijska sredstva lokalnih vlasti) primjenjuje u Crnoj Gori, naročito imajući u vidu da je ovaj član EPLS ratifikovan u cjelosti (svih osam stavova). Analiza će se zasnivati na analizi primjene svih osam stavova člana 9 EPLS pojedinačno.

Takođe, na početku ovog rada osvrnućemo se na opšte postavke sistema finansiranja lokalne samouprave u Crnoj Gori, a pri samom kraju izdvojićemo neke karakteristične probleme sa kojima se crnogorske opštine suočavaju u nastojanju da obezbijede adekvatna finansijska sredstva za obavljanje svojih poslova.

The links between energy and economic growth, poverty alleviation, environmental and climate impact are becoming more visible. For most of the global economy, energy has become one of the strategic factors that influence the making of business decisions. In the energy industry, there is a growing demand for innovative, climate-friendly technologies for the production of heat and electricity. As energy becomes a strategic factor in the global competition, it can be an opportunity for the country's competitive advantage. In recent years, Serbia has been taking an increasing share in the use of biomass energy because it understands that biomass has both economic and environmental benefits of energy exploitation. According to the available data, almost half of the primary energy needs in Serbia could be from the potential of renewable energy.

I. Possibility of 'Cheating Nature'


1. It was thought as late as the 2010's  that there was nothing more efficient than a permutation or a turning wheel. However, if an exception presented itself, it would mean something important. However, no concept really existed to explain the possibility. The closest analogy was a perpetual motion machine, but perpetual motion machines were thought not to work.


2. In Feb and Nov 2013 Nathan Coppedge invented the theoretical concept of exponential efficiency in the process of finding examples of the same. Even without referring to the examples, the general idea of making an efficiency that is exponentially efficient suggests improving at least some kinds of efficiency to a point where there could be something more efficient than a wheel or permutation. All that were needed were examples, and this is what Nathan found in 2013. But dismissing great examples without understanding them is not a fair argument, the burden of proof now rested on the opposing scientists. And, in a way, that was all that needed to initially be proved as perpetual motion was thought to be impossible by the scientists.


II. Necessity of Proportionality


1. A version of close to 1/2 mass X distance follows from experiment (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMihSRllvZY&app=desktop) under low friction conditions, and when trigger mass is directed vertically rather than horizontally, and effected mass is always more horizontal than 45 degrees, usually by a huge margin (in rare cases 22.5 degrees rather than more like 1.1 - 9.9). Instances of the more vertical end tend to be rare, one example was found by Nathan Coppedge in 2014 while at a shopping mall, the simpler version involving a shallower angle was only proven in a simple satisfactory form in Oct 2019 as though a barrier had been lifted).


2. Given the existence of other combinable cheating methods such as leverage, balances, difference of mass, and pulleys, it follows from 1/2 mass X distance that since a larger mass csn be moved by a smaller mass and motion takes place from rest, perpetual motion can be created if proportionality can be overcome. This is in part because a working proportionality could be built physically and could incorporate multiple overlapping 'cheating' methods.


3. However, proportionality CAN be overcome by analogy to a circle. Completing a cycle of motion is clearly physically possible, even more so in three-dimensionality than two-.


III. Energy in Some Cases


1. Proving energy is as simple as proving two-directional natural momentum (from rest). However, this is not necessarily easy. I have found it can be done (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao0pIBVKjDo&list=PLcttXCrYoAgP88CiJ3ibPqVl1FjlAAIdi&index=9&app=desktop).


2. Consider a 3X lever counterweighted on the short end may have 1X additional structural mass on the long end. If the leverage applied on the long end  to a ball by the mass on the short end is greater than 2.5X and less than 4X the mass of ball being moved, and the long end has the additional 1X structural mass, the 1X ball will begin to move by the force of the mass on the short end at 3X leverage distance if the 1X ball is positioned on a slotted track operated by the lever that is mostly horizontal but slightly upwards sloped (although under some conditions this is hard to prove). For example, 3 X leverage X 1 mass for ball / 2 for support is 1.5X mass + 1 for additional weight is 2.5 X effective mass. If counterweight is greater than 2.5X it may move ball under some conditions.


3. However, if ball is unsupported at the same amount of leverage, it has higher effective mass. 3 X leverage X 1X mass = 3X effective leversge + 1 additional structursl mass of lever means that if counterweight on short end is less than 4X mass of ball, then ball can lift counterweight when ball is supported by lever without the slotted track support (under some conditions).


4. Now we have proven there is two-directional motion in at least one case. And since the weight of the lever is accounted for and motion takes place from rest, it does not assume absolutely ideal physics, just fairly good conditions. Actual operation may depend on the size of the mass window and whether friction can be overcome in a case similar to a low-friction balance, which I suggest IS possible, although the practical window may be smaller than stated, and my example is one of the better cases.

The financial viability of MOL’s strategy 2030and its effect on shareholder value
THE AIM OF THE PAPER In my paper, I examine the expected effects of MOL’s 2030 strategy on the company’s shareholder value. Will MOL Group be able to generate a suitable corporate value, if a shift in fossil era comes, or cannot deal with the upcoming future?
METHODOLOGY I took into consideration the relevant literature and international standards. What always common is that the DCF method is the most methodologically appropriate. Within the DCF method I chose the ECF model, because the shareholder value directly derives from it.MOL’s 2030 strategy mentions four investments that are essential for shareholder value: develop-ment of refineries, plastic and artificial rubber factories and expansion of the Fresh Corner chain. It also underlines that electric cars could repress the sale of conventional fuels. I am therefore exam-ining the effects of these strategy elements and the growing number of electric cars individually, as well as collectively on the shareholder value, at the present value 2017.
MOST IMPORTANT RESULTS According to my analysis, the possible shift in the use of fossil fuels will not affect the implementa-tion of the strategy, the effects of investment projects and the fact of spreading e-vehicles, together have an increasing impact of 2.93% on shareholder value. However, contrary to MOL’s expecta-tions, individual projects will not all be reimbursed by 2030, reimbursement can only be stated with an attention to the whole strategy.
RECOMMENDATIONS My testing method can be generalised within the industry, since in developed economies oil com-panies face the same trends, only company-specific parameters need to be correctly inserted. For projects that are not reimbursed at MOL until 2030, it is recommended to define a longer time frame.

Este trabalho tem por finalidade verificar os impactos da utilização de planilhas eletrônicas, como solução dos problemas relacionados a processos de saúde ocupacional. Para realização desse estudo, foi desenvolvida uma solução informatizada em Excel/VBA seguindo um modelo de desenvolvimento e gerenciamento de sistemas de informação, cujos objetivos e requisitos essenciais devem otimizar o processo de convocação para realização do exame médico periódico, dos trabalhadores de uma indústria petrolífera. Para tal tarefa foram estudados os métodos descritos por Laudon e Laudon, entre outros autores, cuja referência bibliográfica, permitiu uma análise ampla sobre as etapas necessárias para um desenvolvimento eficiente de soluções sistêmicas. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa exploratória, cujos conceitos estudados foram adequados ao processo de soluções de problemas. O estudo mostrou que planilhas eletrônicas, desenvolvidas em Excel/VBA, são uma alternativa interessante para otimização de processos específicos de saúde ocupacional, quando utilizadas como sistemas complementares, e que o modelo de desenvolvimento de sistemas de informação é uma boa alternativa para identificação, análise de alternativas e implementação de soluções dos problemas de gestão de saúde ocupacional.
