La extracción del oro en PAD de lixiviación es una operación que cada vez se utiliza más para la extracción del metal de sus menas. Esto se realiza, evidentemente, por los bajos costos de procesamiento por este método, entre otros motivos. La recuperación del oro por PAD es siempre baja comparada con la recuperación por lixiviación en tanques de agitación. La lixiviación de finos siempre es un problema por la canalización de la solución lixiviante y la formación de charcos o «cochas». Esto genera bajas recuperaciones y, sobre todo, ante la presencia de arcillas en el mineral, perjudican aún más la recuperación de oro de estas menas.

El procesamiento en pilas de lixiviación requiere siempre pruebas de investigación en pro de la mejora en la recuperación de oro en la lixiviación. Para lograrla, se realizan pruebas de optimización de los parámetros. Esta experiencia relaciona el aporte de nitrato plumboso, en la recuperación por lixiviación en PAD de mineral aglomerado  comparado, con dicho proceso sin el aporte de esta sal.

Las pruebas metalúrgicas buscan evaluar el aporte de nitrato de plomo añadido en pequeñas cantidades en la mejora de la extracción de oro y plata, muy a aparte de su amplio uso en la activación de zinc en el proceso Merrill Crowe. Las pruebas de aglomeración fueron realizadas con diferentes variantes, tomando en consideración el tamaño del aglomerado formado, así como en la composición de la mezcla y con variación en los curados de la misma comparada con un proceso de lixiviación sin el proceso de aglomeración.

El principal motivo de la experiencia es determinar el porcentaje de mejora en la recuperación de oro en solución con el uso de sales de plomo. Los compuestos probables de plomo son en su mayoría insolubles en soluciones acuosas, el nitrato de plomo y el acetato de plomo son los dos productos que son muy solubles en agua.

El proceso de lixiviación en columna trabajó con ratio de riego de 8 y 10, y mostró mejoras en la recuperación de oro y plata. Se realizaron varias pruebas de lixiviación con diferentes dosificaciones de nitrato de plomo, teniendo como mejor resultado la experiencia en la cual la dosificación de nitrato de plomo fue de 30g/TM de mineral de cabeza. El aumento porcentual de recuperación con la adición de nitrato de plomo fue de hasta 7,58 % promedio, con respecto al no uso de este reactivo, variante que nos llevó a realizar pruebas adicionales que corroboren dichos resultados.

Los resultados obtenidos muestran la efectividad del nitrato de plomo en la recuperación de oro por lixiviación al atacar a los minerales de antimonio y arsénico, que se encuentran en pequeñas cantidades en los minerales auríferos, manteniendo los mismos parámetros de operación que sin su adición en el proceso de lixiviación.

Las pruebas experimentales se desarrollaron en los laboratorios de procesamiento de minerales e hidrometalurgia de Tecsup, así como parte de los análisis químicos y el resto de los análisis fue derivado a un laboratorio certificado para el contraste de ensayes.

Starting from the concept of "affective dependence", this work has shown that this nosography cannot be reduced to a categorization in the list of behavioral dependencies, even if it has in common clinical and neurobiological aspects that could be misleading. In fact, the dependent manifestation is nothing more than a symptom that from time to time represents a specifi c element in various personality disorders, becoming the central focus of dependent personality disorder. The analytical approach must, therefore, be multidimensional, precisely to better understand all aspects of affective dependence and how it colors the manifested disorder from time to time. From affective dependence to personality disorders, in relation to the dynamics of human bonding, to the implications determined by attachment theory, in a framework of diagnostic transversality, to the best possible therapy, always integrated between psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. The Perrotta Affective Dependence Questionnaire (PAD-Q), with 35 items, on a 0-5 scale, aims to study the phenomenon of "affective dependence", defi ning it instead as a maladaptive model of the affective-sentimental relationship of a couple, which involves the establishment or persistence of a clinically signifi cant bond, lasting at least six months and characterized by a functional impairment of the relational area, the emotional area and the somatic area.

We have previously shown that MyD88 KO mice appear protected from ischemic muscle injury while TRIF KO mice exhibit sustained necrosis after femoral artery ligation (FAL). However, our previous data did not differentiate whether the protective effect of absent MyD88 signaling was secondary to attenuated injury after FAL or quicker recovery from the insult. The purpose of this study was to delineate these different possibilities. On the basis of previous findings, we hypothesized that MyD88 signaling promotes enhanced inflammation while TRIF mediates regeneration after skeletal muscle ischemia. Our results show that after FAL, both MyD88 KO mice and TRIF KO mice have evidence of ischemia, as do their control counterparts. However, MyD88 KO mice had lower levels of serum IL-6 24 h after FAL, while TRIF KO mice demonstrated sustained serum IL-6 up to 1 week after injury. We adapted and optimized a method to quantify the cellulose, hemicellulose, xylan, arabinan, mannan, galactan contents in lignocellulosic biomass. This method is based on a neutral detergent extraction (NDE) of the interfering biomass components, followed by a sulfuric acid hydrolysis (SAH) of the structural polysaccharides, and a liquid chromatography with charged aerosol detection (LC-CAD) to analyze the released monosaccharides. The first step of this NDE-SAH-LC-CAD method aims at removing all compounds that interfere with the subsequent sulphuric acid hydrolysis or with the subsequent chromatographic quantification of the cellulosic and hemicellulosic monosaccharides. Arsenic is constantly present in drinking water supply systems of Zrenjanin municipality across decades. It presents a great public health problem in Serbia, but its relationship with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) has not been studied previously.The aims of this study were to assess the incidence of ACS in two areas from Zrenjanin municipality consuming different levels of arsenic in drinking water, and to explore the association between arsenic exposure and the probability of fatal outcome of ACS.The research was a registry-based ecological study of two populations consuming water with different arsenic levels, based on current guidelines (10 μg/L). Median arsenic in the area above national standard was 80 μg/L; median arsenic in the other area was 1 μg/L. Newly diagnosed cases of ACS were obtained from the National Registry for Acute Coronary Syndrome from 2006 to 2010.The two populations were comparable by age, gender, and prevalence of risk factors for ACS. Standardized incidence rates (SIR) of ACS were higher for people consuming arsenic above standard (average five-year SIR was 237.00 per 100.000; 95% CI=214.93–260.74), in comparison to people consuming arsenic within limits (average SIR=124.40 per 100.000; 95% CI=96.00–158.56).
