Esta investigación sistematiza la teoría del conocimiento sensible humano de Leonardo Polo. En la primera parte se explica brevemente la axiomátización del conocimiento que hace el autor en estudio como clave hermenéutica de toda su teoría del conocimiento. Luego, en la segunda parte se pasa a explicar cada uno de los sentidos externos e internos con los que se corresponde el conocimiento sensible. Al final se hace un apunte sobre los sentimientos sensibles.
This research systematizes the theory of human sensitive knowledge of Leonardo Polo. The first part briefly explains the axiomatization of the knowledge that the studying's author do as a hermeneutical key to all his theory of knowledge. Then, in the second part, each of the external and internal senses is explained, those correspond to the sensitive knowledge. In the end a note is made about sensitive feelings.

Through history, numerous events have taught us that the beliefs we once thought to be certainties were in fact mistaken, due to a lack of information. Still, in many occasions we tend to fall into the same cycle, believing that this time around we are actually on the right side of things, and that our newly acquired knowledge is a part of the progression to the betterment of humanity. The present research simply intends to present an example from the popular world of sports that shows how little we actually know about some of the simplest of things, and how one single case is enough to disregard decades of assumed scientific certainty. This interdisciplinary approach to Usain Bolt's case only attempts to shed some light in our ignorance, and specially in our pretentious assumptions regarding human knowledge.

With the abilities and great capacity human kind has unique position in the universe and they have potential to be better than any other created beings. There is no doubt that what makes them unique and superior is that they can represent the names and attributes of God and through this capacity they are capable to understand God better than any other beings. Through examining the attributes of mankind, one may have an idea about the attributes of God. Although one's attributes are limited and dependent, God is eternal and independent. Nevertheless there is a relationship between God and his servants in terms of representing Him in the human dimension. God can see, hear, know etc. everything and in order to understand these facts, human beings compare their seeing, hearing, knowledge etc. to God and have an idea about the Eternal One based on their limited abilities. The names and attributes which are used to define God are also used for human kind to show them their value and remind them of their responsibilities. God acknowledges human kind as capable by defining them with these names. Human thought gives meaning to the names of God and also discuss whether these names are suitable to name God. When doing this, they benefit from their own experiences.

Multidisciplinarity is one of the salient features of contemporary science. This seems to be congruent with the globalization process as the globalized world will need a "global" science that is able to integrate and to unite various fields in order to solve fundamental problems. It may be said that, in some sense, the History & Mathematics almanac is "genetically" interdisciplinary as it was initially designed as a means to contribute to the construction of a bridge be-tween the humanities, social, natural, and mathematical sciences (see the Introduction to its first Russian issue [Гринин, Коротаев, Малков 2006: 4–11]). That time this very combination of words – History and Mathematics – might have looked a bit artificial. However, it gradually becomes habitual; what is more, it becomes to be recognized as quite an organic and important scientific phenomenon. This appears to be supported by the point that the recent two years have evidenced the publication of eight issues of the History & Mathematics almanac in Russian and two issues in English. Various conferences in this direction are held now quite regularly, and, what is especially promising, they bring together representatives of very diverse fields of human knowledge. One of the most recent conferences of this kind was held in December 2009 in the Institute of History and Archaeology (Ekaterinburg, Russia). The conference has confirmed the existence of a critical mass of researchers within the world science that apply mathematical and quantitative methods to the study of history. Against this background the current discussions on the establishment of the Mathematical History academic journal do not appear coincidental.

This article analyses the concept of "light" in its historical development between two possibilities of explanation: the physical view considers light as an accident, like a quality of substance; the second, metaphysical view, shows it as a source of divine influence. Specifically, in the case of Bonaventure the doctrine of light appears as a synthesis of Aristotelian and Neoplatonic elements. Bonaventure's option for the Aristotelian hylemorfism is the basis for a universal pluralism of substantial forms, in which light assumes later the role of a transcendental condition for certainty in our knowledge. Also, this certitudinalis cognitio is presented in Bonaventure's thought as a tendency to good. If the light of God has a fundamental influence in the acquirement of truth and human knowledge tends to good as final cause, so there is a connection between good and light. In considering this, an attempt is made to propose the transcendental as essential part of Bonaventure's contribution to one ―although not systematic― metaphysics of light, through the convertibility of good and the true in the notion of sapientia.

The human subject in as much as he knows transforms the sensitive and concrete (the thing perceived) into abstract (an image of the thing perceived), the abstract into an idea (imaginative representation of the thing abstracted), and ideas into contents of conscience (meanings). The last step in the creation of meanings, something being executed in the speech act, consists in fixing the construct mentally created thus making it objectified meanings in the conscience of speakers. The interchange amongst the different steps in the creation of meaning manifests lógos, the state lived by speakers in their interior when speaking, created and developed in words and because of words.
