Bu çalışma, farklı kullanıcıların Google arama sonuç sayfalarında filtre balonlarıyla karşılaşıp karşılaşmadıklarını ve arama sonuç sayfalarındaki kişiselleştirmenin etkisini araştırmaktadır. Araştırma, Google’da aynı anda aynı anahtar kelimeleri arayan kullanıcıların sonuçlarını karşılaştırarak farklılıkları ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilk olarak Google arama sonuçları üzerine yapılmış daha önceki araştırmalara ve tartışmalara yer verilmiştir. Bir sonraki adımda Google hesabı olan 32 kullanıcıyla araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın ilk aşamasında söz konusu kullanıcıların demografik bilgileri, Google kullanım sıklıkları ve anahtar kelimelerle ilintili olarak İnternet gezinim davranışları anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Bir sonraki aşamada araştırma için belirlenen 3 anahtar kelimeyi aynı gün ve aynı saatte hem Google hesabına bağlıyken normal pencerede, hem de Google hesabına bağlı olmadan gizli pencerede Google’da aramaları istenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler ışığında, aynı saatte ve aynı kelimelerle sorgu yapan farklı kullanıcıların arama sonuç sayfaları karşılaştırılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda konum verisi hariç diğer kişiselleştirilmiş verilerin Google arama sonuçlarını neredeyse etkilemediği tespit edilmiştir. Filtre balonları ve kişiselleştirilmiş haber akışları / arama sonuçları güncel ve tartışılan konular olması nedeniyle çalışmanın alana katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.

Monitoring software quality in a development project is an important task required of project management, especially for large-scale projects. Our primary interest is evaluating quality of a system's structure and implications of the structure for project management, maintenance, and testing. Without the help of source code analysis tools it is difficult to understand a large project, evaluate its quality, and track progress effectively. In this paper we discuss application of tools developed for this purpose to the open- source Mozilla project.

This article proposes a general graph-based representation for modeling Object Oriented (OO) soft- ware designs. The advantages of the representation over the Unified Modeling Language (UML) are: it formalizes the link between primitive OO design features and primitive entities of graphs; it models all the design features of an OO design in one cohesive graph; it provides us a convenient platform for formal analysis and reasoning. Thus, the representation allows us to investigate various properties of OO designs, through their graph representations. Applications of collaborative work and platforms allowing workgroups to exchange projects and files over the Internet is a rapidly expanding field. The Laboratoire de Teleinformatique in collaboration with CANARIE and Hexagram launched the Articiel project studying collaborative work by the creation of wiremesh 3D characters and animations. Artist collaboration is expanded over the Internet by the Articiel platform based on Web services SOA architecture. A plugin for the MAYA 3D authoring software was realized previously. Considering that Maya is private domain software not accessible to anyone, actual work converted the MAYA plugin code for the BLENDER public domain software whose functionalities are similar to MAYA. The Blender and Maya software both works on personal computer. The aim of the collaborative work to enable with these applications is to create a Web session on the Articiel platform Web server and share project or contribution file on its disk space.

A remote station for use in a data transmission system that includes a clock channel adapted to carry a periodic clock signal, a flag channel adapted to carry a flag signal, and a data channel adapted to carry a plurality of data signals between the remote station and at least one additional station is disclosed. The remote station includes a number of data terminals and circuitry for receiving the clock signal and the flag signal. The flag signal is stored in the remote station for only a selected interval comprising a selected number of periods of the clock signal. The remote station also includes circuitry for gating a number of data signals between the data channel and the data terminals during the selected period when the flag signal is stored in the remote station. At the termination of the selected interval, the flag signal is placed back on the flag channel.

Modern software development methodologies use Model Based Development (MBD) in design and verification practices. A number of software design tools support the use of modeling throughout the development lifecycle. Using appropriate notation the system model is build and verified. Subsequently the software source code can be automatically generated from the design artifacts.
