Woodruff Church of God e-Edition Newsletter September 25, 2012

Pastors Notes: Sunday was an AWESOME DAY!!!!! The Spirit of the Lord was prevalent from the first note on the instruments and the first word sung. WOW!!!! The choir, praise team, musicians, media and sound personnel skillfully worked together to provide a worship atmosphere. That atmosphere created a place for the convicting power of the Holy Ghost to move. There were 2 salvations during Sunday School, 4 or 5 before the offering was taken and another couple during the altar call. There were a total of 7 salvations in the sanctuary and 8 in the Childrens Worship Service. To God Be The Glory!!!! Then Sunday night, our Youth Ministry did a GREAT job leading in worship. The praise team was awesome and the drama was great. Pastor Jason did a great job with the Word and we were truly blessed. Im so thankful for a church that flows with the Spirit and allows the Lord to do whateverwhenever He chooses. GREATER THINGS ARE YET TO COME!!!!!!! COMMUNITY REVIVALBegins this Sunday night. The Sunday evening service will be on main street beginning with pre-service music at 5:30 and the service beginning at 6:00 PM. Bring your lawn chair and plan on being in that service. Because of that, there will be no service in our building this Sunday night. The revival continues Monday-Wednesday, meeting at Woodruff 1st Baptist Church. The service times are pre-service music at 6:30 and service time at 7:00 PM. Again, because of community revival, there will be no service at our church Wednesday evening. WE ARE ASKING ALL OF OUR PEOPLE TO BE INVOLVED IN THIS COMMUNITY EFFORT!!!!! CHURCH MEMBERSHIP is THIS SUNDAY!!!!!!! If you would like information about becoming a member of our church, meet Pastor Terry in the Christian Life Center. Come to the door marked STAFF and go into the room directly in front of you. Meet there at 9:30. Welcome to the FAMILY!!!!! BABY DEDICATION.October 7th AM service. If you would like to have your baby dedicated, you need to call the church office and give us your babys name. We also need 3 pictures of your child that we can use on the screen when your childs name is called. Please remember that dedication is as much about the parents as the child. Therefore, it is imperative that at least one of the parents or guardians be a believer.
