CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES
The VEIVACUUM-L circuit-breaker is constructed with three separate poles mounted on a robust metallic frame with operating mechanism side mounted. Therefore a circuit-breaker with a geometric configuration is obtained, permitting an easy and pratical installation within the cubicles, with reduced dimensions. The poles are composed of a finned epoxy resin enclosure where the following is placed: fixed upper contacts Vacuum Interrupter flexible connection to lower outgoing conductor insulation rods for the activation of the mobile contact in the Vacuum Interrupter The extinguishing chamber is composed of a hermetic ceramic enclosure, inside which, is produced a high level of vacuum higher than of 10-7 bar, where interruption of electric arc occurs. It is possible to manoeuvre the remote operation of the circuit-breaker by means of the assembly of the relative accessories (geared motor, shunt opening release, etc.).The rated carrying capacity is 630A and 1250A. On request the circuitbreaker is equipped with an appropriate truck which allows it to be easily moved and facilitates insertion and extraction of the circuit-breaker from the switchboard.

CARATTERISTICHE COSTRUTTIVE
L interruttore VEIVACUUM-L costituito da tre poli separati montati su di un robusto telaio ed allineati con il comando sullo stesso asse. Si ottiene cos un interruttore a comando laterale con una configurazione geometrica che permette una facile e razionale installazione negli scomparti, con dimensioni dingombro ridotte. I poli sono realizzati con un involucro alettato in resina epossidica dove alloggiano: i contatti fissi superiori la camera di interruzione (Bottiglia sottovuoto V.I.) il collegamento flessibile al conduttore duscita inferiore le aste isolanti per lazionamento del contatto mobile nella Bottiglia V.I. La camera destinzione costituita da un involucro ceramico ermetico, allinterno del quale viene prodotto un alto grado di vuoto superiore a 10-7 bar, ove avviene linterruzione dellarco elettrico. possibile il comando a distanza dellinterruttore attraverso il montaggio di appositi accessori (motoriduttore, sganciatore di apertura, ecc...). La portata nominale di 630A e 1250A. A richiesta linterruttore corredato di un apposito carrello che consente, facili spostamenti e rende agevoli le operazioni di inserimento e di estrazione dellinterruttore dal quadro.

Il comando The operating mechanism

The VEIVACUUM-L circuit-breakers use a mechanical operating mechanism, with stored energy and free release. These characteristics allow opening and closing operations independent of the operator. The mechanical operating mechanism is of simple conception and use and can be customised with a wide range of accessories which, are easy and rapid to install. This simplicity makes the apparatus more reliable. The ease of applying accessories makes circuit-breaker customisation possible during its whole lifespan in order to upgrade it to any new installation requirement. Gli interruttori VEIVACUUM-L utilizzano un comando meccanico, ad accumulo di energia e sgancio libero; tali caratteristiche consentono manovre di apertura e di chiusura indipendenti dalloperatore. Il comando meccanico di semplice concezione e impiego ed personalizzabile con unampia gamma di accessori facilmente e rapidamente installabili. Questa semplicit si traduce in una maggiore affidabilit dellapparecchio. Available versions
The right-side VEIVACUUM-L operating mechanism are available in the following versions: a) Fixed version. The circuit breaker does not include a truck. The main circuits are bolted to that of the switchboard. b) Unboltable removable version. The circuit breaker is equipped with a truck and the main circuits are bolted to that of the switchboard. To remove the circuit breaker it is necessary to unbolt the main circuits, thus unblocking the truck with the use its locking lever. c) Removable version. The circuit breaker is equipped with a truck and the main circuits are connected to that of the switchboard by means of the use of disconnectable pliers. To remove the circuit breaker in this case it is necessary to unblock the truck operating its locking lever.

Gli interruttori VEIVACUUM-L a comando laterale destro sono disponibili nelle seguenti esecuzioni: a) Ad esecuzione fissa. Linterruttore non dispone di carrello, ed il circuito principale imbullonato a quello del quadro. b) Ad esecuzione estraibile sbullonabile. Linterruttore dotato di carrello ed il circuito principale imbullonato a quello del quadro. Per lasportazione dellinterruttore necessario sbullonare il circuito principale, quindi sbloccare il carrello agendo sulla sua leva di blocco. c) Ad esecuzione estraibile: linterruttore dotato di carrello ed il circuito principale connesso a quello del quadro mediante pinze sconnettibili. Per asportare linterruttore in questo caso sufficiente sbloccare il carrello agendo sulla sua leva di blocco.

EXTERNAL TOROIDAL CT FOR EARTH FAULT The external toroidal transformer allow determination of the earth fault current version with closed core internal diameter 110 mm. The external toroid use is compulsory when protection 51N is to be provided with 24 kV circuit-breakers and 230 mm pole centre distance.
