OTSEGO ELEMENTARY EXTRA

August 14, 2015

Our Students, Our Community, Our Success
ELEMENTARY LEADERSHIP CHANGES
Leadership at Otsego Elementary has changed this year.
However, you will still see a familiar face as Mrs. Katrina
Baughman, former assistant principal, is now our
building principal.

Mrs. Baughman is currently home

with her new baby but has a
message for students and parents:
Welcome back!! I am so excited to start this school
year! We have so many great things happening at OES,
and I am looking forward to watching our students
learn and grow for another year. Even though I am out
on maternity leave, as always, please feel free to
contact me with any questions, concerns or issues. You
are also welcome to contact Marc Opsincs - Assistant
Principal or Priscilla Pixler - Interim Principal

Welcome Mr. Marc Opsincs as

our new Assistant Principal. He
has some words for Otsego
Elementary Community.
It is with great honor and excitement that I write this
letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed
Assistant Principal of Otsego Elementary School for the
2015-2016 school year. I currently reside in Maumee
with my two beautiful, spunky daughters, Spencer and
Savannah. Having grown up in a large family, I have
learned the importance of teamwork and teamwork
continues to be a major component of who I am today. I
anticipate the opportunity to build relationships and
grow with students, staff, and community members as
the school year unfolds. So, please stop by my office
and say hello, as my door is always open.

OTSEGO LATCH KEY PROGRAM

Weve had several calls regarding our before and
afterschool Latch Key Program. This school-age childcare
is for children age 5 and above. It runs before school from
6:30 a.m. to the start of school and after school to 6:00
p.m.
Hourly Rates: First child $3.00 per hour, 2nd child $1.50 per
hour, 3rd child $1.00 per hour (minimum of one hour per
session, hourly rates billed to the next quarter hour)
The annual Latch Key Registration fee of $10.00 must
accompany the registration form.
The Latchkey Staff are highly qualified and well trained.
They plan many activities to engage your children and
provide a safe and positive atmosphere.
In the event of a school cancellation after a two hour delay,
Latchkey will remain open.
You will find the registration form and additional information on
our Otsego website. Registration should be completed and sent
to office to the attention of Crystal Stough.
