My Reflections
The lessons and reflections that I have learned on my observations of my Resource
Teacher’s application of these principles is that first; you must set an objective right before
you enter the class and conduct a lesson to the student. By this, you will be able to be
knowledgeable of how the students would keenly learn and understand the discussion
very well. Second; you need to be organized of the topics that you will be discussing to
them. If you are well organized, the students could impart more interest with the topic.
Third; you have to think creative ideas on how to catch their attention. Like how the
resource teacher for example, gave toy dollars to the students every time they participate.
Each dollar corresponds with a reward the kids would really love such as cookies, free
use of the internet, seat selection, and even having an exemption for “cleaners”. I think
that is one creative way of students could learn and have fun at the same time. Lastly; give
the students a chance to help each other. With what I have observed with my resource
teacher, she allows the students give hint to their classmates on oral recitation, and I think
that works. They were able to answer atleast 90% of the questions in the book correctly
during activity time.

My Analysis
2. Which principle of learning was least applied? Why was/were the principle not
very much applied? Give instances where this/these principles could have been
applied.
Learning is a cooperative and a collaborative process. Learning is enhanced in an
atmosphere of cooperation and collaboration. This is because, if the resource
teacher would apply this all the time, the students would always depend on the
answers other classmates would give them.
5. Do you agree with these principles of learning? Or you have discovered that
they are not always correct?
For me, since I have experienced to apply these during my practicum in college,
there’s nothing I wouldn’t agree with. Since, as to my own assessment before, all these
work and produce great outcomes.
