Open TV shows how we have left “the network era” far behind and entered the networked era, with the web opening up new possibilities for independent producers, entrepreneurs, and media audiences. Based on interviews with writers, producers, show-runners, and network executives, visits to festivals and award shows, and the experience of producing his own series, Aymar Jean Christian argues that the web brought innovation to television by opening up series development to new producers, fans, and sponsors that had previously been excluded. Online access to distribution provides creative freedom for indie producers, allows for more diverse storytelling from marginalized communities, and introduces new ways of releasing and awarding shows.

Netflix’te 12 Kasım 2020 tarihinde gösterime girdiği günden itibaren en çok konuşulan dizilerin başında gelen “Bir Başkadır” dizisi, bu kitabın ortaya çıkışında çok büyük rol oynamış ve dizinin her bir bölümünde geçen olaylar, konular, kuramlar, mesajlar incelenerek aslında sadece bir diziden ibaret olmadığı ve çok önemli sosyal, psikolojik, ekonomik, cinsiyetçi, toplumsal mesajları da içerisinde barındırdığı tespit edilmiştir.  Bu tespitlerden yola çıkılarak, bir Türkiye mozaiği olan dizi, toplumsal cinsiyetten başörtü sorununa; feminist yaklaşımdan siyasal tartışmalara kadar geniş bir yelpazede, kuramlar çerçevesinde, 7 başlık altında değerlendirilmiştir.

El presente estudio se centra en el fenómeno WebTV de las televisiones en Internet. Por motivos empre- sariales, tecnológicos y comunicacionales, la revolu- ción inversa, quizá más radical (Internet desde la pantalla de TV), está todavía pendiente. Mientras esta se produce, nuestro objeto de estudio aparece ya plenamente generalizado y en gran medida mar- cará las pautas de esta convergencia fundamental. En este contexto, nuestra investigación pretende, en primer lugar, el análisis conceptual y la determina- ción de todas las propuestas (y de sus formatos) que tendrían que ver con la incorporación de la televi- sión a la Red; en segundo lugar, a partir del diseño e una muestra, desarrollamos la descripción y tipo- logía de éstas.

Siden midten av 2000-tallet har nett-tv vokst frem som en ny måte å publisere TV-innhold på. Selv om markedet for nett-tv fortsatt er lite - og helt klart underordnet "vanlig" lineær TV-seing - er det ingen tvil om at nett-TV anses som et viktig satsningsområdet både for etablerte mediehus og nye medieaktører. Denne artikkelen analyserer tilblivelsen av en konkret norsk nett-TV-serie, Oljebarna, produsert av produksjonsselskapet Rakett for VGTV. Artikkelen analyserer hvordan serien ble produsert og publisert, samt hvordan produksjon av nett-TV skiller seg fra "vanlig" TV-produksjon.

The worldwide ICT massive appropriation, one of the consequences of web 2.0 has made millions of people approaching to mobile media production and webapps to produce content, spread by social networks. Scenario that during the twentieth century seemed unlikely . To approach this phenomenon it has been made an empirical- analytical reaching to three specific consequences of this anomaly : The mobile cinema, Web Television, and  Videoloop as a new form of film editing. The first two show the decline in the learning curve of the media production tools and their costs specially mobile "apps", because there are many free options. On Videoloop matters, it’s proposed as a new cinema montage form , thanks to Web 2.0 user’s appropriation, mobility and cloud computing , regardless of the dynamic of audiovisual language creation conducted by traditional mass media during the twentieth century. Finally, it is evident that the overall social mobilization towards a multimedia Internet for everyone, not only affects users but to traditional media, which have had to become into big websites with an important presence in mobile app stores. Opening panorama benefiting prosumers, giving diversity to media offer and inviting non-professional users to participate in media production, meanwhile the role and scope of the mass media of the twentieth century has to be rethought towards the XXI century society.

La apropiación masiva de TIC en el mundo, una de las consecuencias de la web 2.0 ha hecho que millones de personas se acerquen a la producción mediática con herramientas móviles y web para producir su contenido, y difundirlo por redes sociales. Escenario que durante el siglo XX parecía poco probable.  Para acercarse a este fenómeno se ha hecho una aproximación empírico-analítica a tres consecuencias más específicas de este fenómeno de apropiación:  El cine con móviles, la televisión web y el Videoloop como nueva forma de montaje cinematográfico.  Los dos primeros evidencian el descenso de la curva de aprendizaje de las herramientas de producción de medios y el de su costo que en caso de las “apps” móviles, hay muchas opciones gratuitas.  En el caso del Videoloop, se quiere proponer como una  nueva forma de montaje cinematográfico, producto de la apropiación de usuarios de la web 2.0, de la movilidad y de la computación en la nube, al margen de las dinámicas de creación del lenguaje audiovisual llevadas a cabo por los mass media tradicionales durante el siglo XX.  Finalmente, es muy claro que dicha movilización social global hacia la un Internet multimedia para todos, no solo afecta a usuarios sino a los medios de comunicación tradicionales, que han tenido que transformarse en grandes portales web con presencia en almacenes de aplicaciones móviles.  Panorama de apertura que beneficia a prosumidores, que le da diversidad a la oferta mediática, y que invita a usuarios no profesionales a participar de la producción de medios, mientras replantea el papel y alcances de los medios masivos del siglo XX en la sociedad del siglo XXI.

Taking off from the Media Talk approach, this paper examines the communicative work of a Swedish sports webcast football show, Superlive, as an emerging form of web-based media format called Web-TV. This analysis is situated in a context in which broadcasting is going through fundamental changes, and broadcasters are rethinking their content in order to face the challenges arriving with recent decades' technological developments, and especially the fact that television is no longer restricted to being broadcast but can be distributed through the web and be received on PCs, tablets and mobile phones. In this 'post-broadcasting era' producers are searching for new ways of reaching audiences through creating new forms of audience address. Superlive is a good example of these changes and how broadcasters now explore the possibilities of producing television exclusively for the Web. The analysis shows that what is taking place in Superlive is clearly in contrast to the performances one could expect in the conventional broadcast. Through the participants' favoring of an interactional style characterized by informality and spontaneity, this show situates itself as backstage to the conventional forms of airings. As a result, this discursive space implies an interactional orientation to " co-presence " with the audience.

For managerial,technologicalandcommunica- tion motives, the inverse revolution, proba-bly more radical (Internet from TV's screen), is still hanging. While this one takes place, our object of study turns out to be already fullly widespread and in great measure it will mark the guidelines of this fundamental conver- gence. 1876’da halkın yönetime katılması yönünde ilk adımın I. Meşrutiyet ile atılmasıyla başlayan Türkiye’deki demokratikleşme süreci 1960, 1971 ve 1980’de askeri müdahaleler ile üç kez kesintiye uğratılmıştır. 1980 sonrası medyada yaşanan teknolojik gelişmelerle demokratik süreçlere katılım oldukça önem kazanmıştır. İnsanlar hızla gelişen teknolojinin kendileri için oluşturduğu meta dünyasında iktidar ve güç baskılarını yoğun bir biçimde hissetmeye başlayınca kendilerini ifade edecek başka alanlar bulmaya çalışmışlardır. Anaakım medya, formel olan yapısına uymamaya başlayarak informel bir hal almaya ve liberal çoğulcu paradigmanın gereklerini yerine getirememeye başlayınca bireyler ve topluluklar alternatif bir medya arayışına girmişlerdir.
Anaakım medyanın toplumun doldurulmasına ihtiyaç duyduğu boşlukları dolduramaması üzerine, bireylerin kendilerini ifade alanı olarak kullandıkları alternatif medya değişik kuramcılar tarafından farklı isim ve özellikleriyle tanımlanmıştır. Sevda Alankuş, Ellie Rennie, John D. H. Downing gibi akademisyenlerin değişik tanımlamalarına rağmen alternatif medya için ulaştıkları ortak nokta anaakıma karşı ve bağımsız olmasıdır. İletişim teknolojilerindeki yenilikler dev medya tekellerini yarattığı gibi piyasanın eğilimlerine aldırmayan karşıt kamusallıklar da oluşturmuştur. Yeni karşıt kamular iletişim teknolojilerinin yarattığı olanaklarla beraber sınırları aşan küresel bir hal de almıştır. Bu kadar geniş etkileşime imkân veren şey ise günümüzün teknolojik olanaklarıyla kullanma imkânı bulduğumuz Internet’tir. Internet’e bağlanabilen her türlü araç ile ulaşılabilen, Web olarak tanımlanan ara-yüzü ve dili kullanarak farklı biçimlerde yayın yapan televizyon Web Televizyonu, yani kısaca Web TV’dir. 
Türkiye’de Web TV’nin uygulamadaki azlığı, henüz bu kanal üzerinden alternatif seslerin kendilerini ifade alanı bulamadıkları izlenimini yaratmaktadır. Yeni medyaları etkin bir biçimde kullanan eşitlikçi ve katılımcı toplumsal örgütlenmelerin, toplumsal sorunları tartışma ve çözme çabası içinde olduğu, tüm ezilenlerin seslerini duyurabildiği, kendilerini ilgilendiren tüm politik süreçlere müdahil olabildiği demokratik iletişim ortamlarının yaratılması oldukça önemlidir. Ülkemiz şartlarında “tıpkı demokratik süreçlerin uygulanmasının gereği olduğu gibi” belirli bir refah düzeyine erişmiş bir toplum ancak bu süreçlere katılım gösterebilir. İktidarın tanıdığı fırsatlar dışında başka alanlar bularak demokratik katılım ve temsil süreçleri elde edilmediği sürece gerçek anlamda bir alternatif medyadan söz etmek mümkün olmayacaktır.

A partir de experimentações e discussões conjuntas (teorias e práxis), segue em atividade no Paraná uma web rádio que propõe ações presenciais junto à sociedade local, como oficinas e festivais, ao mesmo tempo em que mantém a produção autoral de vários programas radiofônicos e colabora na visibilidade de projetos culturais e de cidadania. Em seu oitavo ano de atividade, a AlmA Londrina Rádio Web segue na contínua busca por inovação e por recursos, com produções em formato web TV, parcerias e transmissões ao vivo remuneradas, procurando não perder as características da comunicação popular e comunitária. Com base nos debates sobre economia política da comunicação, de Ferraretto e Kischinhevsky (2010), junto ao business para web rádio (PRATA, MARTINS, 2011), apresenta-se a midiamorfose (FIDLER, 1997) da web rádio como dinâmica essencial para garantir viabilidade financeira e a sobrevivência das emissoras online.

Son 25 yılda teknolojik anlamda yaşanan baş döndürücü gelişmeler internetin ortaya çıkışı ile paralel bir çizgide ilerlemektedir. İnternetin gelişimiyle birlikte iletişim biçimleri ve iletişim ortamları da değişmiş, böylece toplumsal dönüşüm başlamıştır. Dünya üzerindeki hemen herkes internete ‘World Wide Web’ üzerinden bağlanmaktadır. Web internetin eş anlamı değildir ama dünya üzerindeki bilgi ağına erişmemizi sağlayan anahtardır. Web’in tarihsel gelişimi yani web 1.0 dönemi, 1990’ların ortasından itibaren insanların yaygın biçimde internet kullanımıyla başlamaktadır. İnsan merkezli ve katılımcı Web 2.0 ile birlikte kişisel olarak içerik üretimine geçilmiştir. Web 3.0 yani semantik web olarak adlandırılan sürecin 2020 yılında tamamlanacağı ve Web 4.0 ile birlikte pragmatik web dönemine geçileceği planlanmaktadır. Web 4.0, web’in öznelleşeceği bir dönemi işaret etmektedir. İnsanların bilgiyi neden ve nasıl kullandıklarını açıklayan araçlardan, uygulamalardan ve teorilerden oluşan bu dönemde, kullanıcının ilgisine ve isteğine göre değişim gösteren teknolojinin kendi kendini yenileyeceği öngörülmektedir. Televizyon, Web 4.0 dönemine kadar teknolojik olarak evrilerek yaşamını sürdürmüştür. Teknolojik belirlenimcilik yaklaşımına göre; kişisel faydanın televizyonun evrileceği yeri belirleyeceği düşünülmektedir. Gelinen son noktada televizyon yayıncılığı; akıllı televizyonlar aracılığıyla etkileşime açık, kullanıcıya uyarlanmış, tamamen kişisel faydacılığa hizmet eden yapıda şekillenmektedir. IPTV ve Web TV’ler bunların ilk uygulamalarındandır. Web TV’ler internetin sağladığı hız ve kolaylık sayesinde, tematik tv yayıncılığı yapmak isteyen ve hedef kitlesi olan herkesin içerik üretmesini mümkün kılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda; geniş bir hedef kitlesi olan futbol külüpleri web üzerinden kesintisiz televizyon yayınları yapmaktadır. Çalışmada; Yeni Malatyaspor TV örneklem alınarak incelecek ve bu örneklem üzerinden içerik analizi yapılacaktır.

The understanding of democracy as a political organization form, has in many scenarios the debate on how pure is in a representative form and how effective is when is "pure" or direct democracy, as well as thought for the "polis" or places with an specific geographic location, contrary to the Saskia Sassen concept of "global cities". From this discussion, we can address the television as a twentieth century mass media, funded and operated by governments or private companies, exercising symbolic power in a nation, as seen by the John B. Thompson power forms in modern societies, and as an organizational form that clearly exemplifies a representative democracy from the choice of themes, characters, speech and even workflow technology. The Web 2.0 TV not only allows this massmediatic TV to migrate to a ubiquitous environment, flexible and powerful (that of cloud computing and mobility) but invites the audience to be part of as a production crew of this new television, which workflow is similar to the TV of the twentieth century, and to the new workflows purposed by major Internet players in the second decade of the XXI century. In  Externado University this phenomena has been investigated through an empirical and intense way  the migrated to Internet television, with a workflow similar to the 20th century massive TV, but with the intervention of actors (prosumer-students) in a more flexible and open way than the "representative" Television. With the advent of Google Hangouts, web television production becomes more open and multi-platform. In the Javeriana University began experimenting with Web TV and Twitcasting supported in Hangouts for live coverage of events. Thus, the picture of the TV in the twenty-first century becomes by definition not only democratic but "direct" about this form of political organization.
