The inherent dynamical in grid computing has made it extremely difficult to come up with near-optimal solutions to efficiently schedule tasks in grids. Task Scheduling plays crucial role in Grid computing. It is a challenge-able issue among scientists to achieve better results especially in makespan based on various AI methods. Nowadays, non deterministic algorithms provide better results for these tasks. In this study the task scheduling problem in Grid computing environments has been addressed. In this paper, Queen Bee Algorithm is used for resolving scheduling problem and the obtained results are compared with several Meta–heuristic Algorithms which are developed to solve the problem. As it illustrated, queen bee algorithm is declined considerably makespan and execution time parameters rather than others in different states.

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is well known for distributed real time systems for various applications. In order to handle the increasing functionality and complexity of high resolution spatio-temporal sensory database, there is a strong need for a system/tool to analyse real time data associated with distributed sensor network systems. There are a few package/systems available to maintain the near real time database system/management, which are expensive and requires expertise. Hence, there is a need for a cost effective and easy to use dynamic real-time data repository system to provide real time data (raw as well as usable units) in a structured format. In the present study, a distributed sensor network system, with Agrisens (AS) and FieldServer (FS) as well as FS-based Flux Tower and FieldTwitter, is used, which consists of network of sensors and field images to observe/collect the real time weather, crop and environmental parameters for precision agriculture. The real time FieldServer-based spatio-temporal high resolution dynamic sensory data was converted into Dynamic Real-Time Database Management System (DRTDBMS) in a structured format for both raw and converted (with usable units) data. A web interface has been developed to access the DRTDBMS and exclusive domain has been created with the help of open/free Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools in Extendable Markup Language (XML) using (Hypertext preprocessor) PHP algorithms and with eXtensible Hyper Text Markup Language (XHTML) self-scripting. The proposed DRTDBMS prototype, called GeoSense DRTDBMS, which is a part of the ongoing IndoJapan initiative ‘ICT and Sensor Network based Decision Support Systems in Agriculture and Environment Assessment’, will be integrated with GeoSense cloud server to provide database (dynamic real-time weather/soil/crop and environmental parameters) and modeling services (crop water requirement and simulated rice yield modeling). GeoSense-cloud server has been developed with Opera-Unite for file sharing, web server (with cost effective web server tools Windows Apache MySQL PHP-WAMP and X -any operating systems Apache MySQL PHP and Perl –XAMPP), file upload, and web proxy functionalities. Currently, the GeoSense DRTDBMS is useful to the rural farming community for ubiquitous decision making in precision agriculture aspects. In future, this DRTDBMS system could be used in climate/environmental systems to understand the micro-climatic variations in real-time mode.

"Networks are mathematically directed (in practical applications also undirected) graphs and a graph is a one-dimensional abstract complex, i.e., a topological space. Network theory focuses on various topological structures and properties, dynamic properties, and functionality-topology relationship, etc. There are some common mathematical foundations, theories and methodology for network analysis, in which graph theory, statistics, and operational research, etc., are the fundamental sciences of network analysis. Various emerging biological networks, at both micro- and macro- levels, will provide numerous sources for the development of general network theory and methodology and also facilitate the development of theory and methodology of biological networks.

Biological network analysis is a fast moving science. Many core scientific issues, for example, ecological structure, co-evolution, co-extinction and biodiversity conservation in ecology, and cancer development and metabolic regulation in health science, etc., are expected to be addressed by network approaches and network analysis. Network analysis is becoming the core methodology to treat complex biological systems. As the fast development of this area, more and more papers on biological networks are published.

At present explosive numbers of quality papers on biological networks are being published each year. The initiation of the journal, Network Biology, will provide a public and unified platform for the publication of these studies. From this integrated and unique journal, researchers, university teachers and students will thoroughly have an in-depth and complete insight on knowledge, methodology and recent advances of biological networks.

In the view of system dynamics, biological networks are always self-organized systems with emergent, autonomous and adaptive properties. Their dynamics can be represented by agent-based modeling, individual-based modeling and some other methodologies like neural network modeling. Therefore, agent-based modeling, individual-based modeling, self-organization of biological systems, and neural network modeling, etc., fall into the aims and scope of the journal, Network Biology.

The NETWORK BIOLOGY (ISSN 2220-8879) is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal that considers scientific articles in all different areas of network biology. It is the transactions of the International Society of Network Biology.It dedicates to the latest advances in network biology. The goal of this journal is to keep a record of the state-of-the-art research and promote the research work in these fast moving areas. The topics to be covered by Network Biology include, but are not limited to:

•Theories, algorithms and programs of network analysis
•Innovations and applications of biological networks
•Dynamics, optimization and control of biological networks
•Ecological networks, food webs and natural equilibrium

The organizer of a special issue can collect submissions (yielded from a research project, a research group, etc.) on a specific research topic, or submissions of a scientific conference for publication of special issue.

The number of passengers traveling in Indian Railways is increasing very rapidly. Among those people, there are some set of persons who travel regularly in the General Compartment. IRCTC has created an online platform for booking tickets of Reserved Compartments. The customers who travel in General Compartment still face an issue because they are supposed to wait in Long Queues at Ticket Counters to purchase tickets. In this proposed system we aim to provide a solution where passengers traveling in the General Compartment have a facility to book their travel tickets online using an Android Application.
