Media is everywhere and we live immerse “in” it (Deuze, 2012). Interface design is working on diluting boundaries between human and machines (HCI), incorporating the devices in our daily life by ful lling our motivations and, at the same time, generating interactions to arise them.
Wonder, love, hate, desire, joy, and sadness; the six primary passions of the soul described by Descartes (1649) are increasingly incorporated in the mobile interface design and construction of messages, altering the way our brain, and speci cally our memory, deals with general content and personal data.
It has already been proven the connection between emotions and health, being our brain the technology that links both (MIT). Also it has been recently demonstrated the relation between memories and place – process of episodic memory formation - (Meyer, 2014). Then, we have wearable technologies and media life, o ering constant motivations to our desires and feelings. Therefore, as much as they could ful ll them, we would incorporate them too in our routine. Thus, emotion and motivation seem to be key elements and technologies should work as our brain to stablish the proper connection between users and interfaces.

Computers, the Internet, smartphones, and telecommunication technologies have all changed the way we live—how we think, socialize, entertain, work, teach, learn, and train as well. One of the modern ICT trends of organizations involve the integration of e-learning, in general, and online training systems, in particular, as new methods for delivering training programs/courses online. This longitudinal study aimed to scrutinize and assess the reaction-based satisfaction level, indeed the first level of Kirkpatrick’s classic 4-level evaluation research model, of Kuwait University’s (KU’s) students regarding the online training system service provided by KU to its faculty, students, and employees alike. A total of 700 undergraduate students from the College of Education (COE) at KU participated in this study. Even though the majority of the participants, 97.4 percent, were not aware about the online training system service. However, the findings demonstrate that the reaction-based satisfaction level of KU’s students is significantly high. Students’ feelings, perceptions, and attitudes toward e-training courses are significantly encouraging. KU’s students consider the contents/materials provided in the online training courses as being pertinent and useful to their work/study. They were satisfied with what they learn using the online training system. The majority of the participants, about 95 percent, asserted that they are eager to take more training courses offered online.

Employee handbooks play a critical role in helping organizations manage their human capital. The employee handbook policies typically addresses key business, legal, and talent management areas. The survey report further noted that in many organizations there is disconnect between the drafting and issuing of handbook policies and the practices that ensure those policies are effectively implemented.

Advances in technology are enabling different and interesting ways of experiencing education outside the traditional classroom. For example using network technology it is possible for people to follow courses remotely via technologies such as eLearning, podcasts and 3D virtual learning environments. This paper describes research towards the integration of some cutting edge concepts, such as mixed reality, learning design, cloud learning and 3D environments that we have utilised to form a novel InterReality portal and associated pedagogical model. Our InterReality model applies Problem-based Learning (PBL) pedagogy, including co-creative learning, to the realization of a mixed reality laboratory environment for teaching embeddedcomputing and emerging computing applications such as the Internet-of-Things. Moreover our model proposes the use of learning design to structure the tasks and activities, their assignment to roles, and their workflow within a unit of learning (UoL) approach to allow a standardised learning activity construction, and re-use. The main contributions of this paper are the InterReality model and architecture and the supporting pedagogical analysis and rationale.
